An image processing apparatus includes a processor. The processor is configured to output second and third images corresponding to a continuous first image respectively to first and second routes, analyze the second image and output an analysis result, and generate a fourth image based on the third image and the analysis result and continuously output the fourth image. When acquiring the third image, the processor completes the generation of the fourth image before acquiring an analysis result by the second image generated based on a same first image as the first image, which is a generation source of the third image.

A suspension coil spring, when assembled to a suspension device, in which a spring reaction axis (AR) is positioned coincident with or sufficiently close to a load input axis (AA), and the design and manufacture of coil springs are facilitated. Method of producing a suspension coil spring

A strut type suspension device which contains a strut () whose upper end is supported on an insulator () mounted on a vehicle body (), an upper seat () arranged on the lower face of the vehicle body with a bearing () interposed therebetween, a lower seat () fixed to said strut, and a compression coil spring () arranged around the strut between the upper seat and the lower seat, and which supports the vehicle body by means of the strut and is capable of turning about a kingpin axis, wherein the bearing is arranged in an inclined fashion such that the kingpin axis and the bearing central axis roughly coincide, so that no rotational moment is generated about the kingpin axis. Due to the above arrangement of the strut-type suspension device, the strain energy of the spring is unchanged irrespective of the rotation angle about the kingpin axis, even if the amount of the eccentricity varies, and thereby straight traveling stability is improved.

Provided herein is an image display apparatus for displaying high resolution images by shifting pixels based on wobbling operation by placing a TN cell consisting of a polarization changing liquid crystal plate and a birefringence plate on the front side of an LCD to be driven by video signals, the image display apparatus being provided with a correction circuit to which video signal of the preceding filed stored to a field memory, video signal of the current field and a field discriminant signal are inputted, the LCD being driven by correction video signals generated at the correction circuit so as to display a high resolution image mitigating degradation in image quality due to response delays of the LCD and TN cell.

In a frame-by-frame color image pickup apparatus, images of light components transmitted through red, green, and blue filters of a rotating filter are introduced to an image pickup device arranged in an optical path with rotating filter. The cells in the image pickup device are grouped into cell blocks, each block made up of four cells arranged in one horizontal row and four vertical columns. The rotational speed of the rotating filter is increased, and the cells within each block selected by switches for reading are fixed when an image is dynamic, a quarter of all the cells are read at one cycle of revolution of the rotating filter, and the remaining cells are interpolated to form one frame image. Color breakup is thus precluded. When an image is still, the cells selected are switched at each cycle of revolution of the rotating filter, and all the cells are read over four cycles of revolution of the rotating filter. Thus, a high resolution color image is obtained. The color image pickup apparatus thus improves virtually a pickup rate from the image pickup device, alleviating color breakup. The still image is presented without degrading its resolution.

An improved carbon/metal composite which includes a carbon matrix and metal fibers distributed in the carbon matrix. A virus infection examination apparatus includes a microscope for observing fluorescent images of antigen positive and negative cells dyed with a fluor by an indirect fluorescent antibody method using a serum of an object to be examined. An image pickup unit converts the fluorescent images as observation images of the microscope into image data. A detection unit processes the image data obtained by the image pickup unit and detects intracellular luminance distributions. A determination unit determines the presence/absence of a virus infection of the object on the basis of a difference between the fluorescent luminance distributions detected by the detecting unit.
