A display panel, including a drive circuit, where the drive circuit is at least used to drive the display panel to display obtained display data. The drive circuit includes a shift register, a data buffer and a first control circuit; the shift register is used to output display data of each sub-pixel according to a preset timing sequence; the data buffer at least includes a first cache module composed of N repeat units; a repeat unit includes at least one cache unit, the cache unit is connected to the shift register, and two cache units at a same position in the k-th repeat unit and the (k+1)-th repeat unit are multiplexed with a same clock signal terminal; the cache unit is used to be turned on in response to an output signal from the clock signal terminal connected to the cache unit, to cache the received display data.

A display device includes a display panel including a plurality of gate lines and a plurality of data lines, the plurality of gate lines intersecting and being insulated with the plurality of data lines, the display panel further including a plurality of sub-pixels arranged in an array, and the plurality of gate lines and the plurality of data lines defining areas where the sub-pixels are located; a gate driver electrically connected to the plurality of gate lines in the display panel; and a source driver bound to the display panel and electrically connected to the plurality of data lines in the display panel, the source driver being configured to set data transmission start time for respective data lines so that effective charging time of respective sub-pixels formed by the plurality of data lines and a same gate line is same.

Provided are a method for driving a display panel, and a display device. When switching from a first picture to a second picture is performed and the second picture is displayed in at least two consecutive display frames, display data of the second picture is received in the current display frame of the second picture; whether the second picture is a poor picture is determined according to the display data and a poor picture determining condition; and when the second picture is a poor picture, a display panel is controlled to perform scanning driving every at least one row of sub-pixels, and in two rows of sub-pixels subjected to scanning driving, when the first row of sub-pixels has been driven and the second row of sub-pixels is being driven, display data corresponding to the second row of sub-pixels is loaded to a data line connected to the second row.

A glass-ceramic cooking apparatus and a method relating to temperature limiting control of the glass heating area for preventing cooking oil ignition is disclosed. The apparatus comprises at least one glass surface, at least one heat source under the glass to create a heating area on the glass, one temperature sensor and one control unit for each heat source, wherein the sensor measures the temperature on the underside the glass heating area, and the control unit is electrically connected with the heat source, compares the measured glass temperature with predetermined upper and lower temperature limits that are based on a corresponding relationship between the heating area temperature and the cooking oil temperature within the cooking vessel, and then reduces or increases the output power of the heating source, so that the maximum temperature of the cooking oil in the cooking vessel can be limited in a range that is below the cooking oil ignition point while a minimum temperature can still be maintained for a desired cooking performance.

Methods for USB signal communication over an optical link are described. One aspect includes detecting connection of a device circuit to a USB device. The detecting may further include transmitting an electrical pulse through a reactive network, and detecting a change in a delay associated with the electrical pulse responsive to connecting the device circuit to the USB device. An optical signal associated with the detected connection may be transmitted to a host circuit via an optical communication channel.

Driving method for liquid crystal display panel and non-transitory computer-readable storage medium

Systems and methods for optical transmission of one-or-more out-of-band signals associated with audio-video signal communication are described. In one aspect, an optical receiver receives a first out-of-band electrical signal and a second out-of-band electrical signal from a video sink. The first out-of-band electrical signal may correspond to an audio-video stream previously received or concurrently being received from a video source optical transmitter at the optical receiver. The second out-of-band electrical signal may also correspond to the audio-video stream. The optical receiver may combine the first out-of-band electrical signal and the second out-of-band electrical signal into a transmit electrical signal. In one aspect, the optical receiver converts the transmit electrical signal into an optical signal, and transmits the optical signal to an optical transmitter via an optical communication channel.

Optical cable for transmission of audio and video signals

Systems and methods to implement a USB and Thunderbolt optical signal transceiver are described. One method includes detecting presence of a USB sideband signal received over an optical communication channel and associated with a USB communication request. Responsive to the detecting, the method may determine that the USB communication request corresponds to a USB communication mode and perform a sideband negotiation. The USB communication mode may be enabled. A specified number of channels associated with the USB communication request may be determined. USB communication may be performed using the specified number of channels over the optical communication channel in the USB communication mode.

USB and thunderbolt optical signal transceiver

Systems and methods to transmit audio-video signals over an optical communication channel are described. One aspect includes receiving a plurality of audio-video electrical signals at an optical transmitter. The optical transmitter may also receive a plurality of out-of-band electrical signals. The optical transmitter may collectively modulate the audio-video electrical signals to generate a composite electrical signal. In one aspect, the optical transmitter bias current-modulates a bias current level of the composite electrical signal using the electrical out-of-band signals, and generates a modulated electrical signal based on the bias current-modulating. The optical transmitter may convert the modulated electrical signal into a modulated optical signal using a laser diode, and transmit the modulated optical signal to an optical receiver over an optical communication channel.

Optical fiber interconnection systems and methods are described. One aspect includes receiving a pulse-amplitude modulated (PAM4) electrical signal at a transmitter for transmission to a receiver. The PAM4 electrical signal is decoded into a pair of non-return-to-zero (NRZ) electrical signals. The pair of NRZ electrical signals is converted into a corresponding pair of NRZ optical signals including a first NRZ optical signal and a second NRZ optical signal. The first NRZ optical signal is transmitted to a receiver over an communication channel. The second NRZ optical signal is transmitted to the receiver over the optical communication channel.

Optical fiber symbol format conversion system and method

Voltage converter systems and methods are described. One aspect includes extracting energy from one or more data lines. A feedback voltage is derived from the extracted energy. Responsive to the value of the feedback voltage being less than a reference voltage value, a waveform modulation controller is switched to a pulse-frequency modulation (PFM) mode. Subsequent to switching the waveform modulation controller to the PFM mode, additional energy is extracted from the one or more digital data lines. Another feedback voltage is derived from the additional extracted energy. Responsive to the value of other feedback voltage being greater than the reference voltage value, the waveform modulation controller is further switched from the PFM mode to a pulse-skipping modulation (PSM) mode.

Voltage converter

Systems and methods for HDMI signal communication over an optical communication link are described. One aspect includes receiving an HDMI control signal from an HDMI master device, and another HDMI control signal from an HDMI sink terminal via a communication resources. The method identifies half-duplex communication resource contention between the HDMI control signal and the other HDMI control signal, and transitions a communication direction of the half-duplex communication resources to give the HDMI control signal precedence over the other HDMI control signal. Subsequent to transitioning the communication direction, the method transfers the HDMI control signal to the HDMI sink terminal via the communication resources. Subsequent to transferring the HDMI control signal, the method again transitions the direction of the half-duplex communication resources, and transfers the other HMDI control signal to the HDMI master device.
