The tape cassette includes a housing, a tape spool, a tape, a first guide, a second guide, and a plurality of pins. The housing has an outlet. The tape spool is held inside the housing. The tape is wound around the tape spool. The first guide is configured to guide the tape toward a detection position where tape information of the tape is detected by a sensor of a printer. The second guide is configured to guide the tape that has been conveyed through the detection position toward the outlet. The plurality of pins is disposed at positions away from a straight line connecting the tape spool with the first guide. The pins are configured to cause a conveyance path of the tape from the tape spool to the first guide to be curved, and guide the tape to the first guide along the conveyance path.

Tape cassette

The tape cassette includes a housing, a tape roll, a tape, an outlet, a first guide, first opening, second opening, a first rotation body, and a second rotation body. The first guide is configured to guide the tape that has been conveyed through a detection position toward the outlet. The first opening opens toward a first surface of the tape. The second opening opens toward a second surface of the tape. The first rotation body is disposed at a position adjacent to the first opening. The position adjacent to the first opening is an entrance to the detection position. The second rotation body is disposed further upstream than the first guide in a tape conveyance direction. The second rotation body is disposed at a position adjacent to the second opening. The position adjacent to the second opening is an exit from the detection position.

A medium includes a heat-sensitive medium and an adhesive medium. The heat-sensitive medium includes a first base material and a first heat-sensitive layer. The first base material has a transparency. The first heat-sensitive layer has a transparency. The first heat-sensitive, layer is provided on one surface of the first base material. The first heat-sensitive layer is configured to develop a first color when heated to a first temperature or higher. The adhesive medium includes a second base material and a first adhesive layer. The first adhesive layer is provided on one surface of the second base material. The heat-sensitive medium and the adhesive medium are to be superimposed such that the first heat-sensitive layer and the first adhesive layer are interposed between the heat-sensitive medium and the adhesive medium. A tape having a strip shape extending in a lengthwise direction and a widthwise direction includes: a subject surface located on the tape and exposed in a thickness direction; a first marker provided on the subject surface and being greater than the subject surface in reflectivity to light with a particular wavelength; and a second marker provided on the subject surface and being less than the subject surface in the reflectivity. At least a portion of the first marker and at least a portion of the second marker are identical to each other in position in the widthwise direction. At least a portion of one of the first marker and the second marker and at least a portion of another of the first marker and the second marker are different from each other in position in the lengthwise direction.

Tape and tape cassette

A tape includes: a sheet; first and second media arranged adjacent to each other in a longitudinal direction of the sheet, spaced from each other, and peelably stuck to the sheet; a first separating line extending between first and second ends of the sheet in a widthwise direction between the first and second media; and a second separating line formed at a portion of the sheet which is located between a center position of the second medium in the widthwise direction and a first end of the second medium in the widthwise direction. The second separating line is formed at at least a portion of the sheet which is located between first and second ends of the second medium in the longitudinal direction. Each of the first and second separating lines includes a portion formed through or cut in the sheet in a thickness direction.

Tape, tape roll, and tape cassette

A tape cassette includes: a cassette casing; and a tape roll that is a roll of a tape extending in a lengthwise direction and a widthwise direction. The tape includes: a subject surface exposed in a thickness direction; and a first image provided on the subject surface and indicating first information. The tape roll has: a first end portion located at an inner portion of the tape roll in a radial direction of the tape roll; and a second end portion located at an outer portion of the tape roll in the radial direction. The first information relates to an amount of a portion of the tape which is located on a first-end-portion-side of a reference position in the lengthwise direction. The reference position is located on the first-end-portion-side of the first image in the lengthwise direction on the tape at a particular distance from the first image.

A medium includes a base layer and a separation layer stacked on each other. Regions are defined along a first direction. The regions include: a first region in which a portion of the medium which is in contact with the separation layer is stickable; a second region in which a portion of the medium which is in contact with the separation layer is non-stickable; and a third region in which a portion of the medium which is in contact with the separation layer is at least partly stickable. Four first vertexes of a first imaginary trapezoid shape which are located on an outer shape of the first region and four second vertexes of a second imaginary trapezoid shape which are located on an outer shape of the third region are symmetric with respect to an axis parallel with a second direction.

Medium and tape cartridge

A tape includes a sheet and an elongated label that includes first portions and second portions. A second-side end portion of a first-side second portion is connected to a first-side end portion of one first portion, and a first-side end portion of a second-side second portion is connected to a second-side end portion of the one first portion. The one first portion has a first length in a tape widthwise direction. Each of the first-side second portion and the second-side second portion has a second length in the widthwise direction of the tape and a third length in a tape longitudinal direction. The second length is greater than the first length. The one first portion has a fourth length in the tape longitudinal direction which is greater than or equal to a specific length and less than a sum of the specific length and the third length.

Tape, tape roll, and tape cartridge

A tape includes: a sheet; first and second media; a first separating line located between first and second media of one pair and extending between first and second ends of the sheet in a widthwise direction; a first cutting portion formed through the first medium and extending from a first end of the first medium to a first endpoint; a second cutting portion formed through the second medium and extending from a first end of the second medium to a second endpoint; and second and third separating lines extending in a longitudinal direction between the first endpoint and a first-medium end portion and between the second endpoint and a second-medium end portion, respectively. A side of the first endpoint on which the first-medium end portion is located is identical in the longitudinal direction to a side of the second endpoint on which the second-medium end portion is located.

Tape for tape printing machine

A label medium includes a label including: information-printable first and second indicator portions; first and second wrapping portions; a first through portion having at least a portion of a first hole or a first slit; and a second through portion having at least a portion of a second hole or a second slit. The first indicator portion, the first wrapping portion, and the first through portion are arranged in this order in a first direction. The second indicator portion, the second wrapping portion, and the second through portion are arranged in this order in one of the first direction or a second direction. The first indicator portion and the second indicator portion are at least connected to each other via a line. The first hole or the first slit and the second hole or the second slit are at least partly symmetric with respect to the imaginary line.

Label medium and cassette

A label of a label medium includes: first and second indicator portions each having an information-printable region; first and second wrapping portions to be wrapped on a wrapped member; and first and second through portions through which the first and second indicator portions are passed. The first and second indicator portions are arranged in this order in a first direction and connected to each other via a first line. The second indicator portion, the second wrapping portion, and the second through portion are connected to each other and arranged in this order in the first direction, The first wrapping portion and the first through portion are arranged in this order in the first direction or a second direction. The first wrapping portion and the second wrapping portion, and/or the first through portion and the second through portion are connected to each other via a second line.

A non-transitory storage medium stores a program for: obtaining first to fourth positional information and first and second image information from a storage, displaying a first image indicated by the obtained first image information and a second image indicated by the obtained second image information; receiving selection of one of the first image and the second image displayed on a display, based on an operation of an operation device; and when selection of the first image is received, transmitting information including the first positional information and the second positional information, as cutting-position information indicating cutting positions in a tape, and when selection of the second image is received, transmitting information including the third positional information and the fourth positional information as the cutting-position information.
