A pressurizing unit applies pressure around a measurement site of a measurement subject so as to suppress blood flow at the measurement site during a set pressurizing time. While the pressurizing unit is applying pressure around the measurement site, a detection unit detects a photoacoustic signal generated at the measurement site irradiated with a light beam. The detection unit detects a photoacoustic signal when a preset time has elapsed after the pressurizing unit started to apply pressure around the measurement site.

Method and device for measuring concentration of component

A light emitting unit irradiates a measurement site of a measurement subject with a light beam having a wavelength that is absorbed by a measurement target substance. A detection unit detects a photoacoustic signal generated in the measurement site irradiated with the light beam emitted from the light emitting unit. A resonator is arranged so as to clamp the measurement site, and causes the above-described photoacoustic signal to resonate. The resonator is constituted by a first reflection unit and a second reflection unit. The first reflection unit is arranged between the light irradiation unit and the measurement site. Also, the light beam passes through the first reflection unit. The second reflection unit is arranged between the detection unit and the measurement site.

Component concentration measuring device

A temperature measurement device includes a first probe that measures a physical quantity related to a temperature of a substance on the basis of a first reference, a second probe that measures a physical quantity related to a temperature of the substance on the basis of a second reference different from the first reference, and a heat conductive member that covers the first probe and the second probe and transports heat from the substance.

Temperature measurement device and temperature measurement method

A light source that emits beam light, a beam shaping unit that shapes the beam light, and a pulse control unit that forms the beam light into pulse light are included. The light source emits beam light that has a wavelength that is to be absorbed by a measurement-target substance. The pulse control unit forms beam light that is emitted from the light source and with which a measurement-target part is irradiated, into pulse light that has a preset frequency and has a pulse width that is a reciprocal of twice the frequency. The beam shaping unit shapes the beam light so that a beam radius of the beam light that is emitted from the light source and with which the measurement-target part is to be irradiated is equal to a value obtained by dividing a speed of sound by π×f, where f denotes the frequency.

Photoacoustic analysis method and device

A suction channel is made of a flexible resin, and is formed in a base. The suction channel suctions sweat that has come into contact with the detection electrode. The suction channel makes use of surface tension from micro channels to suction liquid into an interior from a suction port. A sodium ion detection electrode, a potassium ion detection electrode, and a reference electrode, which are detection electrodes for detecting ions contained in the sweat, are formed on an inner wall of a channel of the suction channel.

An internal temperature measurement device includes a sound wave sensor that transmits a sound wave to a subject and receives a reflected sound wave reflected by the subject, a time measurement device that measures an elapsed time elapsed between transmission of the sound wave from the sound wave sensor and reception of the reflected sound wave, a sound velocity calculator that calculates a sound velocity in the subject according to the elapsed time measured by the time measurement device, and an internal temperature derivation device that determines an internal temperature of the subject according to the sound velocity calculated by the sound velocity calculator.

Internal temperature measurement device and method

A device includes: an ultrasonic wave irradiation unit that irradiates a living body with an ultrasonic wave; an ultrasonic wave detection unit that receives an ultrasonic wave reflected by the living body; and a calculation unit that calculates an amount of temperature change in the living body. The calculation unit is configured to: calculate a frequency of an ultrasonic wave amplified in the living body, based on information on a structure of the living body; perform frequency analysis on the ultrasonic wave received by the ultrasonic wave detection unit and acquire an amplitude spectrum of the ultrasonic wave; identify, from the amplitude spectrum, a peak frequency closest to the frequency of the ultrasonic wave; calculate an amount of frequency change, from two peak frequencies identified by ultrasonic wave irradiations in twice; and calculate an amount of temperature change in the living body from the amount of frequency change.

Living body internal temperature measuring device

A heat flux sensor including two temperature sensors is used to obtain time-series data of a core temperature of a living body, and a blood flow rate in a vicinity of the heat flux sensor is measured by a blood flow sensor. In an arithmetic circuit, a delay time until a fluctuation of the core temperature of the living body is reflected on an epidermis temperature is calculated on the basis of the blood flow rate measured by the blood flow sensor and a previously prepared relation between the blood flow rate and the delay time until the fluctuation of the core temperature of the living body is reflected on the epidermis temperature, and a time corresponding to the core temperature of the living body on the basis of the delay time is corrected.

Living body internal temperature measuring device and living body internal temperature measuring method

A light irradiation unit configured to irradiate a measurement part with a light beam that has a wavelength absorbed by glucose and a detection unit configured to detect a photoacoustic signal generated from the measurement part irradiated with the light beam emitted from the light irradiation unit are included. The light irradiation unit irradiates the measurement part by scanning the light beam 2-dimensionally. The measurement part is irradiated with the light beam through raster scanning. For example, the light beam has a beam diameter of about 100 μm and is scanned at a scanning speed of about 100 μm/10 ms.

Component concentration measurement device

An in-vivo temperature measurement device includes a plurality of thermal resistors, temperature sensors for measuring an epidermis temperature of a living body, and temperature sensors for measuring an upper surface temperature that are provided at both ends of the thermal resistors, respectively, a memory that stores an estimation model of the core temperature of the living body that takes into consideration a non-thermal equilibrium state of the living body, and thermal resistance values of the thermal resistors, and an arithmetic circuit that estimates, based on the plurality of temperatures measured by the temperature sensors and the temperature sensors, the core temperature of the living body using the estimation model and the thermal resistance values, and the thermal resistance values are different from one another.

Internal body temperature measurement device and internal body temperature measurement method

A component concentration measurement device includes a light irradiation unit that performs intensity modulation where two lights of wavelengths different from each other are intensity-modulated by signals of a same frequency and a same phase, and a measurement object is irradiated, a detecting unit that detects a photoacoustic wave generated within the measurement object due to irradiation by the light irradiation unit, and converts the detected photoacoustic wave into a first electric signal, and a processing unit that obtains a concentration of a target component contained in the measurement object, on the basis of an amplitude and a phase of the first electric signal. Light absorption coefficients of the two lights, corresponding to a background component contained in the measurement object, are equal in change amount with regard to change in temperature, and have signs different from each other.

Component-concentration measuring apparatus and method

The present invention provides novel angiogenesis inhibitors effective, safe and highly practical for inhibition of angiogenesis in various diseases, and a method for screening the same. The active ingredients of the angiogenesis inhibitors of the present invention comprise ansamycin antibiotics such as rifampicin, rifamycin SV and 3-formyl rifamycin, which have long been used extensively as antibacterial agents for treating tuberculosis or Gram-positive bacterial infections. The active ingredients of the present invention have excellent angiogenesis-inhibiting activity. The angiogenesis inhibitor of the present invention is effective for inhibition of angiogenesis in malignant tumors, diabetic retinopathy, retinal angiogenesis, inflammatory diseases, and angiogenesis accompanying cardiovascular remodeling, etc., and can be used as therapeutic agents against each disease, etc. Further, the screening method of the present invention makes it possible to perform an effective screening of angiogenesis-inhibiting substances by detecting angiogenesis-inhibiting signals based on gene expression levels.
