A modified epoxy resin composition including: Compound A containing tris-(2,3-epoxypropyl)-isocyanurate having 1 to 3 glycidyl group(s) in a molecule substituted with a functional group(s) of Formula (1): in which Rand Rare each independently an alkyl group, an alkenyl group, an alkynyl group, an aryl group, an aralkyl group, a heterocyclic group; or a halogenated derivative, an aminated derivative, or a nitrated derivative of these groups; and Compound B containing tris-(2,3-epoxypropyl)-isocyanurate, wherein tris-(2,3-epoxypropyl)-isocyanurate of Compound A before the substitution and tris-(2,3-epoxypropyl)-isocyanurate of Compound B comprise 2% by mass to 15% by mass of &#x3b2;-type tris-(2,3-epoxypropyl)-isocyanurate and a remaining percentage of &#x3b1;-type tris-(2,3-epoxypropyl)-isocyanurate based on a total mass of Compound A before the substitution and Compound B.

Highly soluble modified epoxy resin composition

There is provided an epoxy resin composition containing an epoxy compound, which has a low viscosity and a low dielectric constant, and when added to a general-purpose epoxy resin composition, can lower a viscosity of the composition and can sufficiently lower a dielectric constant of an epoxy resin cured product obtained from the composition. An epoxy resin composition comprising: (a) an epoxy component containing at least an epoxy compound of formula [1]; and (b) a curing agent: wherein Rto Reach independently are a hydrogen atom or methyl group, and Lto Leach independently are pentamethylene group, hexamethylene group or heptamethylene group.

Long-chain alkylene group-containing epoxy resin composition

There is provided a curable resin composition that exhibits high adhesive properties to materials such as glass, copper, aluminum, PET, and PC, which have been regarded as poor adherends relative to photo-curable compositions, and high adhesive properties also between adherends different from each other. A curable resin composition including a polyene compound of Formula (1): (where n1, n2, and n3 are each independently an integer of 2 to 4; and Rto Rare each independently a hydrogen atom or a Calkyl group). The composition may further include a thiol compound or a photopolymerization initiator. The thiol compound may be a compound having two to six thiol groups in the molecule, or be an aliphatic thiol, or be produced by a reaction of an aliphatic mercapto carboxylic acid and a polyhydric alcohol. The polyhydric alcohol may be an aliphatic polyhydric alcohol or hydroxyalkyl isocyanurate.

There is provided an epoxy resin composition having low viscosity and a high cationic curing property. An epoxy compound of Formula (1): (in Formula (1), A is an (n4)-valent Clinear hydrocarbon group optionally containing an epoxy group, an (n4)-valent Ccyclic hydrocarbon group optionally containing an epoxy group, or an (n4)-valent group of a combination of the linear hydrocarbon group and the cyclic hydrocarbon group; Rand Rare each independently a hydrogen atom or a Calkyl group; n1 is an integer of 2 to 6; n2 is an integer of 2; n3 is an integer of 1; and n4 is an integer of 3 to 8). For example, A is an (n4)-valent organic group formed by removing (n4) hydrogen atoms from butane, pentane, or hexane, or an (n4)-valent organic group formed by removing (n4) hydrogen atoms from cyclobutane, cyclopentane, cyclohexane, epoxycyclohexane, alkyl-substituted epoxycyclohexane, bicycloheptene, or bicyclooctene.

Polyfunctional epoxy compound

There is provided an epoxy compound that provides properties of cured products combining high transparency with high flexural strength by being thermally cured while maintaining advantageous handling properties in a liquid state thereof; and a method for producing a composition by using the epoxy compound. To provide a novel method for producing a 2-azaadamantane compound from a bicyclocarbamate compound.
