A method for continuing the purchase experience of a personalized semi-custom toy in a follow-up on-line interface experience or in a physical retail experience. The method includes the steps of a consumer assembling a semi-custom toy configuration by selecting from among multiple major component styles and assembling the major component styles selected and selecting additional optional accessories to add to the major components resulting in a semi-custom toy configuration; the consumer inputting identifiers for the selected major component styles and accessories so that an over all toy identifier can be assigned, which is associated with and correlates to the resulting configuration; memorializing the information electronically into a consumer/toy-configuration profile stored in a database having electronic memory for future retrieval and manipulation.

Method of providing a consumer profile accessible by an on-line interface and related to retail purchase of custom personalized toys

A modular toy vehicle design having a universal mating system between the body of the vehicle and the chassis such that multiple body styles will interchangeably mate with multiple chassis designs and where electrical interfaces are automatically established between the body and the chassis simply by mating and aligning the two together. The design allows for an electrical connection to be made in the process of mechanically mating and aligning the body of a toy vehicle to its chassis thereby powering electronic features that are physically connected to the body with the power source which is housed in the chassis. When the body is properly aligned and mounted, the electrical interfaces are automatically established. There is no separate step of plugging together mating connectors where one connector extends from a wire bundle electrically interfacing with the body and the mating connector extends from a separate wire bundle electrically interfacing with the chassis.

Modular toy vehicle

A toy vehicle design having two distinctly different methods to attach accessories. Accessories that attach to the front, sides, rear and bottom of the vehicle can connect to the chassis via a tab and slot system. Strategically positioned slots on the chassis undercarriage can accept tabs that extend from those accessories. The various accessories can be interchangeable and can be easily attached and removed without the need for tools. For front, side, rear and bottom fitting accessories, slots can be located along the outer perimeter of the vehicle chassis' undercarriage. The accept tabs can extend from the various accessories. Accessories that attach to the hood, roof and truck beds, magnets are built into the underside of the vehicle body with magnets of the opposite polarity attached to the inside of the accessories. For electronic accessories, the present invention can utilize female electrical connectors that can be located along the sides of the chassis undercarriage to accept male electrical connectors attached to accessories.

Modular toy vehicle accessory mounts

A quick mount and dismount design and method of installation for a toy rim and tire/wheel assembly comprising a tire/wheel having an outer tire portion and an inner core ring housing inside the outer tire portion, where the inner core ring housing has an interior cylindrical wall, where the interior wall has multiple ring like recesses. The inner core ring housing can be divided by an expansion seam to allow for press fitting the rim on the tire and press fitting the assembly onto the hub.
