A semiconductor device may include: a semiconductor module in which a semiconductor element is sealed in a resin package, and a heat sink is located on at least one surface of the resin package; an insulating sheet covering the heat sink; a cooling plate which is constituted of resin containing heat transfer fillers, the cooling plate having one surface and another surface, wherein the one surface covers the insulating sheet and is bonded to the at least one surface of the resin package, the other surface is provided with fins; and a cooler constituted of resin and configured to flow coolant along the fins, wherein the cooler surrounds the cooling plate in a view along a normal direction of the cooling plate, and is bonded to both ends of the resin package in the view along the normal direction.

Semiconductor device

The present invention is to provide a redox type fuel cell that is able to quickly regenerate a mediator. The present invention is such a redox type fuel cell that a mediator is circulated in a cathode electrode, wherein a regenerator for oxidizing the mediator includes: a first chamber configured to store a mediator-containing solution; a second chamber configured to store an oxygen reduction reaction medium solution; a power source; a first electrode disposed in the first chamber and connected to a positive electrode of the power source: a second electrode disposed in the second chamber and connected to a negative electrode of the power source; an ion exchange path configured to connect the first chamber and the second chamber; and a gas supplier configured to supply an oxygen-containing gas into the second chamber.

Redox type fuel cell

A tubular fuel cell comprises a cylindrical internal electrode having electrical conductivity, a lamination of a first catalytic layer, an electrolytic layer, and a second catalytic layer laminated in that order on an outer circumferential surface of the internal electrode, and an electrically conductive exterior coil wound around an outer circumferential surface of the second catalytic layer. The tubular fuel cell further comprises an electrically conductive spacer which has an outside diameter greater than that of the exterior coil.

Tubular fuel cell and fuel cell module

A fuel cell structure comprises a diffusion layer and/or a catalyst layer which are made of a carbonaceous porous material having a nano-size structure, such as carbon nanowall (CNW). A method of manufacturing the structure is also disclosed. The structure and method simplify the process of manufacturing a fuel cell electrode comprised of an electrode catalyst layer and a gas diffusion layer. The electrical conductivity of the catalyst layer is increased and the diffusion efficiency of the diffusion layer is improved, whereby the electricity generation efficiency of the fuel cell can be improved.

Fuel cell structure and method of manufacturing same

A fuel cell module that includes: a plurality of tubular fuel cells, each of which contains a cylindrically shaped inner electrode that exhibits conductivity, a first catalyst layer, an electrolyte layer, and a second catalyst layer laminated sequentially to the outer peripheral surface of the inner electrode, and an external coil that exhibits conductivity and is wound around the outer peripheral surface of the second catalyst layer in such a manner that a first coil section with a loose winding pitch is sandwiched between second coil sections with a tight winding pitch; and a current collecting member that exhibits conductivity and is provided with a plurality of openings into which the tubular fuel cells can be inserted, wherein the first coil sections and the openings fit together.

The degree of freedom in the shape of channels in a separator is increased, enabling an optimum gas channel to be designed, enabling a sufficient supply of gas below gas channel ribs, and improving cell performance through the reduction in diffusion polarization. Drainage property is also improved and flooding is prevented, thereby reducing diffusion polarization and improving cell performance. Cell performance is also improved through the reduction of contact resistance. A fuel cell separator comprises a separator substrate on which gas channel ribs are formed through vapor-phase growth of a carbon-based porous material with a nanosize structure. An electrode structure for a fuel cell, methods of manufacturing the separator and the fuel cell, and a solid polymer fuel cell comprising the electrode structure.
