A semiconductor device for protecting loads from power surges includes a first resistor having a first end connected to a first supply terminal, a capacitor connected to a second end of the first resistor and a second supply terminal. There is a first transistor with a source connected to the first supply terminal and a gate connected to a point between the first resistor and the capacitor. A second resistor is connected between the drain of the first transistor and the second supply terminal, and a first diode is connected between the gate and the source of the first transistor. A second transistor has a drain connected to the first supply terminal, a source connected to the second supply terminal, and a gate connected to the drain of the first transistor. There is a second diode connected between the gate and the source of the second transistor.

Cage for roller bearing

A four-row cylindrical roller bearing is incorporated into between the inner peripheral surface of a housing and the outer peripheral surface of a backup roller. A sensor unitis held in a portion of a collar disposed in the axial-direction end portion of the four-row cylindrical roller bearing. The sensor unit comprises a detect part for detecting temperatures and vibrations and a transmitter device for transmitting signals, which are obtained after output signals taken out from the detect part are processed, as radio signals. On a portion of a hold cover which is a separate member from the collar, there is disposed a receive antenna which is part of a receiver apparatus for receiving the radio signals transmitted by the transmitter device.

Into a raceway groove formed between outer and inner races, there are incorporated a plurality of rolling elements of which outside diameters serving as the rolling contact surfaces thereof each has a curvature in the axial direction as well and also each of which has a radius smaller than the radius of the raceway surfaces of the outer and inner races. A receiving apparatus with intermittent receiving for receiving a TDMA SIG is disclosed. The receiving apparatus receives a FRQ reference SIG to control a voltage controlled OSC for generating a system clock and receives a TDMA synchronizing SIG to control the phase of a TDMA timing SIG to establish the reference FRQ synchronizing and the TDMA synchronizing. To save a power consumption in the sleep interval during the intermittent receiving, it is stopped to supply a supply power to a d/a converter supplied with the FRQ control data to supply a FRQ control voltage to the voltage controlled OSC. Just before an intermittent receiving interval, that is, the end of the sleep mode, the supply power to the d/a converter is supplied and the TDMA timing is compensated by calculation from the sleeping interval and the FRQ of the self-oscillation of the voltage controlled OSC. The TDMA timing may be not compensated but receives the TDMA synchronizing SIG to control the TDMA synchronizing if the phase difference in the TDMA timing is within the range of the correlator. The FRQ reference SIG may be received to compensate the FRQ and phase of the system clock and the TDMA synchronizing timing may be compensated by calculation from the sleeping interval and the FRQ of the self-oscillation of the voltage controlled OSC.

Receiving apparatus with intermittent receiving

A telephone apparatus is disclosed which includes a communication circuit (,) including a microphone (,) and a speaker (,) for providing communication between an operator and a network and outputting sound data from the sound receiving unit and the network; a memory card receiving unit (,); a memory card detector (,); a memory (,) for storing the sound data; a control circuit (,) responsive to the memory card detector and a recording command for storing the sound data in the memory and reading the sound data from the memory only when the memory card is received by the memory card receiving unit. The memory card stores an ID code and the control circuit registers the identification code on recording. When playing is commanded the control circuit inhibits Playing when the ID from the memory card disagrees with any of registered ID codes. When there is no space in the memory, the control circuit writes the sound data over the sound data only when the ID code from the memory card agrees with one of the registered ID codes. The telephone apparatus further includes a serial interface (,) for storing the sound data in the memory in the memory card.

Circumferential grooves 6c and 6d are respectively formed in the outer peripheral surface 6a and inner peripheral surface 6b of a floating ring 6, and the circumferential groove 6d is used to form a lubricant feed portion 8 in a clearance 7 between the outer peripheral surface 1a of an inner race 1 and itself, while the circumferential groove 6c is used to form another lubricant feed portion 8 in another clearance 7 between the inner peripheral surface 5b of a cage 5 and itself, thereby being able to improve lubricating conditions between the two respective partner portions.

The 2nd switch provides a playback from the voice SIG from the network directly and from the memory circuit. The 2nd telephone apparatus may further comprise a frame condition detector for detecting a frame condition, a data adder for adding data indicative of the frame condition to reception SIG, and a memory control circuit. The memory control circuit inhibits recording according to the frame condition.
