The fuel cell vehicle includes a fuel cell for generating electric power by electrochemical reaction of hydrogen and oxygen, and a hydrogen tank which stores pressurized hydrogen to supply hydrogen to the fuel cell, the fuel cell and the hydrogen tank being arranged at an underfloor region of the vehicle. Based on the detection results in a side G sensor arranged on the side of the fuel cell and a rear G sensor arranged on the side of the hydrogen tank, a side air bag device is made expandable and a cut-off valve and a contactor are operated to cut off.

Fuel cell vehicle

A fuel cell vehicle driven by generated electric power of a fuel cell comprises a fuel cell box disposed underneath a floor for storing therein the fuel call, G sensors for detecting a deformation of a vehicle body sideward of the fuel cell box, and a shut-off valve for closing a supply side piping of a hydrogen gas supplied to the fuel cell when a predetermined amount of deformation or the vehicle body is detected by the G sensors.

A determining threshold for a frequency component which indicates damage to the vehicle which is calculated in a frequency component calculating device is selected. The occupant-protecting apparatus is activated appropriately by monitoring the damage to the vehicle in the frequency component determining device by using the frequency component. By doing this, a vehicle collision decision apparatus which can determine the condition in the vehicle collision appropriately is provided.

In a liquid crystal display apparatus having a liquid crystal display panel, an input analog display data is converted to a digital display data, a data portion is selected from the digital display data, and display status information is displayed on the display panel in the form of an overlay display data over the digital display data, so that display adjustment on the display panel is possible. An object of the present invention is to perform precise A-D conversion of analog video signal in a liquid crystal display monitor, without increasing a transmission line: to attain this object, a horizontal dividing signal synthesizing circuit of a graphics card superposes a horizontal dividing signal synchronized in phase with a clock for D-A conversion of the analog video signal on a horizontal sync signal, to obtain a second horizontal sync signal, to be outputted; a sync signal isolating circuit of the liquid crystal display monitor isolates the horizontal dividing signal and horizontal sync signal from the second horizontal sync signal; the PLL generates an A-D conversion clock synchronized with the horizontal dividing signal.

An image display device is arranged to convert analog video signals into digital video signals and display the corresponding image to the digital video signals. The image display device provides a variable delaying circuit for delaying an analog video signal of each color or a clock variable delay circuit for delaying a dot clock for generating each color dot clock and supplying each color dot clock as a conversion timing signal of an analog-to-digital converting circuit of the corresponding color. This kind of delay circuit is served to adjust a phase of the analog video signal or the dot clock of each color, thereby suppressing color blur even if the analog video signal contains skews among the colors.

Image display device and information processing apparatus arranged to convert an analog video signal into a digital video signal

A retainer case accommodating an air bag and consisting of two separate parts, one being an open end side part terminating in an open end of the retainer case and the other being an inflator-secured end side part secured to the vehicle body, the open end side part and inflator-secured end side part being fitted together to form the retainer case. The open end side part of the retainer case is made less rigid than the inflator-secured end side part. When an impact is applied to the retainer case from the passenger compartment side, the open end side part undergoes a deformation and thus absorbs the impact. A stem of the air bag is secured to the retainer case with its edge clamped between the fitted portions of the open end side part and inflator-secured end side part of the retainer case.
