A non-invasive substance analysis apparatus includes: a sample support plate; an excitation light source; and a temperature sensor. The sample support plate has a main surface including a sample placement region, and a main surface opposite to the main surface. The temperature sensor is provided on the main surface. A through hole extending from the sample placement region to the main surface is provided in the sample support plate. Excitation light emitted from the excitation light source is applied to a sample placed on the sample placement region through the through hole.

Non-invasive substance analysis apparatus

A biological component measurement apparatus includes an optical medium, a high thermal conductive film, an excitation light source, a probe light source, and a light position detector. The high thermal conductive film is higher in thermal conductivity than the optical medium, and is provided on a sample placement surface of the optical medium. The high thermal conductive film spreads heat generated from the sample irradiated with excitation light more in a first direction than in a second direction. The first direction is a traveling direction of probe light in plan view of the sample placement surface. The second direction is a direction orthogonal to the first direction in plan view of the sample placement surface.

Biological component measurement apparatus

A component measurement device for measuring a given component contained in a sample. Component measurement device and component measurement method

A biological component measurement apparatus includes an optical medium, an excitation light source, a probe light source, and a light position detector. The optical medium includes a sample placement surface. The excitation light source emits excitation light toward a sample placed on the sample placement surface. The probe light source emits probe light that travels through the optical medium. The light position detector detects the position of the probe light outgoing from the optical medium. The optical medium is formed from chalcogenide glass.

In a biological component measurement device according to the present disclosure, a modulation unit intensity-modulates excitation light emitted from an excitation light source and the intensity-modulated excitation light is incident to an optical medium. The modulation unit switches a plurality of modulation frequencies in order from a low frequency to a high frequency. The plurality of modulation frequencies include a first frequency and a second frequency higher than the first frequency. A light position detector detects a position of probe light when the sample is irradiated with excitation light intensity-modulated at the first frequency and a position of probe light when the sample is irradiated with excitation light intensity-modulated at the second frequency. The biological component acquisition unit measures a biological component of the sample based on the position of the probe light at the first frequency and the position of the probe light at the second frequency.

The haptic presentation touch panel includes detection electrodes, a first dielectric layer covering the detection electrodes, haptic electrodes arranged not to overlap the detection electrodes in plan view, and a second dielectric layer covering the haptic electrodes, and the second dielectric layer has a greater relative permittivity than the first dielectric layer. Propagation of noise can thereby be suppressed even when a haptic presentation intensity is increased, and the location detection sensitivity can be secured.

A liquid crystal display device includes a gate electrode, a first insulating film, an element layer, a first transparent electrode, and a second transparent electrode. The first insulating film includes a part that covers the gate electrode. The element layer is directly disposed on the first insulating film, includes a channel region that faces the gate electrode across the first insulating film, and is made of a transparent oxide. The first transparent electrode is directly disposed on the first insulating film while being separated from the element layer, and has the same metal composition as the metal composition of the element layer. The second transparent electrode forms a storage capacitance with the first transparent electrode by facing the first transparent electrode while being electrically insulated from the first transparent electrode.

Liquid crystal display device and manufacturing method thereof

Cells including a first electrode layer, a photoelectric conversion layer, and a second electrode layer on a translucent substrate are connected. Between adjacent cells, a first separating groove separates the first electrode layer, a second separating groove separates the second electrode layer, and a connecting groove electrically connects the second electrode layer of a cell and the first electrode layer of the other. A reflective film is provided on the second electrode layer having a transparent conductive film and a metal film stacked in this order on the photoelectric conversion layer and at least the metal film is patterned into lines. The metal film is patterned into lines with a same width within the connecting groove and is connected to the first electrode layer of the adjacent cell. The reflective film is provided in the connecting groove where the metal film is not formed and in the second separating groove.

Thin-film solar battery and manufacturing method thereof

A solar battery includes a transparent electrode and a collector electrode in this order on the surface of a light incident surface side of a photoelectric conversion layer. The collector electrode is formed in a predetermined region on the photoelectric conversion layer and a first transparent electrode of the transparent electrode is formed only in a region right under the collector electrode in contact with the photoelectric conversion layer and the collector electrode. A second transparent electrode of the transparent electrode is formed in a region on the photoelectric conversion layer where the collector electrode is not formed and on the collector electrode in contact with the photoelectric conversion layer or the collector electrode. The carrier concentration of the first transparent electrode is higher than the carrier concentration of the second transparent electrode.

This invention relates to a method of manufacturing a substrate for photoelectric conversion device including, on a substrate, a first electrode layer formed of a transparent conductive material. The method includes a first transparent conductive film forming step of forming a first transparent conductive film on the substrate, a second transparent conductive film forming step of forming a second transparent conductive film under a film forming condition that an etching rate is low compared with the first transparent conductive film at a later etching step, and an etching step of wet-etching the second and first transparent conductive films to form recesses that pierce through at least the second transparent conductive film, with the bottoms of the recesses being present in the first transparent conductive film.
