A light emitting device includes a light source and a waveguide structure. The light source emits light having a directionality. The waveguide structure includes an optical waveguide and an exterior part. The optical waveguide has an incident end surface and an emission end surface, converts a wavelength of the light incident from the incident end surface, and emits the light from the emission end surface. The exterior part is optically transparent and covers the optical waveguide such that the incident end surface and the emission end surface are exposed from the exterior part. The optical waveguide is elongated in a length direction. The length direction of the optical waveguide is inclined at a predetermined angle with respect to an optical axis of the light in a predetermined plane including the length direction of the optical waveguide and the optical axis of the light. The predetermined angle is set to allow the light to propagate in the optical waveguide with total internal reflection at a boundary surface between the optical waveguide and the exterior part.

Light emitting device, manufacturing method therefor, and waveguide structure

A motor includes a rotor and a stator. The stator is formed by laminating a plurality of magnetic thin strips each having a plurality of teeth parts. The magnetic thin strip includes an elliptical-shaped inner diameter part formed along tip end portions of the plural teeth parts. At least one magnetic thin strip in the laminated magnetic thin strips is shifted by a given angle with respect to other magnetic thin strips in a horizontal direction, and positions of all teeth parts of the laminated magnetic thin strips correspond to one another to reduce cogging torque.

Stator and motor

A method for producing a magnetic core includes a processing step of giving a desired shape to a strip made of an alloy composition, a heat-treating step of forming bcc-Fe crystals, and then a stacking step of obtaining a magnetic core having a shape. Here, the alloy composition is Fe&#x2014;B&#x2014;Si&#x2014;P&#x2014;Cu&#x2014;C and has an amorphous phase as a primary phase. In the heat-treating step, the strip is heated up to a temperature higher than a crystallization temperature of the alloy composition at a high heating rate.

Method for producing laminated magnetic core

A laminated member as a laminate of a plurality of alloy ribbons is used. The laminated member has a side surface with a fracture surface. A laminated body as a laminate of the laminated member is used. A motor that includes a core using the laminated body is used. A method for manufacturing a laminated member is used that includes: fixing a plurality of amorphous ribbons to one another in a part of layers of the amorphous ribbons after laminating the amorphous ribbons; and punching a laminated member by cutting the laminate of the amorphous ribbons at a location that excludes the portion fixing the amorphous ribbons in the laminate.

An iron core including a laminate of a plurality of fixed electromagnetic steel sheets, a laminate of alloy thin strips which is sandwiched between the laminate of the electromagnetic steel sheets, a fastening mechanism which penetrates the laminates of electromagnetic steel sheets and alloy thin strips, and a fixing base. The laminate of alloy thin strips reduces compressive and torsional forces acting on the laminate of alloy thin strips by using the iron core having a structure in which upper and lower portions of a laminate of alloy thin strips having nanocrystal grains are sandwiched together with laminates of amorphous alloy thin strips. Furthermore, a motor including a rotor and the above-described iron core is used.

An iron core including a laminate in which a plurality of nanocrystal thin strips are laminated, a board, and a fastener that fastens the laminate and the board, in which at least one of upper and lower surfaces of the laminate has a colored oxide film and an uncolored oxide film is used. Moreover, the iron core has a region of the colored oxide film wider than a region of the uncolored oxide film region is used. Furthermore, a motor uses the above-described iron core as a stator.

Provided is a magnetic plate laminate comprising a laminate formed by stacking a plurality of thin strips, and fastening members provided in apertures in the laminate. Also provided is a method for manufacturing a magnetic laminate wherein the thin strips are amorphous thin strips and the magnetic body laminate is subjected to heat treatment, thereby forming nano-crystalline grains in the thin strips. Also provided is a motor equipped with a stator formed by stacking a plurality of the magnetic plate laminates, a securing plate for securing the stator, and a rotor arranged in an opening in the middle of the stator.

A heat treatment apparatus for a laminated body of amorphous alloy ribbon includes: a lamination jig that holds the laminated body of amorphous alloy ribbon; two heating plates that sandwich the laminated body from upper and lower surfaces in a lamination direction without coming into contact with the lamination jig; and a heating control apparatus that controls a heating temperature of the two heating plates.

Heat treatment apparatus for laminated body of amorphous alloy ribbon and soft magnetic core

To provide an iron core and a motor for preventing reduction in motor drive efficiency. An iron core includes laminate section made up of a lamination of plural soft magnetic ribbons, fixed to metal substrate, and provided with winding, and fastening part that pressurizes laminate section in a lamination direction of soft magnetic ribbons. Also, the fastening part is disposed around an opening of through-hole that penetrates laminate section. Furthermore, a metal plate shaped so as not to cover winding section is provided between laminate section and fastening part. Besides, the motor includes a rotor and the iron core.

A magnetic-plate laminated body includes: a laminated part made up of a plurality of laminated soft magnetic ribbons; first and second metal plates that sandwich the laminated part from upper and lower surfaces in a lamination direction of the laminated part; and a fastening mechanism that penetrates the first and second metal plates and the laminated part and fastening the laminated part by the first and second metal plates.

Magnetic-plate laminated body and motor

An assembled battery has a battery block configured by stacking a plurality of single batteries, and fixing components fixing the plurality of the single batteries. The fixing components include a pair of end plates disposed at both ends in a stacked direction of the plurality of the single batteries, and a metal band making the plurality of the single batteries in a compressed state by coupling end parts of the pair of the end plates each other. Each of the pair of the end plates has a peripheral part and a central part. The pair of the end plates respectively contact both end single batteries located at both ends in the stacked direction at the peripheral parts, and are respectively separated from both end single batteries at the central parts.

Provided are a laser-bonded component and a production method for same that ensure sufficient bonding strength using little laser energy and which cause little increase in surrounding temperature. A nickel layer, being a surface layer, is formed having sufficient thickness on the upper surface of a copper plate that is uppermost amongst at least two superposed copper plates, a laser is irradiated from above the nickel layer, a re-solidification section formed by fusing and alloying the copper in the copper plates and the nickel in the nickel layer is formed through to inside the bottommost copper plate, and the copper plates are bonded together. The re-solidification section having high breaking strength is formed by the alloying of the nickel and the copper. As a result, the copper plates can be bonded with a small welding surface area and little laser energy.

A charging system includes battery pack and charger. During the charge of secondary battery, charge control unit controls charger so that the charger performs constant-current charge at a first charge current, and, when at least one of the following conditions is satisfied, switches the first charge current to a second charge current lower than the first charge current and continues the constant-current charge. The conditions include the condition that the SOC of secondary battery arrives at a threshold SOC value and the condition that the inter-terminal voltage of secondary battery arrives at a threshold inter-terminal voltage. In response to the degree of degradation of secondary battery, the charge control unit drops at least one of the threshold SOC value and the threshold inter-terminal voltage.

A cell block including a metal case including a plurality of pipe-shaped members and a plurality of single cells housed in each of the pipe-shaped members. Each of the pipe-shaped members is joined at joining surfaces, and the pipe-shaped members are joined and integrated. A member for housing single cells is provided, and the housing member is molded with a high degree of accuracy and is capable of being manufactured at low cost and in a simple manner.
