Connector

A connector includes a first housing and a second housing having facing surfaces facing each other. One of the first and second housings includes a receiving portion open forward in a front end part and the other includes a rotating portion to be arranged in the receiving portion in the front end part. The second housing is rotated with respect to the first housing about an axis passing through the rotating portion in the receiving portion along a width direction and is coupled to the first housing. The first housing includes a lock receiving portion open forward and rearward in the front end part. The second housing includes a locking portion projecting toward the first housing and to be fit to the lock receiving portion in the front end part. The locking portion includes a wide restricting portion, and the lock receiving portion includes a wide restriction receiving portion.

A first housingis arranged in a mounting holeof a panel. The first housingincludes a base portion, a coupling portionlocated forward of the base portion, a linking portionlinking between the base portionand the coupling portion, and a lock armprojecting rearward toward the base portionfrom the coupling portion. The lock armhas a lock surfaceto be arranged to contact a front surface of the panel. The lock armand the linking portionare both shaped to be resiliently deformable.

A rubber plug A includes a tubular seal functioning portionthrough which a wireis passed, and a tubular portionthrough which the wireis passed. The seal functioning portionexhibits a sealing function by being held resiliently in close contact with an inner peripheral surface of a terminal accommodation chamberand an outer peripheral surface of the wire. The tubular portionis disposed behind the seal functioning portion. Weight portionsrelatively displaceable with respect to the tubular portionare formed on the outer periphery of the tubular portion

Rubber plug wire seal

A rubber plug has a tubular sealing function portion that allows an electric wire to pass through the tubular sealing function portion and a tubular low-rigidity portion that allows the electric wire to pass through the low-rigidity portion. The sealing function portion exhibits sealing performance by elastically coming into close contact with the inner peripheral surface of the terminal accommodating chamber and the outer peripheral surface of the electric wire. The low-rigidity portion has a lower rigidity than the sealing function portion, and is arranged rearward of the sealing function portion.

Rubber plug

A first housingincludes a resiliently deformable lock arm. The lock armhas a lock surfaceto be arranged to contact a front surface of a panelwith the first housingarranged in a mounting holeof the panel. A second housingincludes a space portioninto which an arm plateof a leveris arranged, leg portionsrising from the side of an outer wallof the space portionwhile facing each other, and a bridge portionextending between the leg portionsfacing each other. The bridge portionincludes a releasing portioncapable of releasing a state where the lock surfaceis in contact with the front surface of the panel

A housing () is formed with a partial locking stopper () and a full locking stopper (). A slide lever () (operating member) is formed with a single hook () having a partial locking contact surface () and a full locking contact surface (). The partial locking contact surface () is at an acute angle to a sliding direction of the slide lever () and restricts a movement of the slide lever () at the partial locking position in a direction separating from the housing () by contacting the partial locking stopper (). The full locking contact surface () is at an obtuse angle to the sliding direction of the slide lever () and restricts a movement of the slide lever () at the full locking position toward the partial locking position by contacting the full locking stopper () in a semi-locked state.

A connector includes a first housing () and a second housing () connectable to each other. The second housing () includes two walls () facing each other. The first housing () includes a receptacle () defining a fitting space (), two side walls () connected to both circumferential ends of the receptacle () and a lock arm () arranged between the side walls (). Entrance spaces () into which the walls () enter are defined between the side walls () and the lock arm () to communicate with the fitting space (). Protrusions () configured to contact the walls () are provided on inner surfaces of the side walls ().

It is aimed to provide a joint connector capable of holding a plurality of housings and a busbar without complicating the entire configuration. A joint connector includes a first housing () configured to accommodate first terminals (), a second housing () configured to accommodate second terminals () and be united with the first housing (), and a busbar () having first tabs () to be connected to the first terminals () and second tabs () to be connected to the second terminals (). The busbar () includes a coupling portion () coupling the side of the first tabsand the side of the second tabs (), first fixing portions () to be fixed to the first housing () and second fixing portions () to be fixed to the second housing ().

Two connectors electro-mechanically joined by a busbar

A joint connector includes a plurality of target terminals (), a joint terminal () connected to the respective target terminals () for short-circuiting the respective target terminals (), and a housing () for accommodating the respective target terminals (). The target terminal () includes a coupling portion () located between a body portion () and a crimping portion () to couple the both and having a concave cross-section. The joint terminal () includes a base portion () and a plurality of contact pieces () projecting from the base portion () and moves to an entrance position where the respective contact pieces () are inserted into the coupling portions () of the respective target terminals () after the respective target terminalsare accommodated into the housing (). Each contact piece () resiliently contacts an inner surface of the corresponding coupling portionat the entrance position.

Joint connector

A split connector has a frame () fittable to a mating connector (B). A mounting portion () penetrates the frame () in a connecting direction to the mating connector (B), and lock portions () are formed on two facing sides of opening edge parts of the mounting portion (). A support () is disposed between the lock portions () in an opening area of the mounting portion (). A sub-connector () is to be mounted into the mounting portion () while holding terminal fittings (). Two first locks () are formed on the sub-connector () and hold the sub-connector () in the mounting portion () by being locked to the lock portions (). A second lock () is formed on the sub-connector () and is lockable to the support () in a direction opposite to the connecting direction to the mating connector (B).

Split connector

A housing () has a mounting groove () between a first cavity (A) in a first stage and second cavities (B) in a second stage. A first communication portion (A) allows communication between the mounting groove () and the first cavity (A), Second communication portions (B) allow communication between the mounting groove () and the second cavities (B). A first terminal (A) is accommodated in the first cavity (A), and second terminals (B) are accommodated in the second cavities (B). A busbar () includes a plate-shaped body () accommodated in the mounting groove (). A first contact piece (A) integrally projects from the busbar body () toward the first stage and enters the communication portion (A) to contact the first terminal (A), and second contact pieces (B) integrally project from the busbar body () toward the second stage and enter the communication portions (B) and contact the second terminals (B).

Joint connector and busbar

A connector () includes a housing () to which a mating housing () is to be connected from front, side walls () constituting an outer surface of the housing () and adjacent to upper and lower surfaces via corners (), and steps () provided from the side walls () to the corners () and becoming gradually thicker in a vertical direction and a lateral direction toward a front side.

A housing structure is prevented from becoming complicated. A connector (A) includes: a housing () having a terminal accommodation chamber (); a terminal fitting () inserted into the terminal accommodation chamber (); a lance () which can lock the terminal fitting () in a detachment prevention state; a front retainer (); a mold removal space () which serves to mold the lance (); and a detection hole () formed in the front retainer (), allowing insertion of a probe P from the front side and communicating with the terminal accommodation chamber () via the mold removal space ().

A connector (A) includes a resiliently deformable resilient receiving portion () arranged to traverse an opening area of a lock hole () formed in a holder () and linked to an inner surface of the lock hole () at links () on opposite ends in a longitudinal direction. A locking rib () projects from a lock projection () formed in a housing () and extends along the longitudinal direction of the resilient receiving portion (). The locking rib () causes the resilient receiving portion () to curve and deform in the process of assembling the housing () and the holder (). Escaping edges () are formed on opposite longitudinal ends of a projecting edge () of the locking rib (). The escaping edges () are oblique to the longitudinal direction of the resilient receiving portion () that is not resiliently deformed, and substantially face the links ().
