There is provided a semiconductor apparatus including a memory controller; a CPU; a high-speed communication controller; a memory operation terminal group that includes a plurality of memory operation terminals for inputting a first signal propagating between an external memory group and the memory controller; a high-speed communication terminal group that includes a plurality of high-speed communication terminals for inputting a second signal to the high-speed communication controller; an inspection terminal group that includes a plurality of inspection terminals for acquiring information from the CPU and performing debugging; and a terminal mounting surface at which the memory operation terminal group, the high-speed communication terminal group, and the inspection terminal group are provided, in which at the terminal mounting surface, a first inspection terminal among the plurality of inspection terminals is located between the memory operation terminal group and the high-speed communication terminal group.

There is provided a semiconductor apparatus including a memory operation terminal group that includes a plurality of memory operation terminals; an inspection terminal group that includes a plurality of inspection terminals; a constant voltage terminal group that includes a plurality of constant voltage terminals; a drive terminal group that includes a plurality of drive terminals, the inspection terminal group, and the constant voltage terminal group, and of which voltage values change in accordance with an operation of a CPU; and a terminal mounting surface, in which at the terminal mounting surface, the inspection terminal group and the constant voltage terminal group are located to separate the memory operation terminal group and the drive terminal group, and the memory operation terminal group is located not to be adjacent to a terminal which is not included in the inspection terminal group and the constant voltage terminal group.

An electronic device includes a main circuit including a processor, a sub circuit that transits between a first state and a second state, and a power supply circuit that supplies electric power to the main circuit and the sub circuit. An electrical distance between the main circuit and the power supply circuit is shorter than an electrical distance between the main circuit and the sub circuit. When the processor determines to cause the sub circuit to transit from the second state to the first state, the processor increases electric power supplied from the power supply circuit to the sub circuit. The sub circuit transits from the second state to the first state in response to increase of the electric power supplied from the power supply circuit.

A scanner unit changes a first wire included in a pair of wires in Low condition into High condition, sets another second wire in Low condition during the change, and identifies whether a CISM coupled with a resistor is or a CISM coupled with no resistor is by inputting a signal from the second wire afterward. Further, the controller changes the first wire in High condition into Low condition, sets the second wire in High condition during the change, and identifies the CISM by inputting a signal from the second wire. The scanner unit sets the second wire in condition before being changed while changing condition of the first wire so as to prevent an effect of a signal (crosstalk) caused when the condition of the first wire is changed more effectively.

A communication apparatus which is connected to an information processing apparatus so as to operate dependent on the information processing apparatus and connects the information processing apparatus and an external apparatus, includes a judgment unit which judges instruction information transmitted from the external apparatus, a storage unit which stores the instruction information, a transmission unit which detects whether the information processing apparatus is in a normal state in which power is consumed normally or a power-saving state in which power consumption is reduced, and transmits the instruction information stored by the storage unit to the information processing apparatus when the information processing apparatus is in the normal state, and a switching unit which switches the communication apparatus to the normal state if the judgment unit judges that the instruction information is an instruction for directing the operation when the communication apparatus is in the power-saving state.

A system having a power saving mode includes: a body provided with an original table having a surface for putting an original; an original cover coupled to the original table so that the original cover can be opened and closed to cover at least the surface of the original table; a light source that emits a beam; a power source that supplies power to the light source; a cover opening/closing detector that detects that the original cover is opened/closed; and a power source controller that controls the power source so that the power saving mode is released when the cover opening/closing detector detects that the original cover is closed during the power saving mode.

A white reference image is inputted to an image sensor with a light source lit up, and white reference data is set every effective photosensor element by inspecting the output signals of the image sensor as to the white reference image (steps Sand S). After the input of the white reference image, the light source is extinguished (point e in FIG.), a black reference image is inputted to the image sensor (step S), and black reference data is set every effective photosensor element by inspecting the output signals of the image sensor as to the black reference image (step S). After the light source is lit up (point f in FIG.), the optical image of a subject is inputted to the image sensor, and image data outputted to shading corrections with the white reference data and the black reference data are outputted (step S)

By performing preliminary scanning, a document identification unit determines whether a document is a dark document, such as a negative film, that requires excess exposure, or an ordinary document that does not require excess exposure. When it is determined that the document does not require excess exposure, an exposure time setting unit sets an exposure time for a line sensor. Then, in consonance with the designated exposure time, the line sensor initiates the reading of a black reference. Thereafter, in accordance with an excess exposure time that is designated, a black reference data preparation unit prepares black reference data. Since the black reference is read during the same period as the excess exposure time and the black reference data is prepared, the detailed tones of the dark portion of the document can be expressed, and the quality of the image can be improved.

A light source is turned off (S), incidence of light on a line sensor is shut off, and the output value of an electric signal output from each of pixels of the line sensor (S). Since the output value is detected 128 times (S), random noise can be reduced equal to or less than the variation in the output values for each pixel of the line sensor. The output values detected by a detection section are added up by an average value difference calculation section (S). The sum total of the output values is divided by the number of detection times (S) to calculate the average value of the output values (S). The average value difference calculation section calculates the difference between a setup value and the average value as an average value difference (S) and the average value difference is stored in black reference memory for each pixel (S). The average value difference is stored in the black reference memory, so that the storage capacity can be decreased as compared with the case where black reference data itself is stored.
