A connector includes a resin member which includes a protruding portion extending in a right and left direction when viewed in an up and down direction, a frame portion having an annular shape surrounding the protruding portion when viewed in the up and down direction, and a coupling portion between the protruding portion and the frame portion when viewed in the up and down direction and coupling the protruding portion to the frame portion. A plurality of signal terminals is supported by the frame portion and arranged in the right and left direction in a region in front of or in back of the protruding portion. The floating terminal covers at least part of a left end of the protruding portion when viewed in the up and down direction and is not connected to any of terminals of a connector, including the signal terminals and a ground terminal.

Connector including a resin body member, signal terminals and a ground terminal

In a connector, a contact part is exposed from a resin body member at a surface facing in a rearward direction of the resin body member. The contact part is displaced in a forward direction when the contact part is pushed in the forward direction to cause the spring part to elastically deform. There is no other terminal between the contact part and an inclined surface. The contact part is located below the inclined surface.

Compact receptacle connector with improved connection reliability

A ground terminal includes a side portion having a side surface facing in a negative direction of a Y-axis, the side surface being exposed from a resin body member, a bottom portion having a bottom surface facing in a positive direction of a Z-axis, the bottom surface being exposed from the resin body member, a side metal film covering part of the side surface, and a bottom metal film covering part of the bottom surface. A region between both ends of the side metal film in an X-axis direction does not overlap, on an X-axis, a region between both ends of the bottom metal film in the X-axis direction. The side surface and the bottom surface are connected.

Connector

A female multipolar connector includes a first internal terminal; a second internal terminal; a first external terminal; and a first insulator that holds the first external terminal. The first internal terminal is a male type and is arranged on an inner side portion of the first external terminal. The second internal terminal is a female type and is arranged on an outer side portion of the first external terminal. A height of the first external terminal is greater than a height of the first internal terminal. The first external terminal is the female type.

In a connector, first, second, third and fourth terminals are disposed to satisfy conditions (A) and (B): (A) (a1) a left-end of the first terminal is positioned to left of a left-end of the fourth terminal, and a distance between the left-end of the first terminal and the left-end of the fourth terminal in a left-right direction is shorter than a first distance, or (a2) the left-end of the first terminal coincides with the left-end of the fourth terminal in the left-right direction, (B) (b1) a right-end of the second terminal is positioned to left of a right-end of the third terminal, and a distance between the right-end of the second terminal and the right-end of the third terminal in the left-right direction is shorter than a second distance, or (b2) the right-end of the second terminal coincides with the right-end of the third terminal in the left-right direction.

Connector including multiple terminals having different sizes

A first connector of a connector set includes first internal terminals, a first insulation member that fixes the first internal terminals, and first external terminals having a surrounding shape portion that surrounds the first internal terminals and the first insulation member. The second connector includes second internal terminals, a second insulation member that fixes the second internal terminals, and a second external terminal having a surrounding shape portion that surrounds the second internal terminals and the second insulation member. The first external terminals have cutout portions at a portion that is part of the surrounding shape portion of the first external terminal and faces a ground conductor formed at a mounting position of the second connector of the second circuit substrate.

An electric connector set includes a first engaging terminal having spring engagement of a first projecting terminal of a first connector and a first recessed terminal of a second connector, a second engaging terminal having spring engagement of a second projecting terminal of the first connector and a second recessed terminal of the second connector, and disposed in a first direction, and a wall-shaped terminal disposed between the first and second engaging terminals in the first direction, extends along a second direction crossing the first direction and a fitting direction over a region including an outer shape of a projection region in the first direction where the first projecting and recessed terminals are spring-engaged, and has a similar height as the electric connector set. Locking mechanisms to retain connector engagement may be used and may be formed of a same member as the wall shaped terminal.

An electrical connector set includes first and second connectors, in which the first connector has a first connection terminal, a first high-frequency connection terminal transmitting a high frequency signal, and a first external grounding member surrounding the first high-frequency connection terminal, the second connector has a second connection terminal, a second high-frequency connection terminal, and a second external grounding member surrounding the second high-frequency connection terminal. At a time of fitting, the second external grounding member is located on an inner side of the first external grounding member, the first and second connection terminals are located on an outer side of the first external grounding member, the second external grounding member is closed in a peripheral shape to surround the first and second high-frequency connection terminals, and first and second mounting parts are located on an inner side of the second external grounding member.

A connector including a first connector and a second connector configured to face each to fit together. The first connector includes a first internal terminal including terminals along a longitudinal direction, a first insulating member supporting the first internal terminal, and first external terminals at two ends of the first internal terminal in the longitudinal direction. The second connector includes a second internal terminal including terminals along a longitudinal direction and that engages with the first internal terminal, a second insulating member supporting the second internal terminal, and second external terminals at two ends of the second internal terminal in the longitudinal direction. The first connector includes projecting portions that project further toward the second connector than the first internal terminal does in a fitting direction. A multipolar connector set includes a first connector and a second connector fitted together. The first connector includes first inner terminals arranged in multiple rows and a first insulating member configured to hold the first inner terminals, and the second connector includes second inner terminals arranged in multiple rows and a second insulating member configured to hold the second inner terminals. The multipolar connector set further includes a conductive shielding member disposed between adjacent rows of the first or second inner terminals in a fitted state where the first connector and the second connector are fitted together, with the first inner terminals being in contact the second inner terminals.
