A vehicle lamp includes: a low beam unit including a first light emitting unit and irradiating light only to region below a cutoff line; a high beam unit including a second light emitting unit and irradiating light to regions around and above the cutoff line; and a lighting controller that controls lighting of the low beam unit and the high beam unit. The lighting controller controls to switch between a low mode in which the low beam unit is turned ON and the high beam unit is turned OFF and a high mode in which the low beam unit and the high beam unit are turned ON, and a first light quantity irradiated by the low beam unit in the high mode is larger than a second light quantity irradiated by the low beam unit in the low mode.

Vehicle lamp and control method thereof

A vehicle lamp () includes a light emitting element () functioning as a light source, a substrate () on which the light emitting element is mounted, at least the portion of the substrate on which the light emitting element is mounted being colored in a dark color, a reflection part () configured to reflect light emitted from the light emitting element, and a concealing part () configured to hold the substrate and conceal at least a part of the substrate. A lamp includes a substrate, a heat-dissipation member, an optical member, and a heat-transfer member. The optical member, the substrate and the heat-dissipation member are arranged in this order. In two members of the heat-dissipation member and the optical member or two members of the heat-dissipation member and the substrate, one end sides thereof are fixed to each other by a fixing mechanism, and the other end sides thereof are hooked and fixed such that the two members are prevented from being displaced in a direction away from each other with the heat-transfer member located between the one end side and the other end side being a support point and the one end side being a force point.

The vehicle lamp of the present disclosure includes a substrate, a heat dissipating member, a reflector, and a fastening member. The reflector includes a boss portion that protrudes toward the heat dissipating member side and includes a fastening hole. The substrate includes a first opening. The heat dissipating member is in contact with the substrate to be thermally conductive with the substrate and includes a first portion that includes a second opening, a second portion that is more spaced apart from the reflector than the first portion to include an insertion hole and a fastening seat surface, and a connecting portion that connects the first portion and the second portion to each other. A lamp that is mounted on a vehicle has a light-emitting element having a light-emitting portion, a first terminal, and a second terminal, a circuit board having a first surface on which the light-emitting element mounted is mounted, and a reflector that reflects light emitted from the light-emitting portion to a front of the light-emitting element. The first terminal supplies power to the light-emitting portion. The second terminal supports the light-emitting portion. The first terminal and the second terminal are arranged in a longitudinal direction. The second terminal is placed rearward of the first terminal.

A light emitting lamp according to one embodiment of the present invention includes a laser light source, a scanning unit, which scans the laser light emitted from the laser light source so as to form a visible light distribution pattern, an obstacle detector, which detects an obstacle, if any, in front of a driver's vehicle, and a control unit, which adjusts the intensity of the laser light irradiated to an obstacle existent region, according to the distance from the driver's vehicle to the obstacle, based on the detection result of the obstacle detector.

A transportation device lamp fixture includes a semiconductor light-emitting device, a circuit board to which the semiconductor light-emitting device is mounted, a lamp body, and a front cover that covers an opening of the lamp body. There is provided a vehicle lamp. The vehicle lamp includes a lamp body including a hole portion therein; an outer lens, attached to the lamp body to form a lamp chamber; a lamp unit provided in the lamp chamber and including a light emitting element serving as a light source; a heat sink; and a fan. The heat sink includes a base portion fitted into the hole portion of the lamp body; outer fins disposed on a surface of the base portion and extending outside of the lamp body; and inner fins disposed on another surface of the base portion and extending into the lamp chamber. The fan moves air in the lamp chamber toward the inner fins, which are configured such that the air passing between the respective inner fins is guided toward the outer lens.

An automotive lamp includes an LED as a light source, a heatsink for radiating heat produced by the LED, the heatsink including a plurality of plate fins installed upright on base parts and a plurality of ventilation passages formed between the plate fins, a centrifugal fan for performing the forced air cooling of the plate fins by sending air through the ventilation passages of the heatsink, the centrifugal fan having air inlets in an axial direction for drawing air in, a left-side air outlet and a right-side air outlet for discharging air in left-right directions perpendicular to the axial direction, and a lamp housing for housing the LED, heatsink and centrifugal fan. A vehicle lighting device is provided with: a lamp chamber defined by a lamp body and a cover; a light source unit including a semiconductor light emitting element as a light source and provided within the lamp chamber; a metallic heat transfer member attached to the lamp body and penetrating between an outside and an inside of the lamp chamber; and an air blower disposed between the light source unit and the heat transfer member so that an air blowing direction of the air blower directs toward the heat transfer member.
