The present invention has a normal blood pressure measurement mode in which a blood pressure measurement is performed according to a blood pressure measurement instruction, and a nighttime blood pressure measurement mode in which a blood pressure measurement is automatically started according to a predetermined schedule. When being switched by an mode operation unit from the normal blood pressure measurement mode to the nighttime blood pressure measurement mode, an algorithm for blood pressure calculation by an oscillometric method is switched and set from an algorithm for a sitting position to an algorithm for a supine position. A blood pressure value is calculated using an algorithm currently set for the blood pressure calculation by the oscillometric method.

Sphygmomanometer, blood pressure calculation method, and computer-readable recording medium

A sphygmomanometer includes a frame that spatially demarcates a region in which a display screen is displayed. On the display screen, a scale indication for making a value of pressure readable is displayed along one direction. On the display screen, a mark that represents a pressure of a cuff by a position of the mark with respect to the scale indication is displayed. When the pressure changes, a display control unit performs control to slide the scale indication with respect to the frame along the one direction at a slide speed corresponding to a predetermined pressure change rate or a pressure change rate obtained by actual measurement in a pressurizing process or a depressurizing process of the cuff so that the mark falls within the frame.

Sphygmomanometer

A blood pressure measuring cuff according to the present invention includes a pressing cuff which is belt-shaped, is wrapped around a part to be measured, and receives supply of a pressurizing fluid to press the part to be measured. An arterial pressure sensor for detecting pressure applied to an artery passing portion of the part to be measured by the pressing cuff is disposed at a portion of an inner peripheral surface of the pressing cuff which should face an artery of the part to be measured, separately from the pressing cuff.

Blood pressure measuring cuff and sphygmomanometer

The instrument according to the present invention includes a band-like belt worn around a wrist, and a main body disposed at a portion of the belt corresponding to the volar surface or the dorsal surface of the wrist. An element for executing a blood pressure measuring function is mounted in the main body. A battery for supplying electric power to the element mounted in the main body is disposed at a portion of the belt located away from the main body in the circumferential direction around the wrist. A wire is provided in the belt, extends in the circumferential direction along the fluid bag, and electrically connects the element mounted in the main body and the battery. In the belt, the wire is disposed away from the fluid bag in the width direction perpendicular to the circumferential direction and extends along an edge section of the belt.

Instrument having a blood pressure measuring function

A sensor assembly of the present invention includes a fluid chamber. A pressure transmitting fluid disposed facing an artery passing portion of a part to be measured via a film which forms a part of an outer wall of the fluid chamber is accommodated in the fluid chamber. A pressure sensor is provided for detecting pressure of the pressure transmitting fluid as pressure applied to the artery passing portion of the part to be measured. Plate members each having a flat shape along a longitudinal direction of a wrist as the part to be measured are disposed on a side opposite to the part to be measured along the film.

An electronic sphygmomanometer includes a cuff including an air bladder, a pressure sensor, an artery volume sensor, and a computation device. The computation device includes an inner pressure control section, a volume sensor signal receive section for receiving a pulse wave signal detected by the artery volume sensor, a pressure sensor signal receive section for receiving a pressure pulse wave signal superimposed on the inner pressure of the air bladder and detected by the pressure sensor, a judgment section for choosing either the pulse wave signal or the pressure pulse wave signal as a signal for calculating pulse rate of the patient during a period when the inner pressure of the air bladder is increased and/or decreased by the inner pressure control section, and a pulse rate calculation section for calculating pulse rate of the patient based on the pulse wave signal and the signal chosen by the judgment section.

Electronic sphygmomanometer for measuring blood pressure and pulse

A cuff of a blood pressure measurement device compresses a measurement site by being wrapped therearound. A control unit evaluates the wrapping strength of the cuff, by comparing a detection amount detected based on the output of a sensor with a history of the detection amount stored in the storage unit.

Blood pressure measurement device including wrapping strength evaluation capabilities

A blood pressure and pulse measurement device includes a cuff including a first air bladder, a pressure sensor, a pressing member, a pulse wave sensor, and an operation unit. When measurement of the blood pressure is instructed by the operation unit, the first air bladder of the cuff is inflated to increase inner pressure to a sufficient level such that the blood pressure of the patient can be measured by the pressure sensor and then deflated. When measurement of the blood pressure is not instructed by the operation unit, air of the first air bladder of the cuff is released such that the measurement location of the patient is not substantially pressed by the first air bladder, and the measurement location of the patient is pressed by the pressing member with sufficient pressure such that pulse of the patient can be detected by the pulse wave sensor.

