There is provided a heating device that is capable of increasing heating efficiency of a heating target by microwave irradiation. The heating device includes a microwave irradiator configured to irradiate a heating target with microwaves, and a collector configured to collect fluid generated from the heating target that is irradiated with the microwaves. The microwaves are electromagnetic waves with a frequency of 300 MHz to 30 GHz, for example. The heating target includes metal, for example. Furthermore, the heating target includes non-metal such as oil, organic compound, and water, for example. When the heating target is irradiated with the microwaves, the heating target is heated, and non-metal with lower melting point and boiling point than metal becomes fluid and is separated from the heating target.

Heating device

A wireless power feeding system includes a power transmission device and a power reception device. A power transmission circuit in the power transmission device switches high-frequency power supplied to a power transmission coil. When a reset IC in the power reception device detects switching of high-frequency power by the power transmission circuit, the power reception device changes an input impedance seen from the power transmission circuit to the side where a load circuit is disposed on the basis of the content of a signal to be transmitted to the power transmission device. The power transmission device detects the change in the input impedance and obtains the content of the signal.

Wireless power feeding system

An operation-position detector having a tube that allows an ultrasonic signal to propagate therethrough. The tube has a plurality of holes capable of being selectively closed or opened by an operation and is provided with an ultrasonic transmitter-receiver arranged at a first end thereof. A signal processor drives the ultrasonic transmitter-receiver and causes an ultrasonic signal to propagate through the inside of the tube, receives a reflection signal corresponding to a closed or open state of each of the holes, and detects the state of each hole on the basis of the reflection signal, thereby detecting the operation position of an operation conducted by an operator.

Operation-position detector and application thereof

The transmission of a detection wave and the reception of a reflected wave are periodically repeated every transmission period. One received signal is compared with another received signal at a similar corresponding comparison periods in different transmission periods of a receiving time of the reflected wave. Switching between the comparison periods is performed each time the transmission period is updated. A waveform of a received signal in a block Acorresponding to a reflected wave of an ultrasonic signal transmitted in a first transmission period is stored. The absolute values of differences between the waveform of a received signal in a block Acorresponding to a reflected wave of an ultrasonic signal transmitted in a second transmission period and the stored waveform of the received signal in the block Aare accumulated. The waveform of a received signal in a block Bis stored. The absolute values of differences between the waveform of a received signal in a block Bcorresponding to a reflected wave of an ultrasonic signal transmitted in a third transmission period and the stored waveform of the received signal in the block Bare accumulated. Similar processing is performed in each block and a final accumulated value is set as the amount of change.
