An on-board sensor cleaning device is provided for an on-board sensor including a sensing surface. The on-board sensor cleaning device includes an ejection port that ejects fluid toward the sensing surface when the ejection port is disposed outside a sensing range of the on-board sensor. The on-board sensor cleaning device further includes a movable nozzle configured to move the ejection port so that a position of an ejection axis of the ejection port changes.

An on-board sensor cleaning device includes nozzle ports. The on-board sensor cleaning device ejects fluid from the nozzle ports in a predetermined order to clean a sensing surface of an on-board sensor.

Device for cleaning in-vehicle sensor

An electric pump device includes a single motor, a pump that discharges fluid from a discharge port with driving force of the motor, and a flow passage switch that includes outlets configured to be in communication with the discharge port and switches an outlet of the outlets that is in communication with the discharge port with driving force of the motor.

Electric pump device

The on-vehicle optical sensor cleaning system includes a washer pump that feeds a cleaning liquid, an air pump, a nozzle member, and a controller. The air pump includes a discharge valve and discharges air through the discharge valve. The discharge valve opens when air is compressed in the air pump. The nozzle member includes an ejection port that ejects a gas-liquid mixture toward a sensing surface of an on-vehicle optical sensor to remove foreign matter from the sensing surface. The cleaning liquid from the washer pump and the air from the air pump are mixed in the gas-liquid mixture. The controller controls the washer pump and the air pump. The controller is configured so that the gas-liquid mixture is ejected by storing the cleaning liquid in the nozzle member to cover the ejection port and then feeding the air to the nozzle member.

System for cleaning on-vehicle optical sensor and method for the same

An on-board optical sensor cleaning device includes an on-board camera and a discharge port. The on-board camera is mounted on a vehicle. The on-board camera includes a lens. The discharge port discharges fluid toward the lens. The discharged fluid removes foreign material collected on the lens. The lens and the discharge port are relatively movable. At least one of the lens and the discharge port is movable between a cleaning position, where the discharge port is located proximal to an image capturing range center of the on-board camera, and a non-cleaning position, where the discharge port is located farther from the image capturing range center than the cleaning position.

Cleaning device for on-vehicle optical sensor

When receiving no reverse state signal, which indicates that a vehicle is in reverse, a wash control circuit allows the actuation of the wiper motor by the interlocking operation and retains a changeover valve device on the side of the window washing nozzle. When receiving a reverse state signal, the wash control circuit switches the changeover valve device from the window washing nozzle to a camera washing nozzle and inhibits the actuation of the wiper motor by the interlocking operation.

Washing device for vehicle

A branch conduit is branched from a main conduit. A switching device is provided at a location between an upstream side portion of the main conduit and the branch conduit and is adapted to connect the upstream side portion of the main conduit to one of a rear window wash nozzle and a camera wash nozzle. When the switching device receives an electric signal, which indicates placement of a vehicle in a reverse drive mode, the switching device connects the upstream side portion of the main conduit to the camera wash nozzle through the branch conduit upon disconnecting the upstream side portion of the main conduit from the at least one window wash nozzle.

Washer apparatus for vehicle

A controller may drive a solenoid switch valve to switch the same between a first connecting state and a second connecting state in a state where an electric pump is stopped. In the first connecting state, the switch valve connects the pump to a rear washer nozzle. In the second connecting state, the switch valve connects the pump to a camera washer nozzle. The controller may also display a captured image of an onboard camera and a camera wash touch panel switch on a display when the controller receives a reverse mode signal. The controller may drive the pump to feed the washer fluid to the camera washer nozzle when the controller receives a command signal from the camera wash touch panel switch.

An auxiliary mechanism for a seat belt apparatus includes a support portion and a guide portion. The support portion supports a webbing in a manner drawable to the front of a seat back. The support portion is movable between a storage position, which is near the seat back, and a projection position, which is spaced further apart from the seat back than the storage position to draw out the webbing toward the front of the seat back. The guide portion guides the movement of the support portion between the storage position and the projection position, and then continuously guides the movement of the support portion along a vertical direction of the seat back at the storage position.

A rotatable rod includes a plurality of cylindrical center rods and a plurality of joints. Each joint connects between corresponding two of the plurality of center rods. Each of opposed ends of each center rod has at least one engaging projection, which projects from the end of the center rod in a direction parallel to an axial direction of the center rod. Each of opposed ends of each joint has at least one engaging recess, each of which is engaged with a corresponding one of the at least one engaging projection that is provided in an adjacent one of the ends of a corresponding one of the plurality of center rods.

A stator includes first and second piezoelectric elements, a flexible aluminum-based connective arrangement and upper and lower aluminum-based metal blocks. The flexible aluminum-based connective arrangement includes first to fourth aluminum-based electrodes, which apply a voltage to the piezoelectric elements to generate a vibration. Each aluminum-based electrode is made of one of aluminum and an aluminum alloy and directly contacts a corresponding one of axial ends of the piezoelectric elements. Each aluminum-based metal block is made of one of aluminum and an aluminum alloy. The piezoelectric elements and the aluminum-based electrodes are interposed between the aluminum-based metal blocks.

Ultrasonic motor having integrated electrodes and manufacturing method of the same

A control apparatus controls an ultrasonic motor. The ultrasonic motor includes a stator, a piezoelectric element provided in the stator, and a rotor. The rotor is slidably pressed against the stator. When a driving high frequency voltage is applied to the piezoelectric element, the stator is vibrated to rotate the rotor. The control apparatus includes measuring means. The measuring means changes the frequency of a searching high frequency voltage, the searching high frequency voltage being lower than the driving high frequency voltage, thereby measuring a resonance frequency of the ultrasonic motor. The control apparatus drives the motor in a favorable manner.
