An object of the present invention is to provide an electric vacuum cleaner equipped with a compact and easy-to-operate cyclonic separation type dust collector. To accomplish the object, the present invention mounts a cyclonic separation cylinder () that centrifugally separates and captures dust and a dust collecting case () that contains a first auxiliary filter () detachably on the lower case () of the cleaner body () and part of air from the cyclonic separation cylinder () is fed to the motor-driven blower through the dust collecting case (). The present invention mounts a cyclonic separation cylinder () that centrifugally separates and captures dust and a dust collecting case () that contains a first auxiliary filter () detachably on the lower case () of the cleaner body () and part of air from the cyclonic separation cylinder () is fed to the motor-driven blower through the dust collecting case () and a filter provided under it.

Electric vacuum cleaner

The electric vacuum cleaner is disclosed which includes a main body within which an electric blower and cyclonic separation cylinder are provided. A dust collecting case is provided in communication with the cyclonic separation cylinder to receive dust that has been separated from the inlet tube. The dust collecting case also includes a lifter arranged therein. Air received from the inlet tube is separated such that a portion is passed through the dust collecting case and a communicating passage. The air is subsequently merged and discharge through the electric blower.

In a fluidal machine with an impeller rotating to urge a fluid radially outwardly by a centrifugal force, a vane guiding the fluid discharged from the impeller, a vane member which includes a front end of the vane facing to the impeller so that the fluid discharged from the impeller strikes against the front end and which is prevented from contacting the atmosphere, and a casing surrounding the vane member and contacting the atmosphere, the vane member is discrete from the casing, a vibration propagation between the vane member and the casing is prevented or restrained, and a vibration of a pipe extending from the casing is absorbed.

Fluidal machine

At a vaned diffuser or a volute casing of a centrifugal fluid machine, pressure pulsation and vibrating forces acting upon the diffuser or the volute casing are mitigated or cancelled so as to abate the noise from the centrifugal fluid machine. The fluid machine having an impeller rotating about a rotating shaft within a casing and having a vaned diffuser or volute fixed to the casing is constructed such that radius of the vane trailing edge of the impeller and radius of the vane leading edge of the diffuser or radius of the volute tongue is varied in the direction of axis of rotation and inclinations, on a meridional plane, of the vane trailing edge of the impeller and the vane leading edge of the diffuser or the volute tongue are set in the same orientation, thereby reduction in head and efficiency or occurrence of an axial thrust may be restrained to the extent possible to optimally abate the noise and pressure pulsation of the centrifugal fluid machine.

Centrifugal fluid machine

At a volute casing of a centrifugal fluid machine, pressure pulsation and vibrating forces acting upon the volute casing are mitigated or cancelled so as to abate the noise from the centrifugal fluid machine. The fluid machine having an impeller,rotating about a rotating shaft,within a casing,and having a volute,fixed to the casing,is constructed such that radius of the vane trailing edge of the impeller,and radius of the volute tongue is varied in the direction of axis of rotation and inclinations, on a meridional plane, of the vane trailing edge of the impeller,and the vane leading edge of the volute tongue are set in the same orientation, thereby reduction in head and efficiency or occurrence of an axial thrust may be restrained to the extent possible to optimally abate the noise and pressure pulsation of the centrifugal fluid machine.

A vacuum cleaner having a vacuum cleaner main body, an electric blower motor provided in the vacuum cleaner main body, a dust collection part provided in the vacuum cleaner main body, a suction nozzle body for communicating with the dust collection part, an impeller having a rotary axis provided in an interior portion of the suction nozzle body and driven by a suction force which is generated by said electric blower motor. At least one of a rotation brush member and a rotation blade member is included in the suction nozzle body and an opening portion of the suction nozzle body is opposed to a surface to be subjected to cleaning, a suction inlet port for the suction nozzle body is provided for sucking air from an outside portion and is located separately from the opening portion of the suction nozzle body. The suction inlet port is provided so as to direct air which is sucked from the outside portion in a direction transverse to the rotary axis of the impeller and an air flow passage is formed in the suction nozzle body so that a part of the air which is sucked from the suction inlet port initially impinges on the impeller to rotate the impeller and then is passed to a region of the surface to be subjected to cleaning and is sucked into the vacuum cleaner main body.

Vacuum cleaner and suction nozzle body thereof cross reference to related application

At an interior portion of a suction nozzle body, an impeller and a brush member are installed. The impeller is rotated in response to an air flow produced by a suction force and a brush or a blade member is mounted in a spiral shape along the whole impeller or a part of the impeller and contacts a surface to be subjected to cleaning. The rotary brush rotates integrally with the impeller on the same shaft and no partition wall is provided between the impeller and the rotary brush. A suction nozzle body having a small size, and which is of light weight and provides for silent operation, and a vacuum cleaner using the same, can be provided.

In an active noise-reduction controlling apparatus, there are provided a reference sensor for outputting a reference signal corresponding to information about a noise source, a noise-reduction error sensor for detecting a noise-reduction condition, an adding acoustic wave source controlled to produce an acoustic wave having the same amplitude as that of an acoustic wave received at the noise-reduction error sensor and having a phase opposite to that of the acoustic wave received as the noise-reduction error sensor; a first adaptive digital filter for processing the reference signal to output a control signal of the adding acoustic wave source, a second adaptive digital filter for setting a predicted value of a transfer function between an input signal of the adding acoustic wave source and an output signal of said noise-reduction error sensor, a filter coefficient controlling unit for optimizing a coefficient of the first adaptive digital filter with employment of the predicted value of the transfer function and the output of the noise-reduction error sensor, and a control unit for correcting the predicted value of the transfer function in accordance with an environmental change.
