An electrical power conversion control device of an electric automotive vehicle is obtained which is small in size and inexpensive with lower electric current consumption. In the power conversion control device, insulating power sources are each connected to gate drive circuits to form respective pairs therebetween; electric power whose voltage is regulated as a constant voltage by way of a constant-voltage circuit is supplied from a low-voltage battery to a low-voltage side of an insulating communications circuit, and a high-voltage side of the insulating communications circuit is operated by an insulating power source being at least one insulating power source among the insulating power sources; and a signal of a voltage of a high-voltage battery is insulated from the high-voltage side of the insulating communications circuit and transmitted therefrom to the low-voltage side thereof.

Power conversion control device

A fourth constant-voltage power circuit directly powered from an on-vehicle battery is connected, in parallel through a serial resistor, to a second constant-voltage power circuit powered from the on-vehicle battery through an output contact of a power relay, and is connected to a drive power terminal of a microprocessor. When the output contact is closed, the microprocessor operates with an output voltage of the second constant-voltage power circuit, and an output current of the fourth constant-voltage power circuit is limited to less than or equal to a predetermined value by the serial resistor. During the operation stop at which a power switch is open, a micro standby current is supplied from the fourth constant-voltage power circuit to the microprocessor.

On-vehicle electronic control apparatus

In a power supply system provided with an assembled battery supervisory device which supervises an assembled battery composed of storage elements connected in series with one another, the system using the assembled battery is obtained which makes it possible to supply electric power to the assembled battery supervisory device, with a simple arrangement. The arrangement is such that electric power for the assembled battery supervisory device is obtained from a part of storage elements constituting the assembled battery. The cell balancer is driven based on the average consumption electric current of the assembled battery supervisory device so as to suppress a deviation in the amount of charge between those storage elements which supply electric power to the assembled battery supervisory device, and those storage elements which do not supply electric power to the assembled battery supervisory device, resulting from the average consumption electric current of the assembled battery supervisory device.

Power supply system using an assembled battery

In a vehicle-mounted electronic control device having a switching power supply in which a switching element is controlled to obtain a predetermined intermediate voltage Va stepped down from a vehicle-mounted battery, and to which a downstream side coil, a flywheel diode, and an output capacitor are connected to suppress a pulsating voltage, a circuit for suppressing reverse conduction for the switching element is provided in order to prevent that the switching element is reversely conducted and thus a charging voltage of the output capacitor is abnormally lowered when a power supply voltage Vb of the vehicle-mounted battery is abnormally lowered.

Vehicle-mounted electronic control device

Even when, due to an abnormal decrease in the battery voltage, an engine control apparatus is inoperative, an engine can safely be started. Based on gearshift lever selection position information generated by a gearshift sensor (A), a first detection circuit () generates a first detection signal PSwhen the gearshift lever is in the neutral position or in the parking position; a microprocessor (A) is provided with a second detection means that generated a second detection signal PSwhen the gearshift lever is in the neutral position or in the parking position. Even when, due to an abnormal decrease in the voltage of a vehicle battery, the microprocessor (A) is inoperative, by ascertaining through the first detection signal PSthat the vehicle is in a state of not being driven, the engine can be started by means of a starting switch.

Engine control apparatus

The leakage resistance detection device includes a coupling capacitor having one terminal connected to an on-board high voltage device and another terminal connected to a repetitive signal output circuit, and measures a leakage resistance as a function of a transition time during which a monitoring voltage, which is a potential at the another terminal of the coupling capacitor to be charged/discharged in response to an operation of a charge/discharge switching element that operates in response to a repetitive pulse signal, changes from one predetermined voltage to reach another predetermined voltage. When the measured leakage resistance has become equal to or smaller than a predetermined limit leakage resistance, the leakage resistance detection device generates a resistance abnormality determination output.

A motor drive control device is provided in which if any abnormality occurs in a drive control circuit, drive command signals the drive control circuit generates are interrupted at once, so that an AC motor can be stopped in safety. A monitor control circuit and drive command signal interruption circuit are provided to the drive control circuit that takes variable-speed control of the AC motor supplied with power from a DC drive power source via a semiconductor bridge circuit. If any abnormality occurs in the drive control circuit, the drive command signals the drive control circuit generates are interrupted at once. When starting operation, the drive control circuit and monitor control circuit cooperate with each other to conduct preliminary check as to whether or not the drive command signal interruption circuit operates normally, base on a predetermined time schedule, and stop the AC motor without fail if any abnormality occurs during operation.

