Provided is a lithium secondary battery including a positive electrode layer composed of a lithium complex oxide sintered body, a negative electrode layer composed of a titanium-containing sintered body, a ceramic separator interposed between the positive electrode layer and the negative electrode layer, an electrolyte with which at least the ceramic separator is impregnated, and an exterior body including a closed space, the closed space accommodating the positive electrode layer, the negative electrode layer, the ceramic separator, and the electrolyte. The positive electrode layer, the ceramic separator, and the negative electrode layer form one integrated sintered plate as a whole, and the entirety of the integrated sintered plate is coated with a metal oxide layer.

Lithium secondary battery

Provided is a lithium complex oxide sintered plate for use in a positive electrode of a lithium secondary battery. The lithium complex oxide sintered plate has a structure in which a plurality of primary grains having a layered rock-salt structure are bonded, and has a porosity of 3 to 40%, a mean pore diameter of 15 μm or less, an open porosity of 70% or more, and a thickness of 15 to 200 μm. The plurality of primary grains has a primary grain diameter, i.e., a mean diameter of the primary grains, of 20 μm or less and a mean tilt angle of more than 0° to 30° or less. The mean tilt angle is a mean value of the angles defined by the (003) planes of the primary grains and the plate face of the lithium complex oxide sintered plate.

Lithium composite oxide sintered body plate

Provided is a lithium secondary battery including a positive electrode layer composed of a lithium complex oxide sintered body, a negative electrode layer composed of a titanium-containing sintered body, a ceramic separator, an electrolytic solution, and an exterior body including a closed space, the closed space accommodating the positive electrode layer, the negative electrode layer, the ceramic separator, and the electrolytic solution, wherein the positive electrode layer, the ceramic separator, and the negative electrode layer are bonded together, the ceramic separator is composed of MgO and glass, the glass has an average grain size of 0.5 to 25 μm, and a ratio of the average grain size of the glass to the average grain size of MgO is 1.5 to 85.

Provided is a lithium secondary battery including a positive electrode layer composed of a cobalt-containing lithium complex oxide sintered body, a negative electrode layer composed of a titanium-containing sintered body, a ceramic separator interposed between the positive electrode layer and the negative electrode layer and containing MgO, an electrolytic solution with which the positive electrode layer, the negative electrode layer, and the ceramic separator are impregnated, and an exterior body including a closed space, the closed space accommodating the positive electrode layer, the negative electrode layer, the ceramic separator, and the electrolytic solution, wherein the positive electrode layer, the ceramic separator, and the negative electrode layer are bonded together, and the interface between the negative electrode layer and the ceramic separator has a larger roughness than the interface between the positive electrode layer and the ceramic separator.

A coin-type lithium secondary cell for soldering by reflow method includes a positive electrode including a lithium composite oxide, a negative electrode, an electrolyte layer provided between the positive electrode and the negative electrode and including an electrolytic solution, a cell case having an enclosed space in which the positive electrode, the negative electrode, and the electrolyte layer are housed. The positive electrode and the negative electrode as a whole contains 3.0% by mass or less of lithium carbonate.

Coin-type lithium secondary cell

A circuit board assembly includes a wiring board, a coin-type secondary cell that is a lithium secondary cell electrically connected to the wiring board by reflow soldering, and a wireless communication device electrically connected to the wiring board. The coin-type secondary cell includes a positive electrode including a sintered body, a negative electrode including a sintered body, an electrolyte layer provided between the positive electrode and the negative electrode, and a cell case having an enclosed space in which the positive electrode, the negative electrode, and the electrolyte layer are housed. When C is given as the capacity of the positive electrode and A is given as the capacity of the negative electrode, 1.03<C/A<1.60 is satisfied.

Coin-shaped lithium secondary battery and IoT device

The present invention can provide rapid charge/discharge at a high cycle capacity retention and increase the capacity of the secondary battery.
