A quarter window attached to a door frame of a vehicle rear door includes a quarter window panel and a window frame. The quarter window panel is made of a synthetic resin material. The window frame includes a division bar and a sealing portion. The division bar is configured such that a glass run can be fitted to the division bar and a part of the division bar serves as a part of the sealing portion. The sealing portion is integrally coupled to the quarter window panel so as to extend along the periphery of a side of the quarter window panel that faces inside of the vehicle. A part of the sealing portion is capable of being fitted to the door frame. The quarter window panel and the window frame are integrally molded. The window frame is made of a synthetic resin having a high rigidity. A fixing portion for fixing the window frame to the door frame is integrally formed with the window frame.

Quarter window

The pillar structure includes a pillar (), a front outer garnish (), a triangular window (), and a shielding portion (). The pillar includes an outer panel () and an inner panel (). A flange portion () of the outer panel and a flange portion () of the inner panel are joined to each other so as to form a joint portion (). The front outer garnish is attached to the pillar so as to cover the outer panel. The triangular window is supported by the pillar. The shielding portion shields the joint portion, thereby making invisible the joint portion from the outside of the vehicle through the triangular window. The outer garnish and the triangular window are integrally molded, and the shielding portion is integrated with the front outer garnish. The joint portion is bent toward the inner panel or the outer panel.

Pillar structure of automobile

A door weather strip capable of surely closing a gap between a door of a motor vehicle and a door opening portion of a vehicle body while exhibiting excellent sealing properties with good appearance. The door weather strip includes a base portion for attachment to an outer periphery of the door, and a seal portion which is integrally formed with the base portion for contacting the door opening portion. The seal portion includes a main seal and a sub-seal which is provided on an outer side of the main seal. The sub-seal has a protrusion which protrudes from the base portion towards the door opening portion, and a tubular part having a generally triangular cross-section. One corner of the tubular part is integrally joined to the protrusion such that one wall which faces the one corner is located between the door and the door opening portion.

Door weather strip for motor vehicle

To a pair of link arms, portions of a fitting mechanism that can be engaged with each other in a vehicle width direction are formed. Further, hinge bases that hold both ends of the pair of link arms rotatably can fit together in the vehicle width direction. By this structure, when a load is applied onto a sliding door from the outside of the vehicle owing to a side collision or the like, and a force is applied onto the fitting mechanism and the pair of hinge bases in the vehicle width direction and in the vehicle vertical direction, the portions of the fitting mechanism and the pair of hinge bases fit together, and the movement of the link arms to the upper side in the vehicle vertical direction is regulated. Thereby, the pulling deformation of the sliding door to the inside of the vehicle body is suppressed.

Sliding door structure

An automobile door has a glass run corresponding to a glass door. The glass run includes a body portion, which has a bottom wall portion, and a vehicle interior side wall portion and a vehicle exterior side wall portion respectively extending from opposite ends of the bottom wall portion, and also includes a pair of seal lips which performs sealing between the door glass and the glass run. Furthermore, in a cross-sectionally substantially-U-shaped outer peripheral portion of the body portion, sponge rubber layers are provided in a predetermined range in a longitudinal direction of a cross-section of the vehicle interior side surface wall portion and a predetermined zone including a continuously connecting portion between the bottom wall portion and the inner outer side surface wall portion, respectively. An auxiliary lip is provided at a continuously connecting portion between the bottom wall portion and the vehicle interior side wall portion. Additionally, a sponge rubber layer is formed on a door glass facing surface of the bottom wall portion.

Glass run

An automobile comprises a carrier lock device associated with the spare tire carrier, a striker associated with a back door and engaged by the carrier lock device, and a carrier lock reinforcement supporting the striker firmly and fixed to the back door. The carrier lock reinforcement is secured to the inner panel part constituting the lower side part of the back door, and the carrier striker fixed to the reinforcement is passed through the outer panel of the back door and projects backwardly.
