A position detection device detects a position of a moving member moving backward and forward in a predetermined moving direction. The position detection device includes an exciting coil disposed along the moving member and extending in the moving direction, a detection coil that outputs a voltage corresponding to a position of a detection target portion moving with the moving member by means of a magnetic field generated by the exciting coil within a predetermined detection range in the moving direction, and a calculation unit that calculates the position of the moving member by the output voltage of the detection coil. The detection coil includes a pair of coil elements whose output voltage changes according to the position of the moving member, and phases of the output voltages of the pair of coil elements during movement of the moving member within the detection range differ from each other.

Position detection device

A position detection device configured to detect a position of a moving member that moves back and forth in a predetermined moving direction is provided with an exciting coil arranged to extend in the moving direction along the moving member, and a detection coil that, by an action of a magnetic field generated by the exciting coil, can detect a position, in the moving direction, of a detection object portion provided on the moving member within a predetermined detection range. A plurality of the detection coils are arranged side by side in a direction perpendicular to an extending direction of the exciting coil. A plurality of the detection object portions are provided at different positions in the moving direction so as to respectively correspond to the plurality of the detection coils, and the respective detection ranges of the plurality of the detection coils are offset in the moving direction of the moving member.

A position detection device for detecting a position of a shaft moving forward and backward in an axial direction is provided with a detection object attached to the shaft, an excitation coil for generating an alternating magnetic field, and a detection coil arranged along an axial direction of the shaft. A magnitude of a voltage induced in the detection coil varies in accordance with a position of the detection object.

A rotation speed sensor, configured to detect a rotation speed of a rotating body, is composed of a cable composed of an electric wire including a conductor wire, and a sheath provided over the electric wire, a circuit substrate mounted with an integrated circuit thereon and connected to the conductor wire being exposed from the cable, and a housing including a first housing, which is configured to hold the circuit substrate therein, and a second housing, which is configured to hold the cable therein, with the first housing being welded to the second housing, and with the second housing being welded to a surface of the sheath of the cable.

Rotational speed sensor and production method therefor

A motor wiring member configured to supply three-phase alternating current to a motor includes conductive wires, each of which has a connecting portion being provided at one end and being configured to be connected to a coil end of a stator of the motor, a terminal being provided at an other end of each conductive wire and being configured to be connected to an electrode of a terminal block, and a surge suppression section being configured to suppress an overvoltage from being applied to the motor. The surge suppression section includes three series circuits, each of which includes a resistor and a capacitor. One ends of the three series circuits are electrically connected to the conductive wires of respective phases, and other ends of the three series circuits are electrically connected to each other. The surge suppression section is provided along with the conductor wires near the terminal and is located between the terminal and the connecting portion.

Motor wiring member

A piezoelectric body that is excellent in endurance, flexibility and bendability is achieved. A piezoelectric member includes: belt type first and second conductive rubber sheets that face each other; and a piezoelectric layer formed between an upper surface of the first conductive rubber sheet and a lower surface of the second conductive rubber sheet. The piezoelectric layer is made of a piezoelectric coating material with which at least either one of the upper surface of the first conductive rubber sheet and the lower surface of the second conductive rubber sheet is coated. When a pressure is applied to the piezoelectric layer through at least either one of the first conductive rubber sheet and the second conductive rubber sheet, a potential difference is generated between the first conductive rubber sheet and the second conductive rubber sheet.

Piezoelectric member

A line sensor includes a sensor cord including a resilient hollow insulator and two electrical wires arranged along an inner circumferential surface of the hollow insulator in an electrically non-contact state with each other, a constant current source which is connected to one of the two electrode wires at one end of the sensor cord, and a detecting device for detecting a pressed position. The other electric wire is grounded at the other end of the sensor cord. The two electric wires include a resistance wire having a resistance of 1 k&#x3a9;/m or more. The detecting device detects a voltage of the resistance wire at one end of the sensor cord to detect the pressed position in a longitudinal direction of the sensor cord based on the detected voltage.

