A homokinetic universal joint having an outer ring formed in its inner periphery with three axially extending cylindrical track grooves and a tripod member mounted in the outer ring and having three trunnions extending radially so as to be inserted in the track grooves. A guide roller is mounted on each trunnion through needle rollers so as to be engaged in each track groove.
