A vehicle control apparatus includes a steering device, a steering controller, a steering input member, a front-rear driving force distribution unit, and a behavior controller. The steering device steers front wheels of a vehicle. The steering controller controls and causes the steering device to perform steering automatically. The steering input member receives a steering operation inputted by a driver. The front-rear driving force distribution unit changes a front-rear driving force distribution ratio. The behavior controller predicts, if a steering operation is performed via the steering input member during the automatic steering, a behavior of the vehicle to be exhibited after steering corresponding to the steering operation, and causes, if an oversteer behavior is predicted to occur, the front-rear driving force distribution unit to change the driving force distribution ratio to a front-wheel biased distribution ratio as compared with a case where the oversteer behavior is not predicted to occur.

A braking control device includes a target vehicle speed setting unit, a braking power control unit, and a low friction coefficient region recognition unit. The low friction coefficient region recognition unit recognizes a low friction coefficient region of a road surface between a current position of an own vehicle and a target position. The braking power control unit estimates a maximum deceleration rate assuming braking to be started after passage through the low friction coefficient region to cause deceleration to a target vehicle speed at the target position. On the condition that the maximum deceleration rate is smaller than a predetermined upper limit on a deceleration rate, the braking power control unit causes a start of generation of braking power after the passage through the low friction coefficient region.

A braking control apparatus to be installed an electric vehicle includes an acceleration and deceleration operation member, a controller, and a recognizer. The acceleration and deceleration operation member receives an acceleration request in accordance with an operation amount in a first direction from a neutral position, and receive a deceleration request in accordance with an operation amount in a second direction from the neutral position. The controller controls an amount of power regenerated by a rotary electric machine driven by wheels in accordance with the operation amount in the second direction. The recognizer recognizes a preceding vehicle traveling ahead of the electric vehicle. Upon detection of the preceding vehicle at a relative distance from the electric vehicle that is equal to or less than a threshold, the controller performs braking suppression control to decrease the amount of power regenerated in accordance with the operation amount in the second direction.

A base station congestion management includes at least one data management unit to which a plurality of communication monitoring apparatuses input the base station bandwidth information and the subscriber information, a shared data store to store base station bandwidth usage information and information of list of subscriber existing within base station coverage, and a congestion management unit to determine whether congestion is occurring at the base station. The data management unit calculates a total value of a used bandwidth for each base station, updates the base station bandwidth usage information, and updates the list of subscriber identification information of a user terminal connected with the base station. The congestion management unit identifies the subscriber identification information of the user terminal connected with the base station where congestion is occurring.

In a data base system of master-slave configuration, the update result can be accessed also on slave side with the access request immediately after the particular update. The data base system DBS includes a master DB computer and at least a slave DB computer. Thus, the lost update problem is solved while at the same time realizing a high-speed process.

When a trigger and a method for changing partition definition information have been defined, a DBMS monitors the occurrence of the trigger. When the occurrence of the trigger is detected, a specified partition change is executed automatically. When the partition change is executed, migrations of data among storage areas are executed in parallel as long as the migration source storage area and the migration destination storage area of one piece of the data do not overlap those of another piece of the data.

In a storage management system for managing a storage device for storing data, management information for managing the storage device, area assignment information for managing an area assignment state of the storage device, and history information for managing a history on area assuring and release are held. Further, an assignment request for temporarily using an area is received in association with designation of an area size and a using period. It is determined whether or not the requested area can be assigned by referring to information calculated from the held history information. An area with a designated size at a designated period is assigned to a request source if the area can be assigned as a result of the determination. In the determination, transition of a used amount of a storage is obtained from the history information, and it is determined based on the transition of the used amount of the storage whether or not the designated area can be assigned at the designated period.

A method of eliminating disturbance of database storage areas is provided, which includes the steps of: checking if it is time to execute database storage status analysis; analyzing a state of database storage areas and outputting values corresponding to disturbance factors as a status analysis result; checking whether each of the disturbance factors has reached a state that requires to be eliminated; and referring to an association table matching disturbance resolution processing with factors to be eliminated by the processing and selecting appropriate processing that can eliminate the disturbance caused by the factor.
