A method for backing up data of a storage system, where at least two mirroring channels are provided between a first mainboard and a second mainboard of a storage system, and the method includes: transmitting data through at least one effective mirroring channel if all the mirroring channels are effective; and transmitting the data through remaining mirroring channel(s) if at least one of the mirroring channels for transmitting the data fails. The method enables traffic to be transmitted evenly on normal mirroring channels, and ensures maximized utilization of the bandwidth of mirroring channels.

Method and apparatus for backing up storage system data

The present invention discloses a communication apparatus. The communication apparatus includes one or more board and a backplane. The board includes a connector and a function processing unit circuit connected to the connector. The backplane includes at least one group of board connectors. Each group of the board connectors includes two board connectors that receive signals from different boards. The board connector includes connection terminals connected to the connector on boards. The two board connectors are distributed up and down, and the connection terminals of the two board connectors are distributed symmetrically around a center. The foregoing communication apparatus and backplane are cost-efficient.

The present invention discloses a hot pluggable fan system and connection apparatus. The system includes at least one fan assembly, and a hot pluggable fan connection apparatus. The hot pluggable fan connection apparatus includes a bottom plate; a crossbar existed on the bottom plate, for dividing the bottom plate into a forepart and a rear part; two side panels located on both sides of the bottom plate and vertical to the crossbar; a beam connected to the two side panels and above the crossbar; and one or more fan baffles combined with the side panels for forming at least one slot for accommodating the fan assembly, the baffles located at the forepart of the bottom plate and parallel to the side panels.