A blood pressure information measurement device cuff includes a wide blood pressure value measurement air bladder wrapped around a fitting area when in a fitted state, and a narrow pulse wave measurement air bladder disposed so as to be closer to the fitting area than the blood pressure value measurement air bladder when in the fitted state, and covered by the blood pressure value measurement air bladder when wrapped around the fitting area. The pulse wave measurement air bladder includes an anchored portion anchored to the blood pressure value measurement air bladder so as to be immobile relative to the blood pressure value measurement air bladder and a mobile portion that is not anchored to the blood pressure value measurement air bladder so as to be mobile relative to the blood pressure value measurement air bladder along a wrapping direction in which the cuff is wrapped around the measurement area.

Blood pressure information measurement device cuff and blood pressure information measurement device provided therewith

A blood pressure measurement device includes a cuff and a control unit. The cuff includes a first securing portion, provided on one surface of the cuff, for securing the cuff to the measurement area in a wrapped state, and a second securing portion, provided on another surface of the cuff, for securing the cuff to the measurement area in a wrapped state. At least one of the first securing portion and the second securing portion includes an electromagnet portion. The control unit secures the cuff to the measurement area by controlling a magnetic force emitted from the electromagnet portion and causing the second securing portion to be attracted to the first securing portion.

A cuff includes a fluid bladder, an outer cover that contains the fluid bladder toward one end portion, a surface fastener, and another surface fastener. The outer cover includes, in an area of the outer cover that includes a region in which the other surface fastener is provided, a first wide portion in which the width of the outer cover is greater than a width of an area of the outer cover that includes a region in which the surface fastener is provided. In a sphygmomanometer, a value representing a perimeter of a measuring portion is obtained. A parameter for controlling a drive voltage of a pump is determined based on the value. The drive voltage is determined based on the parameter and an internal pressure of a fluid bladder to pressurize the fluid bladder. In pressurizing process, a diastolic blood pressure value is calculated. A systolic blood pressure value is estimated, and when the internal pressure of the fluid bladder reaches the pressure, the pressurizing is stopped. A gap of a valve for discharging the fluid from the fluid bladder is determined based on a perimeter of a measuring portion, and the fluid bladder is depressurized with the gap constant. In the depressurizing process, the systolic blood pressure value is calculated. When the systolic blood pressure value is calculated, the fluid is discharged from the fluid bladder, and the measurement is terminated.

A blood pressure measurement device includes a measurement air bladder for being wrapped around a body part to be measured, a compression member that compresses the measurement air bladder from the outside of the measurement air bladder against the body part to be measured; an inflation member for inflating the measurement air bladder, a deflation member for deflating the measurement air bladder, a blood pressure determination unit that determines a blood pressure during the inflation by the inflation member or during the deflation by the deflation member, and a control unit that causes the compression member to apply a pressure that is higher than or equal to an atmospheric pressure to the measurement air bladder when an internal pressure of the measurement air bladder reaches or falls below a certain pressure due to the deflation by the deflation member.

A blood pressure measurement device corrects the error caused by blood congestion. The device includes a blood pressure measurement section that calculates a blood pressure value of a patient based on the cuff pressure and pulse waves detected by a pressure sensor, a blood congestion determination section that determines a degree of blood congestion that occurred at a peripheral side of the measurement location due to the cuff pressure on the measurement location in accordance with a predetermined method, a blood pressure correction section that calculates a corrected blood pressure value based on the degree of the blood congestion, and a display that displays the corrected blood pressure value.

A blood pressure measurement device measures blood pressure and a blood pressure change affecting factor of a patient. The device includes a memory, a tolerance determination section, and a display unit. The tolerance determination section includes a rest/unrest condition determination section and a blood pressure tolerance determination section. The tolerance determination section determines whether the blood pressure of the patient is tolerant to the blood pressure change affecting factor. The display unit of the device displays the measured blood pressure, the measured blood pressure change affecting factor, and a tolerance determination of the patient.
