The power generation device disclosed in the present specification includes a first rotating body, a second rotating body, a differential device, and a generator. The first rotating body and the second rotating body convert energy of the fluid into rotational motion. The differential device is connected to the first rotating body via a first transmission path, and is connected to the second rotating body via a second transmission path, and combines and outputs the rotational motion of the first rotating body and the rotational motion of the second rotating body. The generator converts rotational motion output from the differential device into electrical energy. The first rotating body and the second rotating body are arranged along the first direction. The differential device is disposed offset from the first rotating body and the second rotating body in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction.

In a case where the output torque has a negative value, when downshift is not requested by an operation on the shift actuator, the gear shift controlling portion prohibits a downshift process of downshifting the gear ratio of the automatic transmission, but when downshift is requested by an operation on the shift actuator, the gear shift controlling portion permits execution of the downshift process.

A breather device that communicates an inside of a case with an outside of the case in a vertical direction includes a cylindrical body having a hollow portion that extends in the vertical direction, a stopper inserted in the hollow portion, and a blocking body that is located in a space defined by the stopper in the hollow portion, and blocks a communicating hole provided in a lower part of the cylindrical body as viewed in the vertical direction. The communicating hole ceases to be blocked when the pressure inside the case exceeds a first predetermined value, and the blocking body moves upward in the vertical direction in the space.

Breather device

A control apparatus for a hybrid vehicle in which a friction clutch and a one-way clutch are disposed in parallel with each other between an engine and an electric motor. The transmission is disposed between the electric motor and drive wheels. The friction clutch connects and disconnects between the engine and the electric motor. The one-way clutch transmits a drive force in a direction from the engine toward the electric motor. The vehicle runs in (i) an electric-motor running mode with operation of the electric motor or (ii) a hybrid running mode with operation of the engine. The control apparatus is configured, upon execution of a shift-up action of the transmission with the hybrid running mode being selected and with the friction clutch being in a non-engaged state, to execute a shift-up action control by which the shift-up action starts to be executed after the friction clutch has been engaged.

The cover is configured to be driven rotatably about the axis of the fluid transmission device integrally with a drive plate.
