A probe which allows optical fiber fixing tools to be distributed substantially uniformly and symmetrically longitudinally or laterally and is easily fitted, even when a head part size of a subject changes is provided. A plurality of optical fiber fixing tools which fix incident optical fibers and detection optical fibers are arranged on a fixing part in a substantially straight line shape, a plurality of the fixing parts are included, the fixing parts are arranged so that its straight line direction is oriented in a substantially parietal direction, the optical fiber fixing tool on the fixing part and the optical fiber fixing tool on the adjacent different fixing part are connected by a connecting member, and the connecting member is made rotatable around the optical fiber fixing tool, whereby the probe can be fitted so that the optical fibers are arranged substantially symmetrically and uniformly longitudinally or laterally.

Disclosed is a probe for biomeasurement by use of light capable of adjusting positions of incident points and detection points without changing the distance between the incident point and the detection point in accordance with the size of a subject's head, and an optical bioinstrumentation for living body using the probe. The distances between the incident points and the detection points are approximately the same. A gap is formed by removing part of connecting members, rotatable about the incident point and the detection point, around the subject head top portion. The size of the probe is changed by changing the distance between the incident points or the detection points around the gap.

Probe for optical measurement instrument for living body and optical measurement instrument for living body using the same

Irradiated points and light receiving points are arranged such that sampling points are arranged over an entire spherical head with no vacant space. The sampling points are arranged to cover the entire spherical head by combining a plurality of rhombic shells and inverting the respective positions of irradiated points and light receiving points in the adjacent shells. The capillary electrophoresis system includes a wafer-shaped part having passages filled with a buffer solution for introducing sample solutions; a body having a configuration suitable to removably hold and to move the wafer-shaped part. The body includes first and second electrodes for applying a voltage across both ends of passages of the wafer-shaped part to separate and remove the sample solution. The body also includes first and second buffer reservoirs conductive to passages of the wafer-shaped part at specific positions for filling buffer solution around the first and second electrodes. The system according to the present invention facilitates washing of electrophoresis passages and reduces the time and labor costs required for replacement of the fused-silica wafers and simplifies operation by allowing a plurality of sample solutions to be analyzed more quickly.

In a sample-introduction tool in which an end of a passage is connected to a reservoir for storing a mobile phase solution, a sample-dropping orifice is provided at the passage and the mobile phase solution and a sample running off from the other end of the passage are introduced into a mass spectrometer by generating a high-speed gas stream around the other end of the passage. The mobile phase solution and the sample are nebulized by the high-speed gas stream, and the injected sample is ionized.

A living body fluid analyzing system includes a microdialysis for sending a first solution having an osmotic pressure which is substantially similar to a osmotic pressure of a body fluid into a living body and extracting a second solution from the living body. A first flow passage is provided in which the second solution from the microdialysis flows and a second flow passage is provided which mixes the second solution with an organic solution. Furthermore, there is provided a gas source and a gas flow controller which controls a flow quantity of the gas from the gas source and a third flow passage in which a gas introduced from the gas source flows.
