An ECU is covered by a fuel tank and an upper cover which are vehicle body trim parts along with the upper surface of an air cleaner box. A frame holding duct is connected to the air cleaner box, the frame holding duct extends vehicle forward from the air cleaner box, is connected to a body frame, and is arranged inside an upper cowl, the upper cowl covering the front portion of the body frame, a branching portion of the intake air is arranged in the frame holding duct, and a branching passage extending from the branching portion is disposed between the upper surface of the air cleaner box and the fuel tank and the upper cover and is positioned in front of the ECU.

Saddle riding vehicle

The swing arm for the saddle riding vehicle that supports a wheel in a swingable manner includes a swing arm main body made of a fiber reinforced resin. The swing arm main body is formed to be hollow, and an embedded member of a material different from the fiber reinforced resin is embedded in such a manner as to make solid at least part of the hollow portion of the swing arm main body.

A vehicle seat structure allowing a reduction in the weight of a seat while ensuring cushioning performance. The seat includes a base plate member with an outer frame forming an outer periphery of the seat, and concave portions with seating positions and a seat back position on an inner peripheral side of the outer frame made concave in a direction of a seating load. In addition, the seat includes a fabric member that is provided in a tensioned state in such a manner so as to close open sides of the concave portions for supporting an occupant's weight. A first cushion member is provided in positions on the fabric member, at least corresponding to the outer frame.

A seat structure for a saddle-ride type vehicle, the seat structure including an outer frame portion in which a through-hole is formed at least at a seating position for the occupant to sit on; a seat skin that has elasticity is fixed to the outer frame portion while predetermined tensile force is applied thereto, and is disposed to cover a portion facing the through-hole; and a cushion member that is disposed between an upper surface of the outer frame portion and the seat skin, and bulges above an outer edge of the outer frame portion.

Seat structure for saddle-ride type vehicle

A seat structure for a saddle-ride type vehicle for an occupant to sit on. The seat structure includes an outer frame portion, left and right frame portions, a seat skin, recessed portions, and a cushion member. The frame portion includes a through-hole formed at least at a seating position for the occupant to sit on. The left and right frame portions are disposed along left and right side surfaces of the vehicle. The seat skin has elasticity and is fixed to the outer frame portion while predetermined tensile force is applied thereto. The seat skin is disposed to cover a portion facing the through-hole. The recessed portions are formed on the left and right frame portions and are recessed toward an inner side in a vehicle width direction. A cushion member is disposed between the left and right frame portions and the seat skin.

An electrically driven vehicle includes a driver's seat, a left rear seat, a right rear seat, a center console, a first battery group, and a second battery group. The left rear seat and the right rear seat are provided side by side in a rear of the driver's seat. The center console is arranged between the left rear seat and the right rear seat and extends backwardly from the driver's seat. The first battery group includes batteries arranged under the driver's seat. The second battery group includes batteries arranged under the center console and under the left rear seat and the right rear seat in the rear of the driver's seat.

Electrically driven vehicle

A driver seat is disposed at a position offset by a predetermined distance to the left from a vehicle width center line and an ingress-egress opening through which a driver gets on and off the vehicle is provided on a lateral side of the driver seat. A door is attached to a left upper frame via a door hinge and the ingress-egress opening is opened and closed by using the door. A parking brake lever is disposed near the left upper frame and the door hinge is provided on the same left upper frame. Since the door hinge and the parking brake lever are disposed close to each other, there is no possibility of the parking brake lever hindering ingress and egress.

A rear body of an electric vehicle can include rear body frames attached in a vertically swingable manner with respect to a body frame and a chassis attached to the rear body frames by a pivot shaft on a vehicle forward side in a vertically swingable manner. Front and rear batteries are located on the rear body frames, and a motor and rear wheels are supported on the chassis. The front and rear batteries are housed in a battery case fixed on the rear body frames. A PDU as a battery control device, is located on a vehicle forward side of the battery case. A contactor, having a function to open and close the connection between the front and rear batteries and the PDU, is located on a lateral face of the battery case.

Electric vehicle

A vehicle intake duct surrounds a high-flow intake passage, which ensures flow capacity and does not spatially restrict other components. The vehicle includes an engine attached to a vehicle body frame, with the intake duct interconnecting an air cleaner and a throttle body, a transmission for sending engine output to wheels, and a seat mounted on an upper longitudinal frame section of the vehicle body frame. The air cleaner is also provided on the upper longitudinal frame section forward of the seat. The intake duct includes a first extending portion descending rearwardly and downwardly from an outlet of the air cleaner and passing laterally of the throttle body, a curved portion extending rearwardly from the first extending portion and toward a center of the vehicle body frame, and a second extending portion wound around toward a rear portion of the throttle body and connected thereto.

Intake air routing structure for a vehicle, and vehicle including same

The effect of a windshield for a saddle-type vehicle such as a low-slung type of motorcycle or three-wheeled vehicle is enhanced, and pressure is sufficiently adjusted in an open space at the back of the windshield using an inventive windshield system. The vehicle includes a leg shield in front of legs of a rider, and a step space rearward of the leg shield. The windshield system includes a windshield which is provided with an air outlet that opens upward. An air inlet provided at the front of the vehicle communicates with the air outlet other through a duct, and the air outlet opens to the upper center of the windshield. Pressure adjusting outlets, for adjusting pressure in a space around the rider by blowing air toward the step space, are provided separately from the air outlet.

Windshield system for a saddle-type vehicle

The vehicle body frame is configured in a manner that an upper tension pipe is removed from a first cross portion and a second cross portion. When mounting the engine in the vehicle body frame, the vehicle mounted component that is relatively heavy can be lowered into the vehicle body frame from above by removing the upper tension pipe. The vehicle body frame simplifies the removal and installation of the vehicle-mounted components.

An air cleaner apparatus includes a lid that covers an opening formed in an air cleaner box is provided with an intake port communicating with the opening. In addition, a regulator is attached to an upper wall portion of the air cleaner box, the intake port is extended to the upper wall portion of the air cleaner box so as to cover the regulator, and the regulator is placed facing inside an intake passage connecting between the intake port and the opening. The air cleaner apparatus so configured provides a sufficient cooling effect, and is excellent in ease of maintenance.

Air cleaner apparatus

A windshield device for obtaining a favorable screen effect with respect to an air flow from the sides of a screen while suppressing large-sizing of the screen in the vehicle width direction. In a front cowling which includes a screen unit which is mounted on a front portion of a vehicle body and has a screen, an air introducing opening is formed in a front portion of the screen unit and opens forwardly. An air blow-off opening is formed in an upper portion of the screen unit that opens upwardly. An air duct allows the screen unit and the air blow-off opening to communicate with each other. Air discharge ports which open outwardly and to the sides from the vehicle are formed in a side of the air duct.

In a windshield unit for a saddle-ride type vehicle provided at the front center of a vehicle body with an air duct for directing the air flow from the front of the vehicle toward the upside, a screen is provided at the front center of a vehicle body with an air duct adapted to lead the air flow from the front of the vehicle toward the upside, a straight portion of the air duct rising in front of an occupant so that a left-right width of a rear wall rearwardly of the straight portion may be narrower than the left-right width of a front wall forward of the straight portion.
