Provided is a joining structure for processing which joins reliably and without misalignment a dental CAD/CAM block to be machined to a block holder for holding same onto a processing device. An engagement protrusion is formed on a block-side joint surface of a block to be processed, and an engagement recess is formed on a holder-side joint surface of a block holder. An adhesive retaining space is formed therebetween. An adhesive is applied thereto, and the engagement protrusion and the engagement recess are engaged and joined. The engagement protrusion formed on the block to be processed is rectangular or substantially rectangular. If the engagement protrusion extends from the front surface towards the back surface of the block to be processed, the protrusion can removed from a mold (shown in FIGS.A andB) by moving the protrusion in the direction of the arrow (shown in FIGS.A andB).

Dental curable composition

A polyaryletherketone resin material is provided for dental use having high color tone stability in the case of exposure to visible light. The polyaryletherketone resin material for dental use includes a polyaryletherketone resin, which is a thermoplastic resin containing at least an aromatic group, an ether group (ether bond), and a ketone group (ketone bond) in its structural unit, and having a b* value of 10.0 or more in terms of colorimetric value of a 1.0 mm molded body in a CIELab color system under a black background condition.

A dental resin composite material is provided that is reduced in darkness of its color tone, and also reduced in burning and color unevenness. Specifically provided are a dental resin composite material including 100 parts by mass of a polyaryletherketone resin, 10 parts by mass to 300 parts by mass of inorganic particles, and 90 ppm or less of an impurity having an aromatic ring, a method of producing the dental resin composite material, and a polyaryletherketone resin for producing a dental resin composite material, to be used for producing the dental resin composite material.

A resin block that can be favorably used for obtaining dental prosthetics through the milling work, containing very little voids, having excellent property for being cut, exhibiting excellent appearance and mechanical strength, and without permitting the formation of defective products. The resin block contains a thermoplastic resin having a fluidizing temperature in a range of 310 to 500&#xb0; C. and inorganic particles in an amount of 30 to 150 parts by mass per 100 parts by mass of said thermoplastic resin. The inorganic particles are at least one kind of inorganic oxide particles selected from the group consisting of silica particles, silica composite particles of silica and other metal oxides, titania particles, and titania composite particles of titania and other metal oxides. The resin block has a thick portion of a thickness of at least not less than 5 mm, and does not contain any void whose length is not less than 1.0 mm.

To suppress a curing agent paste stored in a sealed state in a packaging container from self-curing over a long period of time, provided are a dental alginate impression material as described below, and a curing agent paste to be used for the dental alginate impression material. The dental alginate impression material may includes: a base material paste including as main components: an alginic acid salt (A); and water (B); and a curing agent paste including as main components: a gelling reaction agent (C); a poorly water-soluble organic solvent (D); and a humectant (E).

Alginate impression material for dental use and curing agent paste used therefor

Provided is an aqueous composition containing alginic acid or a derivative thereof, the composition having a viscosity retained stably over a long period of time. The alginic acid-containing aqueous composition includes alginic acid or a derivative thereof (A), water (B), and a non-reducing sugar (C). Also provided are a dental alginate impression material and a base material for a dental alginate impression material each using the composition, in which the viscosity of the aqueous composition is stably maintained for a long period.
