The present disclosure enhances security of a service of storing baggage in a locker loaded in a vehicle. An information processing apparatus of the present disclosure includes a controller configured to, for baggage stored in a locker loaded in a vehicle, make a notification that confirms unlocking of the locker to a user terminal associated with the baggage, with a locked state of the locker being maintained, when a predetermined event related to unlocking of the locker is detected before a first date and time set in advance. The controller decides whether or not to take out the baggage from the locker based on an answer to the notification from the user terminal.

Enhanced locker security apparatus and method

A management server executes a process including: a step of acquiring operation information when an execution condition is established; a step of setting a traveling route; a step of calculating an accumulated amount of load when there is a vehicle set on the forwarding route; a step of setting the details of canceling the travel restriction according to the accumulated amount of the load of the vehicle on the forwarding route when there is a vehicle in a high accumulated state; a step of setting cancellation of travel restrictions for vehicles on the forwarding route when there is no vehicle in a high accumulation state; and a step of transmitting the travel plan information.

When a computer of an ADK determines that a condition for performing self-diagnosis processing is met, or when performance of self-diagnosis processing is notified from a VP even if the condition for performing self-diagnosis processing is not met, the computer performs processing including: a step of performing self-diagnosis processing; a step of notifying the performance of the self-diagnosis processing to the VP; and a step of transmitting a result of diagnosis obtained through the self-diagnosis processing by the ADK to a central ECU when the self-diagnosis processing is completed.

An information processing device includes a control unit configured to send first information including a first date and time, to a user terminal, at a predetermined timing before the first date and time, the first date and time being a date and time at which baggage deposited in a movable locker is planned to be taken out, the movable locker being mounted on a vehicle, the user terminal being used by a user that has deposited the baggage in the locker. The predetermined timing is a timing that is earlier than the first date and time by a first time length. The control unit sets the first time length such that the first time length is longer as the distance between a first place and the position of the user terminal is longer, the first place being a place at which the baggage is planned to be taken out.
