A sealing member for machine tools is capable of keeping sealing performance. The sealing member includes a support member and an elastic member formed in a flat plate shape. The elastic member includes an edge portion to slide on a sliding surface of a machine tool. The support member has a support surface facing a part of a front surface of the elastic member. The sealing member is mounted to the machine tool such that the elastic member is sandwiched between a mount portion of the machine tool and the support surface of the support member. The elastic member has a fixed portion sandwiched between the mount portion and the support member. A lip portion not sandwiched between the mount portion and the support member when the sealing member is mounted to the machine tool, the lip portion including the edge portion and configured to be curved.

An object of the present invention is to provide a sealing member for machine tools which has excellent reliability because excellent sealability can be maintained for a long period of time and which can be manufactured efficiently at low cost. The sealing member for machine tools of the present invention includes a supporting member; a plate-shaped elastic member; and an adhesive layer which bonds the elastic member to the supporting member. The supporting member has a shape of a bent plate-like body, the elastic member is bonded to the supporting member via the adhesive layer laminated on a part of a front face of the elastic member so as to be curved along the bent shape of the supporting member, and a corner portion formed by a back face and one side face of the elastic member is assumed to be an edge portion in contact with an opposite material, and the one side face is formed by cutting.

Sealing member for machine tools

A sensor device includes a sensor element, a converter, and an output unit. The sensor element includes a sheet-like dielectric layer including an elastomer composition and a top electrode layer and a bottom electrode layer each including an electroconductive composition containing carbon nanotubes. The top and the bottom electrode layers are formed on a top surface and a bottom surface of the dielectric layer, respectively, and are at least partially opposed to each other across the dielectric layer. The at least partially opposed portions of the top and the bottom electrode layers constitute a detection portion, and the dielectric layer reversibly deforms to change an area of a main surface of the dielectric layer. The converter electrically is connected to the sensor element and converts capacitance at the detection portion that varies in accordance with the deformation of the dielectric layer to electric characteristics.

Decolorizable toner and process for preparing the same

The present invention discloses a decolorizable toner wherein a cationic dye having absorbance from the visible region to the near infrared region is contained in a binder resin together with a decolorant and anti-discoloration agent. In addition, the present invention also discloses a production process of a decolorizable toner that contains a step wherein cationic dye having absorbance from the visible region to the near infrared region, decolorant, binder resin and anti-discoloration agent are uniformly dissolved or dispersed in an organic solvent to prepare a mixed solution; a step wherein the solvent is removed from this mixed solution followed by drying; and, a step wherein the resulting dried mixture is pulverized to produce a toner.

Decolorizable toner and a decolorizable toner production process

A sheet of paper, plastic or the like on which an image has been formed using a toner that is photochemically decolorizable by absorption of near infrared rays is illuminated with near infrared rays under the state wherein the image is heated to a temperature equal to or higher than the glass-transition temperature of a binding resin of the toner. The color of the toner can thereby be easily and rapidly eliminated. This enables the reuse of the sheet to be realized easily and at a low cost.

Apparatus for decolorizing toner images and an image forming apparatus

A decolorizable toner including a resin binder, a near infrared ray-absorbing dye, a decolorizing agent and a light fastness stabilizer, and a process for preparing the decolorizable toner, which includes the steps of mixing the near infrared ray-absorbing dye and the light fastness stabilizer with the resin binder, and then mixing the decolorizing agent therewith. The decolorizable toner has excellent light stability during its production or storage and excellent decolorizing property.
