An information takeover system includes: a first board that includes a first control unit and a first storage unit storing first information about an air conditioning apparatus; and a second board that includes a second control unit and is connectable to the first board in an information exchangeable manner. The first control unit is configured to perform first control to transmit the first information to the second board with the first board and the second board connected to each other in the information exchangeable manner.

Takeover system for an air conditioning apparatus to transmit information from a first board to a second board

A remote control device includes a display unit, physical keys, and a control unit to control operations of the display unit and execute various processes in accordance with commands input via the physical keys. The display unit includes a setting item display area to display setting item information pertaining to configurable setting items, and a set state display area to display information pertaining to set state of the setting items. The physical keys include at least one function key and a separate set state change key. The control unit successively selects the setting items, causes the display unit to display the setting item information, and performs an increase or decrease of a numerical value, a stage change, or a mode change relating to the setting item. The number of function keys is smaller than the number of the setting item information displayed.

Remote control device

An air conditioner is installed in a target space. An operating state is switched based on a command sent from a portable communication terminal. The air conditioner includes a specific information storage component, a specific information notification component that gives notification of the specific information to the communication terminal, a command receiving component that receives the command sent from the communication terminal, and an actuator drive component that executes a switching control that switches action of an actuator based on the command received. The specific information includes identification information and operable period information that designates an operable period during which the operating state is switchable by the communication terminal. The actuator drive component does not execute the switching control in response to the command sent from the communication terminal for which the operable period designated in the operable period information of which notification was given has expired.

Air conditioner

A remote control for an air conditioner facilitates setting of various kinds of data without operation of a button. A remote control () includes an external communication unit () having an NFC circuit () and an NFC antenna (). The external communication unit () is capable of wirelessly communicating with an external apparatus even when a microcomputer () in the remote control () is not supplied with power (i.e., in a non-operating state). Hence, through the wireless communication between the external communication unit () of the remote control () and the external apparatus, the various kinds of data is forwarded from the external device to the remote control (), and stored in the remote control ().

Remote control for air conditioner and air conditioner provided with same

A remote control device configured communicate with an air conditioner or a heat pump includes a touch panel having an electrode unit, a liquid crystal display, and a casing accommodating the touch panel and the liquid crystal display. The casing has a back surface part and a front surface part. The liquid crystal display is disposed to overlap the touch panel as seen from a front surface part side. The electrode unit has a first electrode section to detect a touched position, and a second electrode section that may function as an antenna to perform wireless communication with another communication device. The first and second electrode sections are configured and arranged to be nearer to the front surface part than to the back surface part inside the casing, and to be disposed so as not to overlap with each other as seen from the front surface part side.

A ceiling embedded type air conditioner is embedded in a ceiling surface and includes an outlet that blows out air conditioned air toward an indoor space, and a louver capable of changing a blow-out vertical direction of the air conditioned air at the outlet. If a state in which a wind direction position of the louver is set so that it is oriented to a wind direction position continues for a first prescribed time or longer, then the louver is temporarily changed to a wind direction position more downward than the wind direction position, and once again changed to the wind direction position.
