A lens barrel includes a lens barrel body, an imaging optical system, a focus ring, a diaphragm operation ring, and a sensor. The sensor includes a code board and first and second contact brushes. The code board is provided on the inner peripheral side of the diaphragm operation ring. The first and second contact brushes are provided on the outer peripheral side of the lens barrel body, and include a plurality of conductive contacts sliding on the code board in accordance with the rotation of the diaphragm operation ring. Signals are acquired from the conductive contacts of the first and second contact brushes and the rotational position of the diaphragm operation ring is detected.

A lens barrel includes an imaging optical system, a diaphragm operation ring, and click-stop mechanisms. The click-stop mechanism includes a first spherical body, first fitting portions, and a first biasing member. The click-stop mechanism includes a second spherical body, second fitting portions, and a second biasing member. The first spherical body is fitted to the first fitting portion in a case in which the diaphragm operation ring is set to a position corresponding to main series. The second spherical body is fitted to the second fitting portion in a case in which the diaphragm operation ring is set to a position corresponding to subordinate series.

There is provided a lens barrel that can easily and reliably prevent an erroneous operation at the time of switching of a manual focus mode. A lens barrel body houses an imaging optical system including a focus lens. A focus operation ring rotates integrally with a first connection ring about an optical axis of the imaging optical system. A second connection ring is movable between an engagement position at which the second connection ring is engaged with the first connection ring and a cam ring and a disengagement position at which the second connection ring is not engaged with both of the first connection ring and the cam ring. A switching-operation ring is movable between a rotation-restriction position at which the switching-operation ring moves the second connection ring to the engagement position and a rotation-allowable position at which the switching-operation ring moves the second connection ring to the disengagement position.

An object of the invention is to provide a camera body of which a manual focus mode can be easily switched. A lens barrel includes an imaging optical system, a first operation ring, a second operation ring, and first and second sensors. The first sensor detects the rotation of the first operation ring and the rotation angle and the rotational direction of the first operation ring. The second sensor detects the angular position of the second operation ring. The imaging optical system includes a focus lens. A camera body includes a body control unit. The body control unit selectively executes a first manual focus mode in which the focus lens is moved according to the rotational direction and the rotation angle detected by the first sensor and a second manual focus mode in which the focus lens is moved according to the angular position detected by the second sensor.

A digital camera generates principal image data of a predetermined size and backup image data of a maximum size, and records the principal image data and the backup image data in a memory card and an internal memory respectively. In a resize processing in a replay mode, if the backup image data corresponding to the principal image data has been recorded, and a designated size is larger than the principal image data, a resize processing section reads the backup image data from the internal memory and performs the resize processing to the backup image data.

The present invention provides a low-profile printer.  The printer has a claw installed on a plane which face an exposure surface of an instant film sheet, a single-rotation cam which completes a sequence of operations, and a three-rotation cam which rotates three times while the single-rotation cam makes a single rotation. The claw is equipped with a holding section which extends to the rear end, in the transport direction, of one of instant film sheets and holds the rear end of the instant film sheet. The raking motion of the claw is caused by the three-rotation cam.

The present invention provides an image recording apparatus which has a pack compartment to be loaded with an instant film pack containing multiple instant film sheets stacked together and records images on the instant film sheets contained in the instant film pack loaded into the pack compartment while transporting the instant film sheets. The pack compartment has receiving surfaces projecting into the pack compartment and support the instant film pack loaded into the pack compartment. The receiving surfaces support the instant film pack while keeping the instant film pack tilted by making the respective amounts of projection thereof mutually different.

An image recording apparatus has a pack chamber loaded with an instant film pack which stores by stacking plural pieces of instant film sheets having an image recording section which is exposed and subjected to spreading of a developer to record an image and a developer pool provided on a front end side in a carrying direction from the image recording section, and that carries the instant film sheets stored in the instant film pack loaded in the pack chamber and that performs recording of the image on the instant film sheets, the image recording apparatus comprising: carrying rollers; an exposure section; developing rollers; a carrying roller holding section; and a developing roller holding section.

The present invention provides a camera comprising such a function for self-photographing that a self-photographer cannot only determine whether or not he or she is within the angle of view but can also determine his or her position within the angle of view more accurately than in the prior art. The present invention provides a camera that photographs a subject present within a photographing angle of view, according to a photographing operation, the camera comprising an indicator, and an optical path regulating member that allows, during self-photographing, a photographer to view the indicator with information on the photographer's own position within the photographing angle of view.

In a zoom lens device of the present invention, an aperture at a predetermined zooming step that is other than a telephoto end and a wide-angle end is smaller than apertures at the other zooming steps, and the predetermined zooming step is used only when a macro shooting mode is chosen. In the present invention, the predetermined zooming step between the telephoto end and the wide-angle end is set only for the macro shooting mode, and the aperture in the macro shooting mode is small enough to make the field depth large. Therefore, the simple and inexpensive lens device can perform the macro shooting.

Camera

A camera has a movable lens barrel that is stowed in a camera body while the camera is inactive, and is protruded from the camera body to a near range focusing position or a far range focusing position by rotating a drive ring in one direction. The movable barrel returns to the stowed position by rotating the drive ring further in the same direction, because of a cam mechanism interconnecting the drive ring with the movable barrel. To rotate the drive ring, a rotational power of a motor in a first direction is transmitted to the drive ring through a clutch mechanism. The clutch mechanism is switched over according to the rotational direction of the motor and transmits a rotational power of the motor in a second direction to another mechanism. A controller controls driving the motor in response to signals entered through manually operated members, including a power switch, a shutter button and a zone selector, with reference to detection signals from a barrel position detector.

A field frame for use with a finder which provides arbitrary or stepwise switches of an aspect ratio of the finder. The field frame is made up of a standard field frame, a first L-shaped field switch frame having a dowel pin and two elongated holes, and a second L-shaped field switch frame having a dowel pin and two elongated holes. These two L-shaped field switch frames are piled up one on top of the other in such a manner that dowel pins standing on the main body of the standard field frame fit into the laminated elongated holes of the L-shaped field switch frames. A driving wheel having engaging cutouts is also laminated on the L-shaped field switch frames so that the engaging cutouts can engage with the dowel pins of the field switch frames. The driving wheel is also provided with a lever. The clockwise rotation of the driving wheel causes the field switch frames to conceal the right and left edges of the standard field frame, whilst the counterclockwise rotation of the driving wheel causes the field switch frames to conceal the upper and lower edges of the standard field frame.
