Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to methods and apparatuses for transmitting control information. In example embodiments, a method implemented in a network device is provided. According to the method, a configuration for PDCCH transmission is determined at least based on a periodicity of a plurality of symbol-based control resource sets (CORESETs) within one slot. The configuration indicates an allocation of a first number of PDCCH candidates to the plurality of symbol-based CORESETs. The first number of PDCCH candidates is less than a second number of PDCCH candidates preconfigured for a slot-based CORESET. The configuration is transmitted to a terminal device served by the network device. Downlink control information (DCI) is transmitted based on the configuration to the terminal device in the plurality of symbol-based CORESETs.

Methods and apparatuses for transmitting control information

Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a solution for transmitting and receiving control information in a communication system. In a method for communication, a terminal device can determine that first control information is to be transmitted to a network device in a second slot after a first slot, the first control information being at least a part of previous control information transmitted in the first slot. The terminal device may determine a set of resources for second control information to be transmitted to the network device in the second slot. The terminal device may transmit, to the network device, at least one of the first control information and the second control information based on the set of resources. Embodiments of the present disclosure can improve the reliability and robustness of transmissions of control information in the communication system.

Methods for communication, terminal device, network device, and computer readable media

Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a solution for improving feedback information for transmissions with repetition in a communication system. In a method for communication, a terminal device can obtain a first group of candidate offsets for transmissions of a first type and a second group of candidate offsets for transmissions of a second type. The terminal device may receive, from the network device, scheduling information for scheduling a transmission in a first slot, the scheduling information comprising a target offset selected from the first group of candidate offsets, the target offset indicating a second slot associated with a feedback indication for the transmission. The terminal device may determine a set of slots based on the second slot and the first group of candidate offsets. The terminal device may transmit, to the network device in the second slot, a set of feedback indications for the set of slots. Embodiments of the present disclosure can optimize and improve the reporting of feedback information by the terminal device to the network device in the communication system.

Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to methods, devices and computer readable media for Reference Signal (RS) transmission. A method for communication comprises determining one or more RS ports for RS transmission, the one or more RS ports being included in one or more RS groups. The method further comprises determining a plurality of parameters for generating a RS sequence specific to a RS group in the one or more RS groups, the RS group including at least one of the one or more RS ports. The method further comprises generating the RS sequence based on the plurality of parameters. In addition, the method further comprises transmitting the generated RS sequence over the at least one of the one or more RS ports. The embodiments of the present disclosure can solve the PAPR issue caused by mapping a same RS sequence to antenna ports across RS port groups.

Reference signal transmission

Embodiments relate to methods, devices and computer readable media of communication during data transmission and reception. A method of communication comprises receiving, at a terminal device and from a network device, resource allocation information indicating a slot offset value associated with transmission of uplink data or reception of downlink data, the slot offset value being selected from a range for scheduling slots in a carrier frequency; and performing the transmission or reception based on the slot offset value. Embodiments can support large bandwidth in frequency, schedule more uplink or downlink slots, and increase channel utilization.

Methods, devices and computer storage media of communication during transmission and reception

Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to methods, devices and computer readable media for multi-TRP transmission. The method comprises determining at least one transmission configuration indication (TCI) state to be configured to a terminal device, the at least one TCI state indicating a plurality of reference signal (RS) sets and quasi co-location relationship between the plurality of RS sets and respective groups of DMRS ports. The method further comprises determining DMRS ports for transmitting DMRSs to the terminal device via the plurality of TRPs and associations between the plurality of RS sets and the DMRS ports. In addition, the method further comprises configuring the at least one TCI state, the DMRS ports, and the associations between the plurality of RS sets and the DMRS ports to the terminal device. In this way, multi-TRP transmission can be supported without introducing additional indication overhead.

Multi-TRP transmission

Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to methods, devices and computer storage media for communication. A method comprises transmitting, from a network device to a terminal device, downlink control information (DCI) over a first set of Physical Downlink Control Channel (PDCCH) candidates for scheduling a Physical Downlink Shared Channel (PDSCH), where the DCI includes at least one of a counter downlink assignment indicator (DAI) value and a total DAI value; transmitting the PDSCH from the network device to the terminal device; and receiving a hybrid automatic repeat request acknowledgement (HARQ-ACK) codebook for the PDSCH from the terminal device, where the HARQ-ACK codebook is generated at least based on a first configuration of a second set of PDCCH candidates, and at least one of the counter DAI value and the total DAI value. As such, the dynamic HARQ-ACK codebook can be obtained without introducing additional signaling overhead.

