A substitution apparatus for installation in a vehicle in which a plurality of in-vehicle control apparatuses are implemented, the substitution apparatus including a control unit and a substitute unit. The control unit is configured to control the substitute unit based on transmission data transmitted from the in-vehicle control apparatuses, specify an abnormal in-vehicle control apparatus based on the transmission data, disable the specified abnormal in-vehicle control apparatus, and apply, to the substitute unit, a program for exhibiting functions otherwise normally executed by the specified abnormal in-vehicle control apparatus. The substitute unit is configured to substitute for the disabled in-vehicle control apparatus by executing the applied program.

Substitution apparatus, substitution control program, and substitution method

Provided is a vehicle-mounted relay device, a vehicle-mounted communication system, and a relay program configured to prevent an unauthorized message from being relayed between networks. A vehicle-mounted relay device includes a plurality of communication units to which a plurality of CAN buses are connected and determines whether a message transmitted by any ECU connected to the CAN buses are authorized. If a message is unauthorized, then the vehicle-mounted relay devicegives, to the respective CAN bus connected to the communication unit receiving the message, a notification that the unauthorized message has been transmitted. The vehicle-mounted relay device prohibits further relaying of a message that has the same CAN-ID as the CAN-ID contained in the message determined to be unauthorized. Concurrently, the vehicle-mounted relay device gives, to the other communication lines connected to a communication unit, a notification that relay of the message is prohibited.

Vehicle-mounted relay device for detecting an unauthorized message on a vehicle communication bus

A vehicle-mounted charging device () includes a vehicle-mounted battery (), a vehicle-mounted electronic control unit () and a modem startup control unit. The vehicle-mounted battery is charged with power supplied from external charging equipment via a charging cable (). The vehicle-mounted electronic control unit is configured to perform charging communication, relating to charging of the vehicle-mounted battery, with the external charging equipment using an in-band modem (). The modem startup control unit starts up the in-band modem when the vehicle-mounted electronic control unit performs the charging communication, and that stops a startup of the in-band modem when the vehicle-mounted electronic control unit does not perform the charging communication.

Vehicle-mounted charging device and vehicle charging system

A rewrite detection system, a rewrite detection device and an information processing device can detect unauthorized rewrite to a program or data stored in a storage unit of the information processing device. A rewrite detection device generates a random seed and transmits it to an ECU and a server device. The ECU calculates a hash value using a predetermined hash function on the basis of the received random seed and the storage content of the storage unit, and transmits the hash value to the rewrite detection device. The server device transmits an expectation in response to an inquiry from the rewrite detection device. The rewrite detection device determines whether unauthorized rewrite to a program or data in the ECU has been performed or not in accordance with whether the expectation received from the server device and the hash value received from the ECU coincide with each other or not.

A power supply system and a connector, which can suppress occurrence of crosstalk between a power supply wire, and a control wire and an earth wire in a charging cable that includes the power supply wire, the control wire and the earth wire at the time of connecting a power supplying device with a vehicle having a power storage device to be supplied with power from the power supplying device via the power supply wire and the earth wire to be used for supplying power and the control wire for transmitting a control signal to be used for power supply control of the power storage device, are provided. The ratio of the winding number of a primary coil connected with at least one of the control wire and the earth wire to the winding number of a secondary coil connected with a communication unit that sends and receives a communication signal is set at 1/N (N&#x3e;1) in a system which satisfies VnC&#x3e;VnL or is set at N (N&#x3e;1) in a system which satisfies VnC&#x3c;VnL.

Power supply system and connector

An output circuit sends a control pilot signal generated in a voltage generator to an input circuit. A communication unit is connected between an earthed wire and a control pilot wire on the output side of the output circuit via a bandpass filter. A communication unit is connected between the earthed wire and the control pilot wire on the input side of the input circuit via a bandpass filter. A low-pass filter is interposed between the output circuit and the communication unit. A low-pass filter is interposed between the input circuit and the communication unit.

A vehicle charging apparatus mounted on a vehicle for charging an on-vehicle battery from an external power supply, with a charging plug connected to the vehicle, includes a communication device that is configured to perform communication with a charging facility providing the external power supply with the charging plug connected and locked to the vehicle. An output circuit sends out, to an input circuit, a control pilot signal generated by a voltage source. A voltage transformer is provided to a control pilot line on the output side of the output circuit, and a communication unit transmits and receives communication signals via the voltage transformer. Power line communication system, connector device, and power line communication device

A charging station performs communications by use of a superimposing/separating unit configured by connecting a capacitor, a coupling transformer and a capacitor to branch lines branching out respectively from a control cable and a grounded cable. An electric vehicle performs communications by use of a superimposing/separating unit configured by providing a coupling transformer to the control cable. A capacitor is also connected between the control cable and the grounded cable. Communications are allowed by the configuration of a closed loop circuit comprising the control cable, the branch line, the capacitor, a primary coil of the coupling transformer, the capacitor, the branch line, the grounded cable, the capacitor, and a primary coil of the coupling transformer.

Communication system

Provided are a communication system and a communication device capable of suppressing attenuation of a communication signal superimposed upon a control pilot line. This output circuit () sends a control pilot signal which has been generated at a voltage generation source () to an input circuit (). Between the control pilot line () and the ground line () of the output side of the output circuit (), a communication unit () is connected via a transformer (). Between the control pilot line () and the ground line () of the input side of the input circuit (), a communication unit () is connected via a transformer (). Between the output circuit () and the transformer (), a lowpass filter () is interposed. Between the input circuit () and the transformer (), a lowpass filter () is interposed.

A coupling transformernecessary for power line communication is provided in a connector device. The coupling transformeris formed by winding an AC lineand a signal wirearound an annular toroidal core, which is to be fitted on a tubular partof the connector device. Cutouts for housing the AC lineand the signal wirewound around the toroidal coreare formed in the tubular partof the connector device. Further, a coilis connected to the AC line, a capacitoris connected to an AC line, and the coiland the capacitorare connected to each other with a wireprovided along the AC linesand, whereby a filter circuit is formed.

Power line communications system, power line communication device, and connector device

Distribution apparatuses include databases for storing data received from ECUs, and further include receiving buffers and sending buffers. The distribution apparatus continuously performs, in parallel, an operation for storing received data on the receiving buffer, operation for synchronizing contents of the database with the databases, and an operation for sending data from the sending buffer. Further, the distribution apparatus periodically copies data of the receiving buffer onto the database and data of the database onto the sending buffer.

Relay apparatuses read the attribute values of data, i.e., numerical information representing measurement values, calculation values, control values, etc., from receive buffers in which data received from ECUs connected thereto is stored, and create trunk frames containing the numerical information and transmit and receive trunk frames via trunk lines. The relay apparatuses derive numerical information from trunk frames received from the other relay apparatuses and renew the numerical information on the data stored in their respective databases using the derived numerical information.

When communication is performed with the upstream and downstream sides being defined in the order of relay apparatuses, the relay apparatuses each transmit a keepalive message representing that they are effectively performing communication. When no keepalive message can be received from the relay apparatus and an abnormality is detected thereby, the relay apparatus transmits a keepalive message including abnormality information representing that the abnormality is detected. By receiving the keepalive message including the abnormality information, the relay apparatus detects the abnormality on the upstream side, changes a communication path, and transmits a master candidate notification to the relay apparatus on the downstream side in order that the relay apparatus itself becomes a master.
