Process and apparatus for manufacturing packages

A sheet package can prevent a sheet from causing damage upon dispensing the sheet through a dispensing opening without widening an opening width of the dispensing opening and providing extra gap within a package container. The sheet package includes a sheet stack, in which a plurality of folded sheets are stacked, received within a package container with a dispensing opening. Each individual sheet is folded into two-ply sheet along a first folding line, two sheets of the two-ply sheet are folded along a second folding line extending in parallel to the first folding line together for forming a folded sheet, a plurality of folded sheets are stacked in such a manner that a portion including the first folding line of a lower folded sheet is disposed within a valley folded portion of an upper folded sheet.

Sheet package

Provided is a sheet package including a stack of sheets having a plurality of sheets folded about fold lines and arranged in a vertically stacked configuration, and a receptacle for containing the stack of sheets which is made of hard or soft material and has a dispensing opening in a top surface thereof. The stack of sheets includes an upper layer of a plurality of sheets located in the vicinity of the dispensing opening, and a lower layer of a plurality of sheets located under the upper layer. The width of the upper layer is smaller than that of the lower layer in a direction perpendicular to the fold lines of the sheets.

A cleaning sheet including a base sheet and at least one surface layer of filaments placed on the base sheet is described. The filaments extend in one direction and each of the filaments extends over the whole length of the surface layer in the extension direction of the filaments. The base sheet and the surface layers are bonded to each other at a plurality of bonding lines intersecting the extension direction. The surface layer includes a plurality of filaments-holding regions, each of which includes at least one end of the bonding line other than the bonding lines forming the filaments-holding region. Accordingly, in the filaments-holding regions, differences-in-level for collecting dust are formed and gaps (pockets) for capturing the dust therein are exposed.

Disposable cleaning sheet

There is disclosed a package including a box body having an opening and a cover member for closing the opening of the box body. The box body is formed of a packaging material of a soft sheet having a monolayer of a resin film or a multi-layer structure having a resin film. The box body includes: a rectangular bottom face portion; four side face portions folded from the four sides of the bottom face portion; corner sealing portions formed by jointing the inner faces of the side face portions at corner portions between the adjoining side face portions; flange portions folded outward of the box body from the upper ends of the side face portions substantially at a right angle thereto and with a predetermined width size; and flange jointing portions jointing the flange portions folded from the side face portions without any clearance between each other at the upper ends of the corner portions between the adjoining side face portions. The cover member is formed of a packaging material of a soft sheet having a monolayer of a resin film or a multi-layer structure having a resin film. The cover member is jointed to the upper surfaces of the flange portions and the flange jointing portions which are formed continuously along the upper ends of the side face portions and the upper ends of the corner portions.

Package formed of soft sheet

A wet tissue product composed of a stacked body of folded wet tissues and a container or package housing the stacked body in which each of the folded wet tissues is formed by folding a plane wet tissue with opposite edges thereof to the same side along folding line portions to have a first folded portion, a second folded portion and an intermediate portion between the upper and lower folded portions. The folded wet tissues are consecutively combined such that the folding line portion forming the second folded portion of the upper wet tissue is sandwiched between the first folded portion and the intermediate portion of the lower wet tissue, and the second folded portion of the upper wet tissue and the first folded portion of the lower wet tissue are in face-to-face contact with each other.
