A fuel supply device includes a fuel tank, a delivery pipe in which gas fuel to be supplied to a fuel injection valve is stored, a supply passage through which the fuel gas supplied from the fuel tank to the delivery pipe flows, a shut-off valve provided in the supply passage, an oil supply device that supplies oil to a downstream portion of the supply passage, and a controller. The controller executes an oil supply process during operation of the internal combustion engine to close the shut-off valve to stop the supply of the gas fuel to the delivery pipe, and supply the oil to the downstream portion by the oil supply device when the pressure in the delivery pipe has dropped.

Fuel supply device

A fuel supply device for an internal combustion engine includes a tank that stores gas fuel, a fuel injection valve that supplies gas fuel to a cylinder, a fuel pipe that supplies gas fuel in the tank to the fuel injection valve, a pressure reducing valve provided downstream of the tank in the fuel pipe, a second shut-off valve as an electromagnetic valve that is provided downstream of the pressure reducing valve in the fuel pipe so as to open and close the fuel pipe, and a controller. A pressure reduced by the pressure reducing valve is defined as an outlet-side pressure. The pressure reducing valve includes a valve member that opens and closes in accordance with an increase and a decrease in the outlet-side pressure. The controller executes a valve closing process of closing the second shut-off valve when a stop condition for stopping fuel injection of the fuel injection valve is met.

Fuel supply device for internal combustion engine

An internal combustion engine includes a direct injection valve that directly inject gaseous fuel from an injection hole into a cylinder by separating a needle from a seat, and a blow-by gas treating device that recirculates blow-by gas from a crankcase to an intake passage. The control device executes a suction process of suctioning gas in the cylinder into an injection hole of the direct injection valve when the blow-by gas is being recirculated by the blow-by gas processing device.

Fuel injection control device for internal combustion engine

A controller is used for an internal combustion engine including a cylinder and a direct injection valve that injects gaseous fuel into the cylinder. A CPU of the controller executes acquisition of an in-cylinder pressure that is a pressure in the cylinder during one combustion cycle and a supply fuel pressure that is a pressure of the gaseous fuel supplied to the direct injection valve, and calculation of a backflow rate that is an amount of combustion gas flowing into the direct injection valve from the cylinder during one combustion cycle of the cylinder. In the calculation of the backflow rate, the CPU calculates the backflow rate such that the backflow rate becomes larger as the in-cylinder pressure increases and the backflow rate becomes larger as the supply fuel pressure decreases.

Controller and control method for internal combustion engine

A fuel injection control device is configured to control fuel injection of an injector attached to a cylinder head of an internal combustion engine and coupled to a delivery pipe. The fuel injection control device includes processing circuitry configured to execute an injection duration calculation process of calculating an injection duration of the injector required for injection of a requested amount of fuel. The injection duration calculation process includes calculating the injection duration such that the injection duration is longer when a temperature difference between the cylinder head and the delivery pipe is a first value than when the temperature difference is a second value smaller than the first value.

Fuel injection control device

An engine controller, an engine control method, and a storage medium are provided. An intake valve closes after a compression stroke starts. One of a predetermined period before the compression stroke starts and a predetermined period after the intake valve closes is a first injection period and the other one is a second injection period. A pre-ignition prevention injection process controls an injector such that fuel corresponding to a requested injection amount is injected by dividing an injection period into the first injection period and the second injection period when a period required for fuel injection corresponding to the requested injection amount is longer than the first injection period.

An internal combustion engine includes an injector for injecting gaseous fuel and an inflow passage. The injector includes a nozzle hole configured to inject gaseous fuel, a nozzle valve configured to open and close the nozzle hole, and a seat surface on which the nozzle valve is seated. An inflow passage for conducting blow-by gas in a crankcase into the nozzle hole.

Internal combustion engine

A gaseous fuel supply device includes processing circuitry configured to control a direct injection valve and a shut-off valve. The processing circuitry determines an energization time for the direct injection valve based on a pressure of gaseous fuel supplied from a supply passage to the direct injection valve. When a temperature of the direct injection valve becomes greater than a temperature determination value, the processing circuitry starts an opening-closing process that repeatedly switches the shut-off valve between a closed state and an open state. The opening-closing process is a process that brings the shut-off valve into the closed state when the pressure of the gaseous fuel supplied to the direct injection valve is greater than a pressure lower limit value and brings the shut-off valve into the open state when the pressure of the gaseous fuel becomes less than or equal to the pressure lower limit value.

Gaseous fuel supply device

A fuel supply device includes a fuel injection valve, a delivery pipe, a relief passage, a first valve, and a second valve. The fuel injection valve injects gas fuel. The delivery pipe supplies the gas fuel to the fuel injection valve. The relief passage connects an intake passage of an internal combustion engine and the delivery pipe. The first valve is configured to supply the gas fuel in the delivery pipe to the relief passage. The second valve is arranged in the relief passage. The second valve opens when a downstream pressure becomes lower than an upstream pressure by an amount that is greater than or equal to a specified pressure determined in advance.

A fuel supplying device for an internal combustion engine includes a tank configured to store a gaseous fuel, a fuel injection valve configured to supply the gaseous fuel to a cylinder of the internal combustion engine, a fuel passage configured to supply the gaseous fuel in the tank to the fuel injection valve, and a pressure reduction valve provided in the fuel passage. The fuel passage has a double-walled pipe structure including an inner pipe through which the gaseous fuel flows and an outer pipe that has an inner diameter larger than the inner pipe and covers the inner pipe. The fuel passage is configured such that a coolant is supplied to a space between the outer pipe and the inner pipe.

Fuel supplying device for internal combustion engine

A controller for an internal combustion engine is configured to calculate a water collection amount based on a temperature of intake air flowing through an intake passage, the water collection amount being an amount of water that collects on a wall surface of the intake passage, cause a water injection valve to inject water to the intake passage when an intake valve is open, and cause the water injection valve to inject water when the intake valve is closed in addition to when the intake valve is open in a case in which the water collection amount is less than a specified value that has been defined in advance.

An internal combustion engine includes an asynchronous injection valve configured to inject water into an intake port when one or more intake valves are closed and a synchronous injection valve configured to inject water into the intake port when the one or more intake valves are open. The asynchronous injection valve and the synchronous injection valve are configured to have injection characteristics that are different between the asynchronous injection valve and the synchronous injection valve.

A guiding portion of an intake valve head includes a specific tangent line, which, when the intake valve is in a fully open state, intersects with at least one selected from an ignition plug and a closed exhaust valve. The tangent line that minimizes the specific angle is the specific tangent line.

A controller for an internal combustion engine is configured to execute: a pressure calculation process that calculates pressure of gas in a crank chamber based on a running state of the internal combustion engine; a first injection process that causes a water injection valve to inject a first injection amount of water when an intake valve is open; and a second injection process that causes the water injection valve to inject a second injection amount of water when the intake valve is closed. The controller is further configured to set a ratio of the first injection amount to a sum of the first injection amount and the second injection amount to a smaller value when the pressure is greater than or equal to a specified value than when the pressure is less than the specified value.

A controller for an internal combustion engine is configured to execute a first injection process that causes a water injection valve to inject water when an intake valve is open and a second injection process that causes the water injection valve to inject water when the intake valve is closed. The controller is further configured to set a pressure of the water supplied to the water injection valve to be higher in the second injection process than in the first injection process.
