A vibration damping and sound insulating device installed on an installation object, includes: vibrators disposed at a prescribed spacing. Each of the vibrators includes: a cylindrical tubular member on the installation object; an elastic body supported by the cylindrical tubular member such that the elastic body traverses a hollow portion of the cylindrical tubular member along a direction orthogonal to an axis of the cylindrical tubular member; and a weight on the elastic body.

Vibration damping and sound insulating device

A power converter to be tested is supplied with arm current from a hysteresis converter in a state in which it is connected to an auxiliary converter through a line. In the power converter and the auxiliary converter, a circulation operation is performed in which a current path bypassing power storage elements is formed between an output terminal of the power converter and an output terminal of the auxiliary converter, after the start of output of arm current in accordance with a reference current command value in which an AC component and a DC component are superimposed, until a DC component of arm current reaches a predetermined level. After execution of the circulation operation, in the power converter and the auxiliary converter, voltage control of the power storage elements and the output terminals is started.

Testing device and testing method for power converters

A vehicular lighting fixture is provided which includes a combination of an aiming mechanism and a leveling mechanism that can reduce deformation of an aiming/leveling bracket. A vertical aiming mechanism and a leveling mechanism include an aiming/leveling bracket that is integrally molded with a resin. A rectangular recess is formed in the aiming/leveling bracket so as to accommodate an aiming nut serving as a point of load for the vertical aiming and an actuator output shaft serving as a point of effort. The rectangular recess is located on or near the central axis of the aiming nut where the central axis substantially coincides with the front-rear direction of a vehicle.

Vehicular lighting fixture with leveling mechanism

A current path to a gate is cut off by a normally-off first switch element until start-up of a gate drive voltage generator is sensed. Furthermore, a semiconductor switching element is maintained in an off state as a normally-on second switch element short-circuits the gate to a source. As start-up of the gate drive voltage generator is sensed, the second switch element is turned off and the first switch element is turned on. As the gate is thus driven by an output from a signal amplifier in accordance with a control signal, the semiconductor switching element is turned on and off in accordance with the control signal.

Drive circuit and power conversion device

A master converter and a plurality of slave converters each have an input connected to an associated one of a plurality of power storage elements, respectively, and an output connected to an output terminal in parallel. The master converter converts the voltage of the associated capacitor based on a duty ratio for matching an output voltage to a voltage command value, outputs the converted voltage to the output terminal, and transmits a control signal indicative of the duty ratio to the plurality of slave converters via a signal insulation unit. Each of the plurality of slave converters converts the voltage of the associated capacitor in response to the control signal transmitted via the signal insulation unit and outputs the converted voltage to the output terminal. A correction means is configured to correct at least the duty ratio in the master converter such that the duty ratio in the master converter matches the duty ratio in each of the plurality of slave converters.

Self-power feed circuit and power conversion device

A variable nozzle mechanism includes: a nozzle mount having an annular shape; a plurality of nozzle vanes supported rotatably at a plurality of respective locations along a circumferential direction of the nozzle mount; and a drive ring disposed rotatably with respect to the nozzle mount, the drive ring being configured to transmit a driving force to the nozzle vanes so that a vane angle of the nozzle vanes is variable and to rotate the nozzle vanes. The drive ring includes: a low-rigidity region; and a high-rigidity region including an uneven portion in a thickness direction of the drive ring, and having a greater cross-sectional secondary moment than the low-rigidity region in a cross section along a radial direction of the drive ring. The low-rigidity region and the high-rigidity region are disposed alternately in the circumferential direction. The number of the low-rigidity region and the number of the high-rigidity region are odd numbers, or the low-rigidity region and the high-rigidity region are disposed at an irregular pitch in the circumferential direction.

Power conversion device and direct-current power transmission system

A diode rectifier rectifies an AC voltage output from a neutral-grounding three-phase AC power supply to a DC voltage. A smoothing capacitor smoothes the DC voltage rectified by the diode rectifier. An inverter converts the DC voltage smoothed by the smoothing capacitor into a desired AC voltage. A bidirectional switch and a Y capacitor are connected in series between one end of the smoothing capacitor and the ground. A detector detects a voltage across both ends of the smoothing capacitor. A controller drives the bidirectional switch in response to an output of the detector.

Power converter

A converter cell includes first and second arms, each of which includes a semiconductor switching element and a diode, and a short circuit part connected in parallel to the second arm, and when a DC fault detection unit detects occurrence of a DC fault, a control circuit outputs, to the converter cell, a fault handling command for setting the short circuit part to a conductive state, setting the semiconductor switching element to a conductive state, and setting the semiconductor switching element to a non-conductive state, to thereby set both the semiconductor switching element and the diode to conductive states in the second arm.

Power converter including a plurality of converter cells connected in multiple series

When changing a nozzle blade angle by rotating a drive ring, a contact load generated between an inner circumferential surface of the drive ring and an outer circumferential surface of a mount can be reduced, allowing the drive ring to rotate smoothly and reducing the amount of wear and a driving force. It is also possible to reduce an impact force, such as engine vibrations, generated at the drive ring when an external force acts, reducing the risk of damage. A plurality of notches () are provided at an inner rim of the drive ring (), and, among inner circumferential surfaces (, and) located between the notches (), when a driving force for rotating the drive ring () is applied, the inner diameters of the inner circumferential surfaces (, and) where the contact load with the outer circumferential surface of a mount becomes large are made larger than the outer diameter of the outer circumferential surface.

Variable nozzle mechanism

An oil pan structure includes a plurality of reinforcement beads of several kinds. An engine utilizes the oil pan, whereby the strength and vibration-rigidity (rigidity against vibration) of the oil pan and the engine are sufficiently enhanced so that a natural frequency of the oil pan and the engine therewith becomes adjustable through a selection as to the numbers, locations, and sizes of the beads.
