In a system for controlling an internal combustion engine, first opening determination of determining whether to open an air bypass valveon the basis of a compressor flow rate (target compressor flow rate QAIRCMD) passing through a compressorand a compressor front-rear pressure ratio P/P, and second opening determination of determining whether to open the air bypass valveon the basis of an opening ratio reduction amount DRTHO as a reduction amount of an opening ratio RTHO of a throttle valveare performed. The air bypass valveis opened when it is determined in both of the first opening determination and the second opening determination that the air bypass valveshould be opened.

System for controling internal combustion engine

A control device is provided capable of reliably preventing occurrence of a surging state by judging a possibility of the surging state in a relatively easy manner and promptly executing a surging state avoidance control. When a supercharging pressure decreasing state in which a target supercharging pressure decreases is detected, an operating speed of a wastegate valve is determined based on a detected engine rotational speed. That is, by lowering the operating speed as the engine rotational speed lowers, reduction in flow rate of the air passing through a compressor is prevented, and the occurrence of the surging state is reliably prevented. By lowering the operating speed instead of changing a target opening degree of the wastegate valve, a maximum opening degree of the wastegate valve can be suppressed, and responsiveness in the case where an acceleration request is made immediately after deceleration of an engine can be improved.

In the present disclosure, pressurized fuel is directly injected from a fuel injection valve into a cylinder, and a fuel pressure is controlled to a target fuel pressure. A target fuel pressure during early depressurization is calculated on the basis of a target amount of intake air that is a target load of an internal-combustion engine, a target fuel pressure during a normal state is set on the basis of an actual amount of intake air that is an actual load of the internal-combustion engine, and a lower one of the target fuel pressure during early depressurization and the target fuel pressure during a normal state is set as the target fuel pressure.

Fuel injection control device for internal-combustion engine

A control apparatus for an internal combustion engine with a supercharger includes a boost-pressure detector. When first boost pressure control to control the supercharger such that a boost pressure reaches a target pressure starts, starts, the target pressure is set to an initial target pressure, gradually at a first rate, and then gradually increased to a steady-state target boost pressure at a second rate smaller than the first rate if the boost pressure is equal to or higher than a threshold pressure. Second boost pressure control is performed such that the boost pressure reaches a steady-state target boost pressure. Inhibiting/allowing circuitry is configured to inhibit execution of the first boost pressure control and allow execution of the second boost pressure control if the boost pressure is lower than the steady-state target boost pressure and if the steady-state target boost pressure is lower than the threshold pressure.
