The slit is provided in the release material and has a square shape including a first side, a second side, a third side, and a fourth side. The first side and the second side oppose each other. The third side and the fourth side oppose each other. The print label is fixed to the release material so as to span across the first side of the slit.

A label is to be wrapped around an adherend after being printed. The adherend has a diameter equal to or smaller than a prescribed diameter. In the label, a base material has a printing surface. An adhesive layer is provided on an opposite side surface of the base material from the printing surface. A release material is bonded to the adhesive layer with a portion of the adhesive layer exposed. The release material has a higher stiffness than the base material. A mark for alignment is to be used when bonding together exposed sections of the adhesive layer or an exposed section of the adhesive layer with the release material in order to form the label into a loop shape. The printing label is affixed to the release material so as to extend across the first side and the second side of the cut-out area. The first side and the second side are configured to include different types of the holes or the cuts or the series of holes or the series of cuts from each other.

A tape cassette used for a printer includes a thermal head and a cassette holder to which the tape cassette is attachable. The tape cassette includes a tape roll, a casing, a regulation guide and a pressure member. The tape roll is formed by winding a tape. The tape has a width defining a widthwise direction. The casing accommodates therein the tape roll. A tape conveying passage is defined in the casing. The regulation guide is positioned at the tape conveying passage to restrict displacement of the tape in the widthwise direction. The pressure member is positioned upstream of the regulation guide in a conveying direction of the tape and along the tape conveying passage. The pressure member is in contact with the tape in a contacting direction to apply pressing force to the tape in the contacting direction.

As a result, the aromatic polyester resin composition obtained by adding a relatively small amount of polyglycolic acid resin is provided with a good harmony of gas-barrier property and transparency.

Aromatic polyester resin composition and process for production thereof

For producing an aliphatic polyester resin composition containing a thermal stabilizer and a carboxyl group-capping agent, the aliphatic polyester resin is first mixed in a hot-melt state with the thermal stabilizer and then mixed in a hot-melt state with the carboxyl group-capping agent. As a result thereof, the resultant aliphatic polyester resin composition is provided with better moisture resistance and noticeably improved heat resistance (less coloring) than in the case where these additives are simultaneously added to effect the hot-melt mixing.
