The present invention provides a method for preserving a leuco chromogen-containing aqueous solution comprising: adding at least one acid compound selected from the group consisting of a phosphoric acid compound, a carboxylic acid compound, a sulfonic acid compound, and a sulfuric acid compound to a leuco chromogen-containing aqueous solution; a method for stabilizing a leuco chromogen in an aqueous solution comprising: adding at least one acid compound selected from the group consisting of a phosphoric acid compound, a carboxylic acid compound, a sulfonic acid compound, and a sulfuric acid compound to a leuco chromogen-containing aqueous solution; and a liquid reagent comprising a leuco chromogen and at least one acid compound selected from the group consisting of a phosphoric acid compound, a carboxylic acid compound, a sulfonic acid compound, and a sulfuric acid compound.

Method for preserving leuco chromogen-containing aqueous solution

A blood purification apparatus that includes a blood circuit including an arterial blood circuit and a venous blood circuit and through which blood of a patient is allowed to extracorporeally circulate; a blood purification unit connected to and provided between the arterial blood circuit and the venous blood circuit and that purifies the blood flowing through the blood circuit; a blood pump provided to the arterial blood circuit and that delivers the blood of the patient from a distal end of the arterial blood circuit to a distal end of the venous blood circuit; a substitution line through which a substitution fluid is allowed to be introduced into the blood circuit; and an infusion portion attached to the substitution line and from which a predetermined liquid drug to be administered to the patient is allowed to be infused into the substitution line. The blood purification apparatus includes a control unit that executes a drug introduction mode in which the substitution fluid in the substitution line is introduced into the blood circuit, the control unit causing the liquid drug infused from the infusion portion in the drug introduction mode to be introduced into the blood circuit together with the substitution fluid; and a calculation unit that calculates a volume of the substitution fluid introduced from the substitution line into the blood circuit with the execution of the drug introduction mode.

Method for measuring cholesterol in high-density lipoprotein

The present invention provides a method for a simple and accurate measurement of triglycerides in low-density lipoprotein in a sample comprising performing the following steps sequentially: (i) a step of generating free glycerol by allowing lipoprotein lipase to act on a sample, in an aqueous medium comprising the sample and a specific surfactant such as polyoxyethylene polyoxyalkylene polycyclic phenyl ether; (ii) a step of removing free glycerol present in the reaction solution of the above step (i); (iii) a step of generating free glycerol by allowing lipoprotein lipase to act on the reaction solution from which free glycerol has been removed in step (ii), in the presence of a specific surfactant such as polyoxyethylene polyoxyalkylene alkyl ether; and (iv) a step of measuring free glycerol generated in step (iii),and a kit used for the method.

The present invention provides a method for simply and precisely measuring cholesterol in an HDL subfraction contained in a sample. This is a method for measuring cholesterol in HDL3 contained in a sample, which comprises reacting a sample with (1) a combination of a cholesterol ester hydrolase and a cholesterol oxidase or (2) a combination of a cholesterol ester hydrolase, an oxidized coenzyme and a cholesterol dehydrogenase in an aqueous medium containing: (a) a divalent metal salt; (b) an alkali metal salt selected from the group consisting of a sulfate, a nitrate, a carbonate, an acetate and a halide; and (c) dextran sulfate or a salt thereof, and measuring a substance formed or consumed in the reaction without separating and removing lipoproteins other than HDL3.

Method for measuring cholesterol in HDL subfraction, and reagents and kit therefor

A method for determination of sdLDL-C in a reaction solution containing a surfactant that preferentially inhibits the reaction of sdLDL-C with enzymes for cholesterol measurement such as cholesterol ester hydrolase. In the method, the enzymes for cholesterol measurement act on a sample to eliminate HDL-C, VLDL-C, CM-C and LgLDL-C. A reagent that causes the reaction of sdLDL-C remaining in the reaction solution to form hydrogen peroxide or reduced coenzyme is then added, following which the formed hydrogen peroxide or reduced coenzyme is measured. The sdLDL-C concentration in the sample may be determined by comparing the measurement value with and a previously-prepared calibration curve.

The present invention provides a method, a reagent and a kit for the simple and accurate measurement of HDL cholesterol. The method for the measurement of cholesterol in high-density lipoprotein in a sample comprises reacting the sample with i) cholesterol esterase and cholesterol oxidase or ii) cholesterol esterase, oxidized coenzyme and cholesterol dehydrogenase in an aqueous medium comprising a specific nitrogen-containing surfactant having the structure of amine or ammonium salt and a polyanion, and measuring the formed hydrogen peroxide or reduced coenzyme.
