An optical pattern generation device includes: a first laser light source for emitting first laser light; a first diffractive optical element for changing a phase of the first laser light depending on a position on a plane perpendicular to a propagating direction of the first laser light, and emitting laser light having a phase distribution; a second diffractive optical element for changing a phase of incident laser light depending on a position on a plane perpendicular to a propagating direction of the incident laser light, and emitting laser light for forming an optical pattern; and a transfer optical system disposed between the first and second diffractive optical elements, for transferring the phase distribution of the laser light emitted from the first diffractive optical element to a phase distribution of laser light incident on the second diffractive optical element.

Optical pattern generation device

In a plane perpendicular to the optical axis () of a lens (), the direction in which the cylindrical surface has zero curvature is the direction of generatrix of the lens (), and the direction in which the cylindrical surface has non-zero curvature and that is orthogonal to the direction of generatrix is the direction of curvature of the lens (). A light source () is disposed at the focal position () in the direction of generatrix on the side of the incident surface () of the lens (), and emits light toward the incident surface () of the lens (), the light having a difference between the divergence angle in the direction of generatrix of the lens () and the divergence angle in the direction of curvature of the lens ().

Parallel light generation device

A lens () has an incidence surface () having a cylindrical shape and forming a concave shape, and an emitting surface () forming a convex shape with respect to an optical axis (). A light source () has a large divergence angle in a vertical direction, and a divergence angle in a horizontal direction which is smaller than that in the vertical direction. The light source () is located at a position of focal length of the lens () in the vertical direction on a side of the incidence surface. The horizontal direction of the light source () is aligned with a curvature direction of the cylindrical shape of the lens ().

Collimated light generating apparatus

There are provided: a planar waveguide in which claddings () and () each having a smaller refractive index than a laser medium for absorbing pump light () are bonded to an upper surface () and a lower surface () of a core () which is formed from the laser medium; pump light generation sources () and () for emitting pump light () to side surfaces () and () of the core (); and laser light high reflection films () and () formed on side surfaces () and () of the core (). Each of side surfaces () and () of the cladding () corresponding to the side surfaces () and () of the core () has a ridge structure () in which a part thereof is recessed.
