A display device comprises a bank pattern disposed on a substrate and including a first bank pattern extended in a direction, second bank patterns adjacent to each other with the first bank pattern disposed between the second bank patterns, and connection portions connecting the first bank pattern with the second bank patterns, a first electrode disposed on the first bank pattern, a second electrode disposed on one of the second bank patterns, and a third electrode disposed on another one of the second bank patterns, an insulating layer disposed on the bank pattern, the first electrode, the second electrode, and the third electrode, and light emitting elements disposed between the first electrode and the second electrode, and between the first electrode and the third electrode.

A display device includes a first electrode and a second electrode spaced apart from each other on a substrate, a light-emitting element disposed between the first electrode and the second electrode on the substrate, a third electrode disposed on the first electrode and an end of the light-emitting element, a fourth electrode disposed on the second electrode and another end of the light-emitting element, a first insulation pattern disposed on the third electrode, and a second insulation pattern disposed on the first insulation pattern. An end of the first insulation pattern corresponding to the end of the light-emitting element protrudes toward the another end of the light-emitting element further than an end of the third electrode, and the second insulation pattern fills a space adjacent to the end of the third electrode and formed under the first insulation pattern.

Display device and manufacturing method thereof

A display device may include a substrate, and a display element layer disposed on the substrate and including a light emitting element that emits light in a display direction. The display element layer may include a first contact electrode electrically connected to the light emitting element, a second contact electrode electrically connected to the light emitting element, and a bank pattern having a shape extending in the display direction. At least one of the first contact electrode, the second contact electrode, and the bank pattern may include a transparent conductive polymer.

A display device in accordance with some embodiments may include a substrate, a first interlayer insulating layer on the substrate, a data conductor on the first interlayer insulating layer, a passivation layer on the data conductor, a pixel electrode layer on the passivation layer, and a shielding electrode between the data conductor and the pixel electrode layer, and defining a first contact opening and a second contact opening, wherein the data conductor and the pixel electrode layer are electrically coupled to each other in each of the first contact opening and the second contact opening.
