A driving tool includes a driver configured to linearly move forward along a driving line to thereby strike and drive a fastener into a workpiece. The driver includes a striking member, a support member, and an engagement member engaged with the striking member and the support member and configured to restrict movement of the striking member relative to the support member in a front-rear direction. The support member includes a support surface supporting a portion of the striking member, at least one receiving surface configured to receive a reaction force to the striking member caused by driving of the fastener, and restricting parts spaced apart from each other in the front-rear direction, located at an opposite side of the striking member from the support surface in a crossing direction crossing the support surface, and configured to restrict movement of the striking member in a direction away from the support surface.

In a driving tool, during and/or after a driving operation has been completed, a restriction member is retained in an on-position by a cam. An energizing switch is retained in an on-state by an actuation portion of the restriction member. Because of this configuration, if a trigger is released during and/or after the driving operation has been completed, an electric motor continues to be activated, which causes a driver to return to a standby position.

A driving tool includes an electric motor, a battery mount that receives a battery for powering the electric motor, a flywheel that rotates by the electric motor, a magazine that loads a connected fastener rolled in a coil and including a plurality of fasteners temporarily connected in parallel, an impact driver that advances through a driving path with rotational power of the flywheel to drive the fasteners, and a feed mechanism that feeds the connected fastener by a pitch from the magazine toward the driving path.

A tool housing case includes a main body case, for holding a power tool, for example, and an accessory case, for holding a power tool accessory, for example, which accessory case is connectable to the main body case on a handle side of the main body case near a main body case handle. The accessory case has an opening that can be selectively closed by a cover element. A space is provided between the handle and the accessory case for receiving a user's hand when the handle is gripped, and when a user's hand is not gripping the handle, this space allows access to the accessory case.

The present invention includes a portable tool including a tool body having a handle, a hook including a hook body, and a mounting device. The mounting device enables the hook body to be mounted to the handle with the hook body oriented in any one of a plurality of different directions and positioned at any one of a plurality of different positions along the oriented direction.

It is an object of the invention to provide an improvement of the operability in a driving operation using a power tool. A representative power tool may comprise a driving material driven into a workpiece, a driving mechanism to drive the driving material into the workpiece, a motor, an operating device that controls energization and de-energization of the motor including a trigger switch and an internal switch, wherein the operating device further comprising a first mode in which, when the trigger switch is depressed, the internal switch is interlocked with the depressing operation of the trigger switch to be turned to the on-position and held in the on-position, while the trigger switch is returned to the off-position when the trigger switch is released and a second mode in which, when the depressing operation of the trigger switch is continued, the trigger switch is held in the on-position, and the internal switch is released from interlock with the trigger switch and is held in the on-position for a predetermined period of time in the working stroke and then returned to the off-position, while the trigger switch is returned to the off-position when the trigger switch is released.

Power tool

It is an object of the invention to provide an effective technique for achieving a smooth driving operation with a driving power tool for driving a driving material into a workpiece. A representative driving power tool for driving a driving material into a workpiece is provided with a coil spring, an operating member. The power tool fixer includes a rotating element that rotates in a normal direction it the spring force of the coil spring as the drive member drives the coil spring, an outer edge of the rotating element, an engaging member and a lock avoiding mechanism. The outer edge includes a first outer edge portion and a second outer edge portion, a first vertical wall and a second vertical wall. The engaging member defines a working stroke of the driving operation. The lock avoiding mechanism avoids the engaging member from being locked to the second vertical wall by the spring force of the coil spring being transmitted to the engaging member via the second vertical wall in the process in which the engaging member moves inward in the radial direction of the rotating element toward the second outer edge portion via the second vertical wall.

A cutting tool that improves operability by facilitating operation of a lever for operating a clamp mechanism of a guide member is provided. A clamp mechanism is constituted by a clamp pin that protrudes its distal end to the outside of the blade case while penetrating a depth guide and the blade case, a first lever that is connected to the distal end of the clamp pin and directly moves the clamp pin in the axial direction, and a second lever that is connected to the upper portion of the first lever through a connecting pin and has a cam lever. When the second lever is rotated toward the blade case, the cam lever presses the connecting pin to tilt the first lever, whereby the clamp pin is pulled outward. As a result, the depth guide is pressed to the inner surface of the blade case and clamped.

Electric stapler

A pneumatic tool, such as a nailer, includes a housing, a cylinder disposed within the housing, and a piston slidably movable within the cylinder. The piston has a driver for driving fasteners, such as nails. An upper piston chamber and a lower piston chamber are defined within the cylinder on an upper side and a lower side of the piston, respectively. A control device is provided for controlling the supply of compressed air from a compressed air supply device to the upper piston chamber and to the lower piston chamber to drive the fasteners into a workpiece. The control device includes a variable pressure chamber and a valve. The variable pressure chamber is always connected to the compressed air supply device. The valve is operable to connect and disconnect the variable pressure chamber and the lower piston chamber in response to the position of the piston relative to the cylinder. A device is provided to maintain a predetermined volume in the variable pressure chamber, irrespective of the operation of the control device.

A fastener driving device includes a body, a driver guide extending downwardly from the body for driving fasteners by a driver, a first abutting member mounted on the driver guide and having a first reference surface for abutment on an edge of a work to be fixed, and a second abutting member having a second reference surface for abutment on an edge of another work which has been previously fixed. An adjusting mechanism is provided for adjusting the position of the second abutting member relative to the first abutting member. The adjusting mechanism includes a support member mounted on the body and supporting the second abutting member in such a manner that the second abutting member is slidably movable along a direction substantially perpendicular to a longitudinal direction of the driver guide. A tightening mechanism is operable for fixing the position of the second abutting member and for permitting movement of the second abutting member. An operation member is provided for operation of the tightening mechanism.