Line sensor

An onboard detector includes a cable including plural electric wires and a sensor module provided at an end of the cable. The sensor module includes a sensor, a housing member and a molded article. The sensor includes a sensor main body including a detecting element and plural lead wires electrically connected to the electric wires. The housing member includes a joint housing portion that houses joints of the electric wires and the lead wires. The molded article includes molding resin that is molded so as to cover at least a portion of the housing member and so as not to come into contact with the sensor main body. The joint housing portion includes a wire holding wall holding the electric wires and a sensor holding wall holding the lead wires so as to hold the sensor.

Onboard detector including cable and sensor module including sensor, housing member and molded article

A composite detection sensor includes a sensor cable including not less than three conductive electrode wires and a resilient insulation covering collectively the electrode wires and holding the electrode wires that are circumferentially spaced from each other, and a capacitance measurement unit for measuring capacitance between each two electrode wires and between each electrode wire and the ground. The capacitance measurement unit may include plural inter-wire capacitance measuring portions for measuring capacitance between the electrode wires, a wire-ground capacitance measuring portion for measuring capacitance between the electrode wires and the ground, and a switching means switchable between a first connection state and a second connection state, the first connection state being a state in which the electrode wires are connected to the inter-wire capacitance measuring portions, and the second connection state being a state in which the electrode wires are connected to the wire-ground capacitance measuring portion.

Composite detection sensor and sensor cable

A method of manufacturing a cable with resin molded body, wherein the cable with resin molded body includes a cable and a resin molded body formed by resin molding, wherein the resin molded body includes a main body to cover the tip portion of the cable and a flange integrally molded with the main body, and wherein the flange includes a bolt hole through which a bolt is inserted so as to fix the flange to the attachment object. The method includes molding the resin molded body by injecting a resin into a mold, the mold including a main body-molding portion for molding the main body, a flange-molding portion for molding the flange and an outlet formed behind the flange-molding portion in relation to the main body-molding portion, and draining the resin through the outlet during the molding of the resin molded body.

Method of manufacturing cable with resin molded body

A sensor module includes a magnetic field sensor that includes a sensor main body including a magnetic field sensing element and a plurality of lead wires led out from the sensor main body, a container case including a container part that includes the sensor main body, and a molded body that includes a mold resin molded so as to include at least a part of the container case without contacting with the sensor main body.

Sensing device and method for manufacturing sensing device

A steering switch device, which is mounted on a steering wheel, includes a linear switch that includes a hollow insulator having restorability and two electrode wires arranged spirally along an inner surface of a hollow part in the hollow insulator while being kept not in contact with each other, wherein a winding pitch coiling spirally the electrode wires is at least not more than 10 mm, and a detecting device that detects a press of the linear switch by sensing a contact of the electrode wires. The linear switch is arranged so as to be along at least part of a surface of the steering wheel.

Steering wheel switch device

A torque steering angle sensor includes a ring magnet that rotates together with the first rotary member, a second magnetic field detecting element arranged opposite an outer peripheral surface of the ring magnet, a slide magnet arranged opposite the second magnetic field detecting element in the axial direction, and a slide mechanism moving the slide magnet in the axial direction depending on a rotation of the first rotary member; and wherein the steering angle computing portion includes a slide magnet distance computing portion calculating a migration length from a reference position of the slide magnet; and a steering angle correcting portion correcting an offset of the magnetic field strength in the radial direction based on the migration length and configures so as to compute the steering angle of the steering wheel using a magnetic field strength in the radial direction corrected by the steering angle correcting portion.

Torque steering angle sensor and method for correcting the same

A method for producing a cable with a resin mold including a cable section comprising an electric wire and a sheath comprising a synthetic resin covering the electric wire, and a resin mold section into which a portion of the sheath is molded by a resin is provided. A portion of the cable section is received in a receiving space in a die formed with a molten resin inlet, an inflow passage, and a resin reservoir therein. A molten resin is injected from the inlet into the receiving space. A portion of the injected molten resin flows through the inflow passage and is retained in the resin reservoir. The portion of the sheath is molten by heat of the molten resin. The molten resin is solidified to thereby form a molded resin product. Its unnecessary portion solidified in the resin reservoir is removed from the molded resin product.