Motor drive control device

Provided is a drive control device capable of surely detecting, by a monitoring/controlling unit, an abnormality of a short circuit and a disconnection in a power supply circuit to an electric load, and of decreasing a load required for a quick response imposed on the monitoring/controlling unit. A switching element is controlled to open/close by a control output signal generated by a monitoring/controlling unit, and a determination storing circuit determines whether circuit opening and circuit closing have been correctly carried out and stores a result of the determination, and periodically reports to the monitoring/controlling unit. While the stored content of the determination is periodically reset, the determination operation is updated and continues. The monitoring/controlling unit does not need to immediately monitor the determination storing signal when the open/closing command is generated.

Drive control device for an electric load

A vehicle mounted engine control apparatus serves to prevent air fuel ratio control from becoming an excessively fuel rich state by sequentially actuating heaters for early activation of a pair of exhaust gas sensors arranged in an upstream and a downstream position of a catalyzer. Electric power is first supplied to a heater for an upstream exhaust gas sensor, and the supply of electric power to a heater for a downstream exhaust gas sensor is started without waiting for activation of the upstream exhaust gas sensor, if a heater current declines to a predetermined value or less. When the upstream exhaust gas sensor is inactive, an output signal of an upstream air fuel ratio control unit inputted to a fuel injection control unit is restricted to a predetermined fuel rich command, and when the downstream exhaust gas sensor is inactive, an output signal of an downstream air fuel ratio control unit inputted to the upstream air fuel ratio control unit is restricted to a predetermined fuel rich command.

Vehicle mounted engine control apparatus

An electronic control apparatusA is configured in such a way that a CPUA reads the conduction current of an opening/closing devicein an IPMA, by way of serial-parallel convertersandand a second multi-channel A/D converter; the opening/closing deviceis opening/closing-controlled through a serial control signal SRn or a parallel control signal PWMn; and a reading timing control circuitadjusts the reading timing in such a way that, regardless of the kind of the control signal, reading is performed during the period in which the opening/closing deviceis driven to be closed. As a result, the serial-parallel converter can reduce the number of wiring leads between the IPM and the microprocessor, and the digital conversion value is accurately read, by adjusting the error between the serial-signal timing and the parallel-signal timing.

Electronic control apparatus

An analog input signal obtained from an analog sensor groupA and first and second calibration voltages obtained by high-precision voltage-dividing resistors are successively selected by a multiplexer, digitally converted through an AD converter and then input to a microprocessor. The microprocessor calculates a collinear approximate coefficient based on the first and second calibration voltages in cooperation with a program memory, and corrects the digital conversion value to the analog input signal by using the approximate coefficient, thereby correcting a linear error of the conversion characteristic of the AD converter. In the calculation of the approximate coefficient, upper and lower limit check is executed on measurement values and calculation coefficients, and also plural calculation results are averaged to enhance the precision.

Electronic control unit having analog input signal

Respective positive terminal electric potentials of exhaust gas sensors are sequentially selectively inputted to an analog input terminal of a multi-channel AD converter through a multiplexer. An offset voltage is applied to respective negative terminals of the exhaust gas sensors. This offset voltage is inputted to another input terminal of the multi-channel AD converter. A microprocessor detects a generating voltage of the exhaust gas sensors by the difference between a digital converting value of the positive terminal electric potential and a digital converting value of the negative terminal electric potential. The microprocessor also individually judges that each of the digital converting values is excessively small and excessively large. Thus, the microprocessor judges the existence of ground, sky short circuit and disconnection abnormalities of the negative terminal and the positive terminal.

Engine controller

A single state detector circuit can quickly detect short-circuit and open-circuit abnormalities of a load controlled by a power transistor. A DC power supply, the load and the power transistor are serially connected with one another, so that a switching terminal voltage of the power transistor is binarized into high and low levels by the state detector. The power transistor is linearly controlled by a constant-current control circuit so as to suppress an excessive current, and power supplied to the power transistor is interrupted by an overheat interruption circuit. Upon occurrence of a short-circuit in the load during generation of an energization command, a switching terminal voltage of the power transistor becomes stabilized at a high level without intermittent operation, which is detected by the state detector. Upon occurrence of an open-circuit during generation of a deenergization command, a low switching terminal voltage is detected by the state detector.
