A fan includes a plurality of blade portions arranged spaced apart from each other in a circumferential direction, each blade portion having a blade surface including a pressure surface disposed on a rotational direction side of the fan and a suction surface disposed on a back side of the pressure surface. The plurality of blade portions include a first blade portion and a second blade portion different from each other in at least one of an outer peripheral blade tip angle and an inner peripheral blade tip angle, and are provided such that a discrepancy angle is equal among a plurality of the blade portion.

A fan includes a plurality of blade portions arranged spaced apart from each other in a circumferential direction, each blade portion having a blade surface including a pressure surface disposed on a rotational direction side of the fan and a suction surface disposed on a back side of said pressure surface. The plurality of the blade portions include a first blade portion and a second blade portion in which when they are rotated around the rotation axis of the fan and overlapped on one blade portion, one of an inner edge portion and an outer edge portion is disposed to be coincident with each other, and the other of the inner edge portion and the outer edge portion is disposed to be displaced from each other.

A cross-flow fan includes a plurality of fan blades provided to be circumferentially spaced apart from each other. The fan blade has an inner edge portion arranged on the radially inner side to/from which air flows in/out, and an outer edge portion arranged on the radially outer side to/from which air flows in/out. Fan blade has a blade surface extending between the inner edge portion and the outer edge portion. A centrifugal fan includes a plurality of fan blades circumferentially spaced apart from each other. The fan blade has a front edge portion to which air flows in a rear edge portion from which air flows out, and a blade surface extending between the front and rear edge portions. The blade surface includes a pressure surface on the rotation direction side of the centrifugal fan and a suction surface arranged on the back side of the pressure surface. The fan blade has a cross-sectional shape with concave portions formed at the pressure surface and the suction surface. Such a fan has an excellent blowing capacity. A molding die for use in production of the centrifugal fan, and a fluid feeder provided with the centrifugal fan are disclosed.

A cross-flow fan includes a plurality of fan blades. The fan blade has an inner edge portion arranged on an inner circumferential side and an outer edge portion arranged on an outer circumferential side. In the fan blade, a blade surface extending between the inner edge portion and the outer edge portion is formed. As the fan rotates, an air flow which flows between the inner edge portion and the outer edge portion is generated over the blade surface. The fan blade has such a blade cross-sectional shape that a recess is formed in the blade surface. The recess is arranged at a position closer to the outer edge portion than to the inner edge portion and formed to extend from one end to the other end of the fan blade in a direction of a rotation axis of the fan.

A cross-flow fan includes a plurality of fan blades. The fan blade has an inner edge portion arranged on an inner circumferential side and an outer edge portion arranged on an outer circumferential side. In the fan blade, a blade surface extending between the inner edge portion and the outer edge portion and constituted of a positive pressure surface and a negative pressure surface is formed. The fan blade has such a blade cross-sectional shape that a large-thickness portion at which a thickness between the positive pressure surface and the negative pressure surface is greatest is arranged closer to the inner edge portion. A recess recessed in the blade surface is formed at a position closer to the inner edge portion where the large-thickness portion is arranged, than to the outer edge portion.

In cross-flow fan, (N) representing number of fan blades, a chord length (L) and outer diameter (D) of fan blades, and (M) representing number of blade wheels meet the relationships expressed by of 0.6&#x2266;L/(&#x3c0;D/N)&#x2266;2.8 and 0.15&#x2266;&#x3c0;D/(N&#xd7;M)&#x2266;3.77. A plurality of blade wheels are stacked on each other in a manner that a displacement angle (&#x3b8;) is generated within the range of (1.2&#xd7;360&#xb0;/(N&#xd7;M))&#x2266;&#x3b8;&#x2266;(360&#xb0;/N) between adjacent blade wheels. The displacement angle (&#x3b8;) is set so that the overlapping number of fan blades having an equal installation angle is at most 5% of N&#xd7;M representing a total number of fan blades. The present invention can provide a cross-flow fan that can succeed in noise reduction, a molding die used to produce the cross-flow fan, and a fluid feeder equipped with the cross-flow fan.

A centrifugal fan includes a plurality of fan blades arranged spaced apart from each other in a circumferential direction. The fan blade has an inner edge portion disposed on an inner peripheral side and an outer edge portion disposed on an outer peripheral side. The fan blade has a blade surface including a pressure surface and a suction surface. When cut along a plane orthogonal to a rotation axis of the fan, the fan blade has a blade cross section having concave portions formed at the pressure surface and the suction surface. A plurality of fan blades include fan blades having blade cross sections of different shapes. With such a configuration, the fan has an excellent air-blowing capacity while preventing noise. A molding die for use in production of the fan and a fluid feeder including the fan are also provided.

An air conditioner includes: an air passage extending from a suction port to a blowout port, a heat exchanger at the upstream side of the air passage, a cross flow fan in the air passage on the downstream side of the heat exchanger, and an air passage wall provided in a downstream area of the cross flow fan to reach the blowout port. A restricting section that restricts an air passage sectional area is provided at a corner section of the side wall of the air passage wall. The restricting section has a shape by which the air passage sectional area has a rectangular cross section expanding from the upstream side to the downstream side and is restricted to reduce an enlargement ratio of the air passage sectional area. Further, the restricting section has a smooth restricting surface crossing the corner section of the cross section of the air passage.

A blade surface extends between the inner edge portion and the outer edge portion. In cross-section orthogonal to the rotation axis of the fan, the fan blade has a concave portions formed at the pressure surface and the suction surface. A plurality of concave portions are formed at pressure surface. Side fan provides excellent blowing capacity. Also disclosed are a molding die for use in production of the cross-flow fan, and a fluid feeder provided with the cross-flow fan.

A heat exchanging system () comprises a heat exchanger () including a tube () through which a first fluid flows and a plurality of fins () made from thin plates attached to the tube () and arranged parallel to each other in the direction along which the tube () extends, and a fan () for introducing a second fluid between the fins (). The fin () includes concave parts () and convex parts () continuously and cyclically formed in a zigzag line. The concave parts () and the convex parts () are so arranged as to extend in the direction crossing the flow direction of the second fluid flowing between the fins (), and the flow of the second fluid flowing between the fins () is made to be cyclically variable.
