A main object of the present disclosure is to provide an all solid state battery wherein interface resistance between a current collector and an active material layer is low. In the present disclosure, the above object is achieved by providing an all solid state battery comprising: an electrode including a current collector, an electron conductive layer, and an active material layer, in this order, and a solid electrolyte layer formed on the active material layer side of the electrode, and the electron conductive layer is an agglutinate of metal particles or a metal foil, and electron conductivity of the electron conductive layer is 1×10S/cm or more at 25° C.

All solid state battery

A sulfide all-solid-state battery which is capable of absorbing heat by a heat absorbing layer at abnormal heat generation and maintaining capacity of a battery at a high level for a long time use is provided. The sulfide all-solid-state battery contains at least one unit cell, at least one heat absorbing layer, a battery case which accommodates the unit cell and the heat absorbing layer, the unit cell contains sulfide solid electrolyte, the heat absorbing layer contains at least one organic heat absorbing material selected from the group consisting of sugar alcohols and hydrocarbons, and the heat absorbing layer does not contain an inorganic hydrate.

Sulfide all-solid-state battery

A main object of the present disclosure is to provide an all solid state battery wherein interface resistance between a current collector and an active material layer is low. In the present disclosure, the above object is achieved by providing an all solid state battery comprising: an electrode including a current collector, an electron conductive layer, and an active material layer, in this order, and a solid electrolyte layer formed on the active material layer side of the electrode, and the electron conductive layer is an agglutinate of metal particles or a metal foil, and electron conductivity of the electron conductive layer is 1&#xd7;10S/cm or more at 25&#xb0; C.

All solid state battery and method for producing same

In the stacked battery, a short-circuit current shunt part is electrically connected to the electric elements, and an insulating layer of the short-circuit current shunt part is constituted of material having a predetermined melting point or glass transition temperature. When heat is excessively generated in the battery due to internal short circuits etc. and the temperature of the battery reaches the melting point of the insulating layer, the insulating layer melts and its shape is changed to short-circuit the short-circuit current shunt part, and current flows from the electric elements into the short-circuit current shunt part. To measure the current flowing into the short-circuit current shunt part makes it possible to easily grasp excessive heat generation of the battery to suppress deterioration of the battery due to heat generation.

Stacked battery

An electrode for solid-state batteries, comprising a PTC resistor layer, and a solid-state battery comprising the electrode. The electrode may be an electrode for solid-state batteries, wherein the electrode comprises an electrode active material layer, a current collector and a PTC resistor layer disposed between the electrode active material layer and the current collector; wherein the PTC resistor layer contains an electroconductive material, an insulating inorganic substance and a polymer; and wherein a porosity of the PTC resistor layer is from 5% to 13%.

Electrode for solid-state batteries and solid-state battery

Provided is a method for producing an electrode for solid-state batteries which comprises a PTC resistor layer containing an insulating inorganic substance and in which electronic resistance is low. The production method is a method for producing an electrode for solid-state batteries, wherein the method is a method for producing an electrode for use in a solid-state battery comprising a cathode, an anode and an electrolyte layer disposed between the cathode and the anode; wherein the electrode is at least one of the cathode and the anode, and the electrode comprises a current collector, an electrode active material layer and a PTC resistor layer disposed between the current collector and the electrode active material layer.

Method for producing electrode for solid-state batteries

A main object of the present disclosure is to provide a stacked battery in which an unevenness of short circuit resistance among a plurality of cells is suppressed. The present disclosure achieves the object by providing a stacked battery comprising: a plurality of cells in a thickness direction, wherein the plurality of cells are electrically connected in parallel; each of the plurality of cells includes a cathode current collector, a cathode active material layer, a solid electrolyte layer, an anode active material layer, and an anode current collector, in this order; the stacked battery includes a surface-side cell that is located on a surface side of the stacked battery, and a center-side cell that is located on a center side rather than the surface-side cell; and a contact resistance between the cathode current collector and the anode current collector in the surface-side cell is more than a contact resistance between the cathode current collector and the anode current collector in the center-side cell.

An electrode for solid-state batteries, comprising a PTC resistor layer, and a solid-state battery comprising the electrode. The electrode may be an electrode for solid-state batteries, wherein the electrode comprises an electrode active material layer, a current collector and a PTC resistor layer which is disposed between the electrode active material layer and the current collector and which is in contact with the electrode active material layer; wherein the PTC resistor layer contains an electroconductive material, an insulating inorganic substance and a polymer; and wherein a surface roughness Ra of an electrode active material layer-contacting surface of the PTC resistor layer, is 1.1 &#x3bc;m or less.

An electrode for solid-state batteries, comprising a PTC resistor layer, and a solid-state battery comprising the electrode. The electrode may be an electrode for solid-state batteries, wherein the electrode comprises an electrode active material layer, a current collector and a PTC resistor layer which is disposed between the electrode active material layer and the current collector and which is in contact with the electrode active material layer; wherein the PTC resistor layer contains a carbon-containing electroconductive material, an insulating inorganic substance and a fluorine-containing polymer.

Disclosed is a stacked battery that can flow a larger rounding current in a short-circuit current shunt part than in an electric element when a short circuit occurs in the short-circuit current shunt part and the electric element in nailing, the stacked battery in which an electrical resistance of a current collector tab of the short-circuit current shunt part is smaller than an electrical resistance of a current collector tab of the electric element.