Method, device and computer storage medium for communication

Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to methods, devices and computer readable media for communication. A method comprises determining, at a first device, a first parameter for determination of a sequence group index based on at least one of the following: a second parameter indicating an identity associated with a physical channel between the first device and a second device, a third parameter indicating a scrambling identity, and a fourth parameter indicating a cell identity; determining the sequence group index based on the first parameter; generating, at least based on the sequence group index, a Demodulation Reference Signal (DMRS) sequence to be transmitted to the second device; and transmitting the generated DMRS sequence to the second device over the physical channel. Embodiments of the present disclosure can enable DMRS transmission with low Peak to Average Power Ratio (PAPR) and high flexibility.

Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a solution for. In a method for communication, a terminal device receives, from a network device, control information indicating a set of resources and transmission configuration indicator (TCI) states for a communication between the terminal device and the network device. The terminal device determines resource subsets associated with the respective TCI states, each resource subset being a part of the set of resources in frequency domain. The terminal device determines a mapping of phase-tracking reference signals (PT-RSs) to the resource subsets. Embodiments of the present disclosure provide practical details on how to decide PT-RS presence/density/pattern/offset if a scheduled set of resources are shared by a plurality of TCI states, especially in case of scheme 2a/2b.

Embodiments relate to reference signal transmission and receiving in a wireless communication system A common reference signal sequence is generated based on a frequency range configuration at network side, the common reference signal sequence being shared by at least some of terminal devices respectively allocated with their own reference signal transmission configurations. The common reference signal sequence and sequence configuration information is transmitted to a terminal device, the sequence configuration information indicating a parameter by which a reference signal sequence transmitted for the terminal device can be obtained. A reference signal sequence solution with a low complexity is proposed for the wireless communication system with dynamic bandwidth allocation and/or configurable reference signal pattern, wherein only one common reference signal sequence is generated and shared by at least some of terminal devices, irrespective of reference signal transmission configurations like bandwidth allocation and/or reference signal pattern configuration.

According to the method, a first group of resources are determined to be used by a terminal device for determining a first group of beams from the first network device. The first group of resources are configured to the terminal device. A method comprises transmitting, from a first device to a second device, a plurality of repetitions for a physical channel for scheduling a communication between the first device and the second device, wherein the plurality of PDCCH repetitions indicate same offset information for the communication; determining, based on the same offset information and index information about a repetition of the plurality of repetitions, a time offset between the repetition and the communication; and performing, based on the time offset, the communication with the second device. Embodiments of the present disclosure enable both the network device and the terminal device to obtain, from the physical channel repetitions, the real time offset for a corresponding communication and improve reliability and robustness for the physical channel.

Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a method, a device and a computer readable medium for communication based on a multi-TRP codebook. According to a method for communication, a terminal device measures downlink channel conditions related to a plurality of network devices in communication with the terminal device. The terminal device selects a precoding matrix from a codebook based on the downlink channel conditions, elements in a column of the codebook represent respective beam sets for the plurality of network devices, and the precoding matrix indicates respective beams for the plurality of network devices. The terminal device transmits an index of the precoding matrix to at least one of the plurality of network devices. The embodiments of the present disclosure enable multi-TRP PMI feedback based on the proposed multi-TRP codebook.

A method at a base station for performing data transmission to a user equipment in a communications system supporting carrier aggregation of at least one first carrier on which a short TTI is applied and at least one second carrier on which a long TTI is applied. The method transmits at least one DL scheduling grant corresponding to data transmission to the user equipment in a DL control region of at least one of a short TTI on a first carrier and a long TTI on a second carrier and performs DL data transmission towards the user equipment in a data transmission region of a short TTI on the first carrier and in the data transmission region of a long TTI on the second carrier as indicated by the at least one DL scheduling grant.
