A control device controls a switching element that is connected to a conductor and that executes a switching operation for causing the conductor to switch between conductive and non-conductive states. The control device includes an element controller and a current value measurer. When a target conduction ratio is a positive value lower than 1, the element controller controls the switching element to be in an on-state during a period defined by a switching cycle and a detective conduction ratio than the target conduction ratio and equal to or lower than 1, in at least one cycle that is each the switching cycle. The current value measurer measures a value of direct current flowing in the conductor, based on a detected current value that is digital data generated in every sampling cycle independent from the switching cycle by detection of a current sensor signal output from a current sensor.

Plants, plant cells, and seeds are described herein that grow well and are resistant to environmental stresses such as drought and insects, where the plants have one or more mutations that reduce or eliminate the interaction of MYC transcription factors with the JAZ proteins. A vehicle driving support apparatus to be applied to a vehicle comprises a running environment recognizer; a preceding vehicle information acquirer that detects a vehicle class and variation in behavior of a preceding vehicle; an amount-of-steering control calculator that calculates an amount of steering control to cause the vehicle to run along a target path of travel set on a lane; a disturbance estimation control calculator that estimates lateral-direction disturbance to calculate an amount of steering against the disturbance based on the estimated disturbance; and a coordination controller that corrects the amount of steering control with the amount of steering. If a rolling direction and a lateral motion direction of the preceding vehicle coincide with each other, the disturbance estimation control calculator determines that the variation in the behavior of the preceding vehicle is caused by the disturbance, and calculates the amount of steering.

A braking control apparatus to be installed an electric vehicle includes an acceleration and deceleration operation member, a controller, and a recognizer. The controller controls an amount of power regenerated by a rotary electric machine driven by wheels in accordance with the operation amount in the second direction. The recognizer recognizes a preceding vehicle traveling ahead of the electric vehicle. Upon detection of the preceding vehicle at a relative distance from the electric vehicle that is equal to or less than a threshold, the controller performs braking suppression control to decrease the amount of power regenerated in accordance with the operation amount in the second direction.
