A liquid-jet recording head provided with a liquid ejecting section comprising an orifice for ejecting a liquid to form its flying droplets and a liquid flow path communicating with the orifice and having as a portion of the constitution a heat action zone where thermal energy for forming said droplets acts on the liquid and with an electro-thermal transducer comprising at least one pair of opposing electrodes electrically connecting to a heat-generating resistance layer formed on a base plate and a heat generating part formed between the electrodes, characterized by having a protective layer composed of a first layer of an organic material and a second layer of an inorganic material which are laminated on the portion of the electrode under the liquid flow path in that order from the electrode side.

Liquid-jet recording head

An ink jet type recording apparatus is disclosed which comprises a carriage slide movable along a shaft, a recording head for jetting recording liquid in response to an electric signal, a subsidiary container for supplying the recording liquid to the recording head and a main container connected with the subsidiary container through a flexible supply line. The subsidiary container and recording head are mounted on the carriage. Supply of the recording liquid to the subsidiary container from the main container is carried out making use of the space under the shaft along which the carriage is slide moved.

Ink jet recording apparatus

An ink jet recording apparatus has a recording liquid container storing recording liquid therein, a recording head supplied with the recording liquid from the container and a carriage on which the recording head and the recording liquid container are mounted is provided with means for pouring the recording liquid into the recording liquid container.

An ink jet recording apparatus has a recording liquid container storing recording liquid therein, a recording head which is supplied with the recording liquid from the container and which discharges the recording liquid to effect printing on printing paper, and a carriage on which the recording head and the recording liquid container are mounted. The recording head is secured to the carriage. The apparatus further has a recording liquid supply member having one opening connected to the recording head. The other opening of the recording liquid supply member is tightly insertable into the recording liquid container. By inserting the recording liquid supply member into the recording liquid container, the recording liquid is supplied from the recording liquid container to the recording head through the recording liquid supply member.

There is an ink jet printer in which an electrostriction element is associated with at least a part of an ink chamber for causing ink emission from an ink nozzle connected to said ink chamber in response to a voltage applied to the electrostriction element. Said voltage is changed in response to the ambient temperature and made higher or lower respectively in a low or high temperature.

Ink jet printer with temperature compensation

An ink jet type recording apparatus is disclosed which includes a main tank containing recording liquid, a subsidiary tank receiving a supply of recording liquid from the main tank through a supply line, a recording head to which the recording liquid is fed from the subsidiary tank through a feeding pipe and a carriage carrying thereon the subsidiary tank and recording head. The recording liquid is supplied to the subsidiary tank from the main tank by a pumping pressure produced in the supply line when the carriage is running. The supply line is fixed at an optionally selected point in such manner than the segment of the supply line extending from the selected point to the subsidiary tank may swing move above the fixed point describing a circular arc in accordance with the running of the carriage.

Ink jet type recording apparatus

A liquid jet recording device is provided with a cleaning protective means for cleaning and protecting the orifice. This means is provided at a reset position lying at one end of the scanning shaft of the device.
