A display panel including a substrate, a first and second driving chips, a circuit board and multiple second signal traces are provided. The first and second driving chips are disposed in a non-display region and located adjacent to each other. The first driving chip has multiple first pins disposed on a first short side and a first long side of the first driving chip. The second driving chip has multiple second pins disposed on a second short side and a second long side of the second driving chip. In the non-display region, a width of the circuit board is smaller than a total width of the first driving chip, the second driving chip and a distance between the first driving chip and the second driving chip, and the circuit board has a plurality of first signal traces. The display panel of the invention decreases an amount of required circuit boards.

Display panel

A touch panel includes a substrate and a first electrode array. The first electrode array is disposed on the substrate and includes first and second touch regions. The first electrode array further includes first, second, third, and fourth electrodes. The first electrode is disposed on the first touch region. The second electrode is disposed on the first touch region corresponding in position to the first electrode. The third electrode is disposed on the second touch region. The fourth electrode is disposed on the second touch region corresponding in position to the third electrode. In addition, the first to fourth electrodes are all disposed on the same layer. The first electrode is disposed diagonally to the fourth electrode, and the first electrode is electrically coupled to the fourth electrode. Furthermore, a method for controlling the touch panel is also disclosed herein.

Touch device, touch panel, and method for controlling the same

A touch panel includes a substrate, a plurality of first traces, an insulation layer, a plurality of second traces, and a microcontroller. The first traces are disposed over the substrate, the insulation layer is disposed over the first traces, and the second traces are disposed over the insulation layer. The microcontroller is electrically connected to the first traces and the second traces, and is operable to control the first traces and/or the second traces so that the first traces and/or the second traces form open loops or closed loops. Furthermore, a touch sensing method is also disclosed herein.

Touch panel and touch sensing method thereof

A driving method of an electrophoretic display is provided. The driving method includes the following steps. A plurality of pixels of a display panel of the electrophoretic display are configured as a plurality of blocks. A common voltage of the display panel is set to a first voltage. A plurality of scanning signals are inputted to a plurality of scanning lines of the display panel in order in which scanning lines corresponding to the same block receives the same scanning signal. A plurality of data lines of the display panel are measured to obtain at least one peak voltage corresponding to each of the blocks. A feed through voltage corresponding to each of the blocks is determined according the peak voltages corresponding to the blocks. A plurality of driving signals which drive each of the blocks are adjusted according the feed through voltage corresponding to each of the blocks.

Driving method and method for measuring feed through voltage of electrophoretic display

A circuit board assembly includes two external circuit boards, at least one electrical connector, at least one electronic component, and at least one hollow substrate. Each external circuit board includes an external electromagnetic shielding layer, a circuit layer and a dielectric layer. In each external circuit board, the dielectric layer is located between the external electromagnetic shielding layer and the circuit layer. The electrical connector is connected between the circuit layers located between the external electromagnetic shielding layers. The electronic component is disposed between the external circuit boards and connected with one of the circuit layers. The hollow substrate with plural openings is disposed between the external circuit boards. The electronic component and the electrical connector are located in the openings. Both a thickness of the electronic component and a height of the electrical connector are smaller than or equal to a thickness of the hollow substrate.

Circuit board assembly

An over-temperature protection circuit is adapted to a light source driver coupled to a light-emitting device. The light source driver has a current setting terminal receiving a set current to control the magnitude of a current flowing through the light-emitting device. The over-temperature protection circuit includes a first, second, and third resistors, a thermal resistor measuring temperature of the light-emitting device, and a diode. A first terminal of the first resistor provides the set current to the current setting terminal. The second resistor is coupled between the first resistor and a ground voltage in series. A first terminal of the thermal resistor is coupled to a reference voltage. The third resistor is coupled between the thermal resistor and the ground voltage in series. An anode and a cathode of the diode are respectively coupled to a second terminal of the thermal resistor and a second terminal of the first resistor.
